Leaf 1: The Entrance of School

"And they say they find the school boring...

...But I find this school intriguing...

...For so many reasons, I have only one...

"The richness of life lies in the memories we have forgotten."

"Hey, Kat?" The old man, sitting in front of the fireplace, called his wife. "Yes,

dear?" The old woman said, while sitting down on the chair next to her beloved. "I found

this a while ago... I thought it was lost..." The man said. "Silly Leim. I told you it's just

under the coffee table." Kat said, scolding her husband lightly. "So, what've you found

there."

"Oh, nothing... " He replied, "... just reminiscing the good old times..."

"Seems like yesterday..." Kat replied, "And look at us now. We have our own

grandchildren." The two laughed and giggled as they turn each page and looked at the

pictures inspectively...

The old times... it only seems like yesterday... but it feels so close knowing that it

has been so long...

"Oh God,

I'm soooo

late..." A boy

said while

running as fast

as he can to the

school he's

going in to.

Well, it's his

first time in

this town, so he

haven't had any

chance to look

around. Now,

today's the entrance ceremony for Azumano High School.

And he has only 15 minutes before the ceremony starts.

This boy, around , has short black hair and deep blue eyes, A little muscular for his

age, maybe because of all that running.

"Good thing I made it in time..." The boy said while panting. "Glad you made it...

still late as ever." He looked around to see where the familiar voice came from. "Kat?"

"Of course it's me, silly." The young girl replied.

This young girl, jolly personality, long black hair, vanilla complexion, green eyes.

Very beautiful young girl. She is Leimrey's childhood friend.

"Heh, the alarm went off late." He said, smiling. "That's always your excuse. You

have to buy another one soon."

"Yes, I'll go buy after the ceremony..." He hissed. She was always like that. Well,

I'm not complaining because she cares about me.

I've known her since my childhood. Yes, we were always together. It was quite a

memory we shared. Everyday was so much fun, until the day she left. Her family had to

move. SInce then I never saw her... and I was really surprised when I found out we're going

to be schoolmates...

But we already graduated... I mean, all of us. Now, we're working at the same

school, both of us were teachers. Luckily, we haven't done anything wrong. Everyday was

fine, and I've been really enjoying every single minute I had in this school.

Well, now that school starts in 15 minutes... I believe I should prepare... Kat might

break in any moment now...

Too late.

"Leim? What are you doing? You should've been there minutes ago!" Oh yeah, there

she is again... Kat's always like that, worrywart, but still... she is my friend. "I'm trying to

fix this tie up. Damn, why should these kind of things be so damned complicated?!" She

walked up to me, and calmed the hell out of me. "Would you stop complaining? Here, let me

help you fix that." And she did. I can't help but blush while she fixes up my tie. I don't

know why, but I'm happy she didn't see me blushing, or she'll knock the hell out of my

senses.

"There, it's done. Now, could we please hurry up to the ceremony?" I had no

choice... Oh well, here's my cheer for the incoming students.

Woah, a lot

They really made an

effort here. It looks

brand new!

"Don't

Leim. We need to

prepare. The

ceremony starts in a

few minutes." Kat snapped Leim's attention off from his day dreaming.

"This is the start of a long, long year..." Leim sighed.

Hello and welcome to Azumano High School. This school is not your ordinary school,

as this school has so memories embedded in it. This school had been proven strong from all

of the calamities.

Now, the school, headed by the mysterious being we shall address as "Mr. S". No

one had ever seen him set foot on the school. He's always on the top floor. Well, we can't

say for sure if he's a shady character, but we don't intend to find out, don't we?

Well, there's the faculty. There's a lot of teachers here, I can only name four at the

moment: Kat, Leimrey, Vlaxz and Kefka. I haven't met all the teachers yet, and hell I don't

care. All I care about is the four of them at the moment, since I've been with them for

almost a year now.

Yeah, I'm a sophomore right now. I've been in this school for almost a year now.

Who am I? My name's Carl Zanarkand. There's no need to describe me, really. You don't

want to know more about me. AND IF YOU INSIST ON KNOWING MORE, I'LL PUNCH THE

LIGHT OUT OF YOU!

