Welcome to my little sheltered bay. It used to be a hole in the wall, but then I changed my mind about it.
A bit about me:
Recently graduated from NTU's School of Computer Engineering (since mid-2006) and looking for work... any game companies got entry level positions i can try?
I'm a Christian (since mid-2002) who goes to Hope of God Singapore
Guess that about covers it for now.
Oh what?...my name? For those familiar with the Old Testament, I'm (King) David's (best?) friend. For the rest of you, it's Jonathan.
Catch y'all another time then.
NEW!31072005 I've set up a games page for a module I'm taking in my final year - SC443 Computer Game Programming.
28102003 Scan of a card designed by one of my church bros for my birthday last year. Sorry if the scan looks a little tilted, can't quite get the angle right. Those who know me: How's the resemblance?
Here are a few links for my (and, if you want, your) viewing pleasure:
Omniglot - a guide to abjads, alphabets, syllabaries, and other writing systems Rather an interesting place for people who wanna know more about various writing systems used around the world. Some visitors have even contributed their own creations. Wow!
Conlang Profiles at Langmaker.com This site is, like, the place to go if you're a conlanger. But even if you aren't ("what's a conlang?" you say?), it's still a kewl place. Go check it out. Many links to other conlang sites.
Ardalambion The place to go for one heck of a lot of Tolkien related stuff. Quenya, Sindarin, the Black Speech of Mordor, and other languages invented by JRRT can be found there.
GameDev.net - all your game development needs or so the title reads. Do note that some of the articles featured require that you are a member of Gamasutra.com. Don't know about the specifics, maybe I'll get to it some time in the future.
