Software
Application software
is a computer program used for a specific task. Custom software is written for
a customer. We use custom software to present your school reports. Commercial
software packages are cheaper than custom software but may not have all the
features wanted.
Examples of
application software are wordprocessors, databases, spreadsheets, desktop
publishing, graphics programs and communications.
