The Fuck Emos- Who would win in a fight between the Fuck Emos and the Hamicks? Its hard to say, but i'm guessing the hamicks would buy drugs for the Fuck Emos before the fight and would then wait until the Fuck Emos were incapacitated before stomping their shit. The Onyas- I have some very incriminating photos of Rich Onya in bed with a local Melbourne Rock Personality. I've also got stains on my apartment floor from the onyas and i'm convinced one of them was using my toothbrush when they were staying at my place. One day I'll post the photos on the internet, but maye I'll wait until after we release the Onyas 7" that we've been promised (anxiously awaiting it boys!). These guys are Punk Ass Muther Fuckers from Australia. If you dig the Cosmic Psychos, The Celibate Rifles or any other Aussie Punk, The Onyas will be your new favs. The Bass player also runs a kick ass label (DropKick Records). |

Nardwuar-Nardwuar the human serviette! Here you can get down and dirty with Nardwuar's band's The Evaporators and Thee Goblins. Nardwuar is fucking nuts and it shows in his music. Plus he's a fan of the hamicks! |

Honky- Servin' it up texas style. Only a band from texas could be so cool. Honky's last show in chicago resulted in a pack of angry femi-nazi's throwing cups and bloody tampons at them (no fucking lie). Lucky for them the hamicks own Arman caught it all on tape and its been released on CD. Check out their site for details! |

The Mistreaters- very greasy punk from Milwaukee. this is the best band i've seen since moving to chicago. you gotta check them out. go to their site for details on records. |

The Fatal Flyin' Guilloteens- If arrogance paid the bills these guys would be living large. When i heard their latest Estrus 7", i decided that if i were to die right then and there my life would have been complete. I really love these guys! Check out their Peekaboo Records Releases! |

The Judys- Anybody who was into music in Texas during the 80's can probably sing 10 Judy's songs right off the top of their heads. The Judys were the epitome of low-fi early 80's new wave. I think all their albums were recorded on 4-track in the living room of a house in Pearland Tx (not but 2 blocks from where my parents now live!). The Strangulated Beatoffs- A freaky spin off from members of drunks with guns. droning guitar riffs that seem to repeat infinitly and tape loops to boot. one things for certain you don't want to invite them to your kid's birthday party. They record for SkinGraft if that tells you anything. i'm not certain if there is an official site but here's another cool one. |

Japanic- Very cool new wave! Reminscent of early gary neuman (i.e. "cars" era), before lame bands like Flock of Seagulls fucked up the whole movement. Drums, keyboards, male/female call and response vocals, and some great fucking gutiar playing. I love their new record "Red Book" and I recomend the shit out of it! |
