STUFF ON CREED

Creed was formed in 1996, with Mark Tremonti, Scott Stapp, Brian Marshall and Scott Phillips. Later, in 1999, Brian Marshall left the group because of "personal and professional differences."
They have released two albums, one in 1997 called My Own Prison, and one in 1999 called Human Clay.
For My Own Prison, Creed has gotten 4 number one songs; What's This Life For, Torn, One, and My Own Prison. This album is now about 4x platinum.
For Human Clay, Creed has broken through the wall to reach many pop fans as well as rock. With Arms Wide Open, by far their biggest hit, stayed at number one for over a month on the American Top 40. Higher also did very well on that countdown. Human Clay has reached Diamond, the level for selling 10 million records. This is an honor because only a few other artists have ever reached this point.
Weathered, Creed's latest album, released November of 2001, is by far one of the best efforts Creed has ever done. Weathered did very well on the charts and is already certified many times platinum.
Creed's songs have been in a lot of movies. Higher is on the Titan AE soundtrack, What If and Is This The End on the Scream 3 soundtrack, I'm Eighteen (a remake of Alice Cooper's hit) on The Faculty soundtrack, Wrong Way on the End of Days soundtrack, and many more.