Ok, so now the school ceremony starts. Oh, it's so boring, but everyone's supposed

to attend. Oh well, it's not like I have anything better to do - well, I don't have anything

else to do at the moment.

"This is the start of a long, long year." I sighed and sat down on my seat as the

school entrance ceremony starts.

name is Kat, and I'll be

handling the Freshman

classes. Welcome to

Azumano High School,

and I hope we get

along!'

In the Freshman class...

"I can't beleive you're studying here too!" The reddish-white skinned boy said to the

girl in front of him.

"I KNOW! It's like... all of us are here!" A long, black-haired girl said, giggling.

"It's been like almost a lifetime knowing you. And I'm so happy we're classmates!"

The boy said. "So, Yvonne, how's lovelife?"

"Well, Kim's a little possessive..."

"What?! You and Kim?!" The boy said in surprise.

"Never mind my lovelife. How about yours, Jerry?" She said, trying to shift the topic.

"Uhh... I dumped my gf just last month." He said with a fake smile.

"Why? She's fine, if you ask me."

"OF course. But, I can't stand her. She's like a mushroom sprouting out of nowhere. I

think she's stalking me every now and then, and it's freaking me out!" Jerry said, defending

himself. "Yeah, if I'm in your situation, I'll be freaked out." Kim said while he entered the

conversation.

"Oh, Kim! How's life?" Jerry asked with his innocence. "Upmost boring."

"Alright class, settle down." The woman said while she enters the classroom in a

fashionable manner. The class immediately ran towards their respective seats not to upset

the beauty that just entered the classroom.

The woman smiled, "Hello, and my name is Kat. I'll be your adviser for the whole

year. I hope we be the best of friends!" She said, widening her smile in a sweet manner.

"So, any questions before we start?"

"How old are you, ma'am?" A young boy raised his hand and asked.

"I'm only 24. And if you would ask further, I'm currently single." She said with a

wink.

woah... she's pretty... Jerry thought while blushing.

"Hey there, blushing boy, have a question?" Kat looked at Jerry.

"I.. uhh... err... uhh... umm... nothing..." After that, he hid his head using the book.

"So, any questions?" Kat said while placing her class record on the table.

"Uh... Why did you decided to teach?" A student asked.

"Hmm.. No one expected that. Everyone else expected me to become a programmer,

a psychiatrist, and even an artist. But no... here I am, employed at Azumano High School

and assigned to teach the Freshman class. Actually, ever since I moved out and lived on my

own, I searched for job openings, but this is the only one available to me. It's not that I

loathe teaching. I think it's a good experience especially because I get to make these kids

better people."

"So why us?" Eno asked with a smirk/frown.

"When I received my acceptance letter from Mr. S, I was quite surprised to see that

I was assigned to the Freshman class. Wasn't I good enough to take on the higher classes?

Didn't he read my credentials? After thinking about it, I realized that he placed me here for

a reason. High School is different from Elementary. Thus, these children have to adjust to

the High School environment. I've been through highschool in this very same school, so I

think it'll be fun." She said with a smile, "Now, shall we start class?" She said while getting

the chalk up and signaled to start their first lesson.

'Good Day, students of Azumano High. I'm Mr.

Kefka Presario, and I will be in charge of you

Juniors. I hope that this school year will be a

rewarding experience for us all and wish that all

students do their best to excel in their studies.

That is all. Good day to all of you once again,

and see you in the classroom. '

Junior Class...

"hi there." a boy with semi-black long hair enters the conversation between to

friends.

"uhh... hi." the boy with the long black hair said. The other boy just ignored the

intruder.

"Are you new here?" This boy asked.

"You could say that..." The long-haired boy asked.

"Me too! Hehe. So, what's your name?"

"It's only customary to introduce yourself before the others." He said.

"Yeah, how rude of me." He giggled. "I'm Magnum."

"Ciel."

"harris"

"wow, a man of few words" Magnum commented.

"less talk less mistake?" Ciel added. Harris decided to shrug it off.

"Haha. Oh, we're seatmates." Magnum said while he looks at the teacher that entered

the room. "Nice meeting you guys."

"Same here." Ciel replied.

