I N T R O D U C T A R Y . I N F O R M A T I O N- Skylark Incorporated, formally Skylark Industries of the late 22nd century, North American genetics monopoly monster turned aerospace technology organization. Stipulation and suspicion have forever shadowed Skylark's existence since its original establishment sometime in the mid 2100's. What was, what is, and what has yet to come concerning the company and its activities remain mystery to most, yet security is lacking in recent years, and for a select few, some secrets are now common knowledge, some secrets better left unknown. For Skylark now has its share of enemies, some with their own self-serving agendas.

B A C K G R O U N D . I N F O R M A T I O N- Very little is known of its agendas after the re-birth of technological giant Skylark Incorporated in the early part of the century. Bits and pieces of its past, however, have forever been objects of popular speculation.
One such topic of interest surrounds the events leading up to the launch of the doomed Jupiter II space craft, launched by then Skylark Industries in the late 22nd century, a giant in the space aeronautics industry. Shortly beforehand Skylark had made its billions in the genetics field, aiding in such projects as the Human Cloning Site, and though at the time not very widely known, even the disastrous New Children Project. Deep ties to the United Allegiance military sparked much protest among the smaller activist groups, accusations of illegal genetics experimentation a common cry, especially centered on Skylark and its research at the military base at deserts of Los Delos, Nevada. Protesters claimed Skylark and its military affiliates were conducting such illegal experimentation of unwilling citizens of the area, their experiments linked with certain single celled organisms recovered from Mars earlier in the century. Others claimed Skylark was also responsible for the disastrous Ch'arlen virus. Such outrageous speculation was never proven.
Outside accusations grew to a dramatic peek at the launch of the Jupiter II space craft in the first decade of the 22nd century, though the accusers never received the chance to speculate further with the craft's return. Chaos ensued and Skylark dropped off the map for decades, presumably bankrupt and dead, only for one of the founder's descendants to revive the company at the start of the next century in prolific fashion.
Skylark would later reinvent itself as a stark critic of both the aeronautics and genetics industries, instead focusing on other branches of developmental technology, eventually formed the odd coupling between itself and the then small time radicalist movement behind the Los Delos Humanity Order. Together the two would eventually build Los Delos City, though Skylark always gave the forefront to the Order, choosing to show its influence through more subtle measures.

A G E N D A- Vastly unknown, though Skylark functioned as the primary supporter of the Los Delos Humanity Order and played tenement roles into the construction of Los Delos City. It is commonly believed that Skylark is the real player behind the L.D.H.O.'s strings. Currently Skylark owns, in one way or another, at least 70% of Los Delos, both in industry and actual lands. It continues as a technological force to be reckoned with today, its brand plastered over nearly every product in the City, its name common to the lips of every City citizen.
