Credendovidis / Tempus-Omnia-Revelat About (Christian) hypocrisy and censorship Thanks to Tom Moore who's hypocrisy article I "borrowed" for some small parts :) A father complained about the amount of time his family spent in front of the television. His children watched too many cartoons, and his wife preferred watching soap operas. What is his solution? He declares, “As soon as the football season is over, I’m going to pull the plug.” Hypocrisy! A hypocrite is one who fakes virtues or qualities he/she doesn't have. Many Christians have succumbed to hypocrisy. Jesus said, “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! (Matt. 23:27) Jesus also said we must beware of hypocrisy (Luke 12:1) Many Christians are hypocrites when they see only the faults of others and refuse to see their own faults. "Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote that is in thy brother’s eye" (Luke 6:41-42) There are many other ways that one can be a hypocrite. Too numerous to mention, and this board provides ample examples of that on a regular basis. Now I am asking myself : who are these Christians trying to kid? They BELIEVE in an omniscuent deity. One who knows everything. But than why try to kid such a deity? So these Christians must be trying to kid others. But that is also hypocrisy! And the Bible warns for that behaviour. People who try to change this board into a "Bible quotation" and "Hallelujah" board should openly state so. Not hide behind chit-chat and irritate others with their un-Christian hypocrisy. So my question (still) is : What is there against asking questions about Christianity interfacing and interrelating with other views and beliefs on this board? Is that not one of the tasks of a Christianity board? And who REALLY wants this Christianity board to be censored to nitty gritty smallminded views and personal interpretations of what is allowed and what is not?
