Living in an unforgiving contemporary society, a young man named Guster searches for beauty in a world of apathy and pain. Abusing drugs to escape his personal hell, along with his companions Ted and Alex, Guster struggles to battle his emotional demons, turning to violence and murder in the hopes of finding his purpose in a cold and shallow world. The aquaintance of Josephine, a young woman of slightly sweeter, but no less morbid disposistion brings meaning to Guster's life. With the arrival of a new job and his first love, he decides to change his ways and turn his life around. Will he succeed, and drag himself out of the depths? Or will he fail and plunge farther into darkness?
