This poor sap lost both his hearing and his eye sight in one year.
First, he lost his hearing in an accident down at 'TNT Made Easy.' He was on a tour of the sight when a loud explosion ruptured his sensitive eardrums. He did have to consider himself lucky, though. Had he been on the been on the tour that started right after the tour he was on, he would've been dead.
Then he lost his sight at the hands of Dr. Williams himself. Dr. Williams (whom was supposed to be doing an ear checkup) mistook the eye-examiner with the eye surgery unit. Derek's eyes were half melted when he realized his folly. Derek really doesn't know what happened, so Dr. Williams feels off the hook of the sueing brigade. |
