The scene featured is based on that of the lift landing on the top level of my HDB block. As I happen to live on the top level of my block, I figured that this would be the most appropriate scene to make. Unfortunately, renovation of the block began some time after I had started work on the scene, so my program represents the old appearance of the lift landing.
The textures are standard 24-bit BMP files with their headers removed, except for the lightmap which was 24-bit, then reduced by taking only one third of the bytes and loading with GL_LUMINANCE(==1). The cement floor texture was downloaded from a Google Image Search result, and the wall tiles are from an actual photograph of the lift. Due to my inability to take reasonably good pictures of the lamp, the lift and the floor tiles, POV-Ray was used instead to create the texture images for these.