And a man, in his early 20s, entered the room. "Settle down class." The class didn't

listen. "SIT DOWN OR I'LL HAVE YOU ALL DROPPED OUT BY THE END OF THIS DAY!"

Instantly, as if on cue, everybody ran as fast as they could to their seats and waited

attentively for the teacher's words.

"My name is Kefka, and I'll be your English Teacher and your adviser. I hope you

obey me until we are through with each other." He said with an evil smirk. The whole class

shruddered. "Questions?"

"Uhh... are you strict?" One student asked. Bad move.

"ME? STRICT? HAHA!" He laughed in a scary manner, which sent shivers down on

everyone's spines. "Any more questions?"

"NO, no more questions!" Everyone agreed on that. Rule number one, don't make the

teacher angry, or face hell. "Ok, so let's start this class with a little flare..." He opened the

book and started the lesson.

Near the end of class, he announced to everyone, "Now, for your assignment, you

need to pass a 5-page story about Kangkong. I don't care how you do it, but be sure to

impress me. Double Line Spacing, font size 12. 1" border on all sides." One student stood

up, trying to complain, "But sir, we can't do that long!"

"Should I make it a 10-page story? Or have it single-spaced, .1" border on all sides

and font size 8?" Kefka said in a 'take it or suffer' tone.

Oh, this is certainly going to be very interesting.... Kefka thought with a mental

laugh.

and I'm in charge of

the sophomores. Hope

Sophomore Class...

"Hi I'm vlaxz your french teacher/Adviser nice to meet y'all" A man in his early 20s

entered the room. He has black hair, lean body. Makes him look like a real teacher, and a

serious one. "So, before we start the formal lesson, you have some questions?"

"Sir, why did you decided to teach french?" A black-haired boy asked while raising

his hand.

"So your name is Yuugi, isn't it? Well, I like french. It's quite an enjoyable

language." He said with confidence.

"So sir, any quotes?"

"Give a fish to a man and you nourish it for a day. Teach a man to fish and you

nourish it for a life"

"Oh, and another note. When I go in class and greet you in french, it means one

thing. Nobody is to speak in any language other than french, ok? If you do, you'll have to

hold on to this glass shot until the end of class, plus you have to sing this song in front of

the class..." He played his tape recorder.

"Oh eggs! So fluffly and so white! I love you eggs, I love you eggs! So fluffy and

white I love my eggs in the morning~! I love you eggs, I love you eggs!" Everyone went

from alive to dead just after the song was played. Vlaxz gave a silent laugh. "So, shall we

begin?"

Leaf 3: Tears Fall...

"When I thought I can't love...

pleasure."

This leaf is dedicated to "Sai" and "Zanarkand"...

"Good morning Class." Sir Vlaxz entered. Good thing we aren't going to speak French

the whole day. I don't want to sing that lousy song EVER. I remembered the last time he

greeted us in French, and someone stupid enough went and answer sir vlaxz's question with

a "What was that?". Hehe, he had to sing it in front of class. I know I was laughing, but I

can't affor to laugh out loud, can I? Of course not. Not only my reputation's at stake, but

also my pride. Hell, I don't want that.

"Anyway, today, we have a new student." He looked at the door, signaling someone

to enter. Who the hell would want to enter this hell hole? "This is Sai Hikawa. She'll be

joining you in class from now on." Another girl in this hell hole. Sigh.

I looked at the girl who just entered. She had this

long black hair, pale skin, and deep blue eyes. I mentally

said 'woah' to myself. She looked at me, and before she

knew I was staring at her, I shifted my view to the

window.

"So, you have questions?" She asked.

"Oh I have one question." Philbert raised his hand,

"From what country were you from? You look like a

foreigner..."

"Well, I'm a Filipino, just like you guys, but I have Spanish blood in me." She smiled.

"Does that answer your question?" She smiled again. She likes to smile, doesn't she?

Philbert only nodded.

"But why Hikawa? Isn't that Japanese?" Philbert pushed another question. "Well, i

can't tell the reason why, but it's really important not to tell anyone about it."

"Now that everyone had their chance [I think so], we'll start class. So, you can take

the seat over there, next to Carl." Sir Vlaxz pointed at the seat next to mine... the vacant

seat next to mine... hmm...

