You can buy full grown bonsais or make your own from plants purchased from nurserys, use plants in 1-5 gallon planter, or make them from seedlings, cuttings or any other propagating techniques. |

| When started your bonsai from a seedling it is best to keep the tree in the ground for the first year of it's life. Then the tree can be placed in a pot with bozai soil (a mixure of sand and soil) and it will mature in about 5 years. |
