Grilled Angel Food With Fruit Salsa
Prep time: 15 minutes
| � cup chopped cantaloupe |
� cup chopped strawberries |
� cup blueberries |
| 1 kiwi fruit, peeled, chopped |
2 to 3 tbsp. sugar |
1 tbsp. fresh lime juice |
| 1 (14 oz.) angel food cake loaf |

- Heat grill. In medium bowl, combine all ingredients except cake; mix well. Slice cake horizontally.
- When ready to grill, place cake halves, cut side down. Cook 30 to 60 seconds or until light golden brown.
- To serve, cut cake into 8 pieces; place on individual dessert plates and top with fruit.
- Note: To broil cake, place cake halves, cut side up on broiler pan; broil 4 to 6" from heat for 1 to 2 minutes.

Watch the angel food cake carefully when you grill or broil it. The cake browns very quickly, and the surface can burn just a few seconds after it has browned.
