GRAY CODE

This is a code that is used to describe a position of a mechanical device eg a gear or machine shaft. It cannot be used mathematically like binary, octal or "Hex". It does not make sense to add or subtract Gray Code numbers. Only one bit changes at a time. It is called a UNIT STEP code.
