| MINUTES hello all! these minutes will not be perfect because Kristene was absent... please bear with me(Vickie)... =) Call to order: 7:11 =) Ken not here; Bill came later with permission slips for the Survivor weekend. *for a new permission slip, visit the crew web site (www.geocities.com/crew1407) and print one out* =) Mike hand out and talk about weekend schedule for Survivor as well as Survival kits. *go to the crew web site (see above) and print the schedule if you don't have one or lost it* =) you NEED a survival kit to go on the weekend! =) EVOA sign-up -if you still plan on going, call vic before friday NOON or ASAP with either a YES or NO. - we will be sleeping in tents, so the price will be only $20 for the EVOA weekend. =) ALL DUES MUST BE PAID TO GO ON ANY CAMPOUT =) Kritene was going to find out more about SMOC and will get back to us at the next meeting (04/16/02) =) if ANYONE wants a ranger book, call vic- they're FREE! thats right, and they're going like hot cakes! get 'em while you can! =) good news: we recieved the crew flag stands, and poles in the mail. our actual FLAG however will come by early May. =) bad news: we are NOT going to Philmont in 2004. best solution is to pick a brand new super adventure (2+ weeks) for 2004 =) 2003 activity? -isle royal? -biking in Vermont? -white water rafting? -something else? -feedback please! =) bring a friend to the next meeting! bring 2! bring a freind every meeting! the more the merrier. =) Al Bamgartner and rick Ponder from the Mens Club came and gave us $200 from AmVets Post 121, as well as $36.25 from the Mens club for flag bags and holsters. THANK YOU! : ) -all the AmVets would like in return is for us to help at their Pig Roast and we would be cleaning up just like at the Fish Frys (chairs and tables, etc) -they also extend the offer to us that if we need anything (money, etc) to go to a meeting in full uniform and ask them, and they're help us out as best they can. =) Mom/Daughter Breakfast @ St. Margarets-MAY 5, 7am-2pm. -Come help!! in uniform! serve coffee, clean up... =) we NEED a new charter rep! -someone who will go to the Mens Club meetings and report on the crew, i.e. - be a member of the Mens Club. the dues are $1 a year. how easy is that? ask you dads! see if they'd be willing to help us out. =) EUCHRE fund raiser! we have 5 adults willing to help. in order to get the bulk of the profits, we need 10 adults. -any person 21 or older who is willing to help (friends, family) let us know! =)adjournment: 8:30 -Vickie Walilko President |
