Creseida, (Cressy) is a 15.2 1/2 h Chestnut Hanoverian/TB mare, foaled in 1980. I acquired her as a green-broke 10 year old in 1990 who had been labelled at one point as "untrainable". Cressy and I worked together, learning dressage and cross country jumping as well as show hunters. Cressy currently lives at Stonehouse Farm in Virginia.
In 1996, Cressy was diagnosed with EPM. She underwent treatment for 21 months, but fortunately she recovered fully.
At age 22 (in 2002), Cressy is still ridden regularly, including jumping. She has all the pep and energy of a 4 year old, as well as the sillies that one often finds in a younger horse. |
