| Kappa Iota Delta seeks to enrich its members and the surrounding community through fellowship, friendship and education. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
KID is a service fraternity made up of third through fifth graders. They must complete five hours of service in order to become a member and end the year with a total of ten hours of service. Members must maintain satisfactory grades and conduct and attend meetings with good attendance. PURPOSE: The purpose of Kappa Iota Delta is for adolescents to work together to achieve three main goals. 1. Develop and share leadership skills. 2. Learn and spread cultural awareness. 3. Design and perform community service projects to benefit their community both near and far. BELIEFS: We believe in moral leadership and service to others. We believe that diversity makes us stronger. We believe that through education and service we can improve not only the future happiness of our members but also the community we live in. We believe that our members should be knowledgeable about the environment and work to protect our planet. |

| Boo Boo Bunnies!!! The signature service project of Kappa Iota Delta is the making of Boo Boo Bunnies. These cute bunnies are made from cotton wash clothes. They hold an ice cube in their bellies and make kids' boo boos feel better. KID donates all of the bunnies they make to area health clinics. To make a donation toward the purchase of supplies for our bunnies, please see the email address below. |
