i'm feelin' crossed i take it inside
burn up the pain, my thoughts are strange
just like the things i used to love
just like the tree that fell, i heard it
is art still inside, i feel it
i wanna bleed, show the world all that i have inside
i wanna scream, let the blood flow that keeps me alive

They call themselves 'Crestfallen,' the forsaken, hunted by their vampyre and human brethren alike. They have fallen from grace - and they revel in it. To the human populace the name Spider's Dusk refers publicly to a large, primarily deteriorated section of the Lower City's residential area; yet it was the Crestfallen urban vampyres that actually coined the name, referring to both the area and the swelling underground movement of vampyres rebelling against the Sangiu'matii and its notions of hierarchy and authoritarian rule.

This is in essence where the Sangiu'matii's grasp ends and the rest begins. A figurative underground city of Crestfallen multitudes, defiant urban Low Blood and made vampyres, including a few jaded Intermediates who have rejected the counsel's agendas, determined to forsake involvement with the Wastes, and instead joining the underground world of the urban vampyre.

Either forced out or swept into vampyrism illegally, all vampyre lost souls either journey to or choose to remain in Los Delos City, though not all join the movement of Spider's Dusk. Low Blood and Doves seeking independence and freedom formed the renegade vampyre association roughly twenty years ago, where it has grown steadily in both popularity and volume since. Its members shun involvement with the counsel and the Wastelands totally, resulting in a life cold and dangerous to the Crestfallen few. Strangely enough the Dusk is not a very political organization. Instead within their society there are no rules or obligations, simply the dream of freedom.

The whole of the Lower City of Los Delos belongs to the Crestfallen and the Crestfallen alone among their kind. This land they share with the unusual, desperate, or driven human, living side by side almost exclusively unknown. The whole of the Lower City area is primarily composed of slums and back allies known to all, human and Crestfallen alike, collectively as Spider's Dusk. The underground city runs several vampyre safe houses for those seeking shelter, help on what they've become, a safe place for those sought after by the Sangiu'matii, or just somewhere to go to have wicked fun.

A vast network of night clubs disguised as human buildings make up the heart of the organization - woe to the human who walks in a club by mistake.

As part of the Dusk policy, there is no rank. Among its members, or at least supposedly, everyone is considered each other's equal, though a slight double standard exists among certain members with origins among the Intermediates (Doves).