Lunch time. Everyone was gone, well except for me and the new girl. What was her

name? Oh yeah. Sai. Very short. I wonder if she's like the others...

She stood up and went to the canteen. I could feel my stomach rumble, so I

followed. As I enter the canteen, I saw Sai in the front. Time to make some evil reputation.

I slipped past everyone, and in front of her. She didn't mind though.

I looked for a free table, and yes, there was one. But, these girls kept me busy. I

shrugged them off, having the pleasure of enjoying my lunch in solitude. Yup, just me and

my lunch.

I looked to where Sai sat. There was no one eating with her. She shrugs of all the

men trying to sit with her. She didn't even laid her eyes on me. Hmm. Very intriguing...

This is certainly going to be interesting...

3 days have passed...

[Sai POV]

Later that day, Just after class, Carl rushed out of the classroom. I wonder why and

where he ran off to. Fortunately, I had all my things packed and I secretly followed Carl to

wherever he's going. I guess it's out of curiosity.

Hmm... Behind the gym? That's pretty unusual... I sneaked and saw a frightening

sight. I gasped. He looked at me with a death glare. Well, two can play that game! I glared

back at him. Hehe, thought only you guys could give a death glare? No way! Not

everything's played on one team.

[Carl POV]

I gave her a death glare, trying to fear her out, but she glared back. That's when I

felt my hands numb. I looked at my hand, and saw no neck. The poor fellow must've ran

away, not that I'm worrying.

I walked past her, and said, "Don't tell anyone what you saw, or you'll suffer a

tragic fate." But, after three steps, she replied, "I am not afraid of being hurt, for that only

proves nothing. Do not worry, I will not tell, but I hope your conscience proves stronger

than your fists." I was about to turn around, but she already left. What did she mean by

that?

Later that night, Carl was laying on his back on his bed. He couldn't sleep, and the

reason why was big. He was thinking of what Sai said to him.

[Flashback]

I walked past her, and said, "Don't tell anyone what you saw, or you'll suffer a

tragic fate." But, after three steps, she replied, "I am not afraid of being hurt, for that only

proves nothing. Do not worry, I will not tell, but I hope your conscience proves strong." I

was about to turn around, but she already left.

I stood there, trying to look at where she headed to, but failed. I don't know how

she did it, but she left. I decided to shrug it off and go home.

[End Of Flashback]

Knowing that no woman ever fought back at him, he smiled at the thought. "this

woman is interesting..." He continued drifting in his thoughts, as unconsciously, fatigue took

control of his eyes, shutting them close slowly.

I decided to shove every thought of her. I went to school very early. I don't really

know why, but I just felt like doing so. AS if you don't know, I don't like school that much.

A lot of people to hate... many adore me, but I don't find it flattering. I just simply shove

them off politely.

When I entered the classroom, I saw no one except that black haired beauty that sits

beside me. Wait, did I just thought she's beautiful? Oh My Gosh, what's happening to me? It

can't be!

I was so rudely interrupted in my thoughts when a lot of die-hard fan girls tried to

get a piece of me. Oh, they treat me like gold! Now I find it very flattering. I must be dropdead

sexy. I smilled sadistically at the thought of them at my feet, but was thwarted when I

saw Sai not looking at me. I don't know why, but I feel kinda sad or something. Something I

have never felt before.

No woman ever impressed me like that. She's giving no attention to him, unlike all

these girls who are dying just to date him. That gave him an idea. Let's see if you can

resist me... I smirked at the thought.

The days past by, and I decided on being mean to her. Not that I want to, but this is

the only way I could know her. I still want my 'bad boy' reputation that all girls in this

school adored. Hell, I don't want to destroy that. Fortunately, she just shrugs it off. Thank

god.

But these past few days... She's so distant. I wonder why... I feel hurt, like

something important to me went away. Could it be? That I feel something for her? How can

that be?

I had to find out. I had to find out why she's being so distant.

Lunch time. I had to do something. My conscience is killing me! I must've done

something wrong, not that I can't think of anything I've done good. I've always been a bad

boy, but was never accused of anything... so you can't blame me, right? right...

But what the hell did I do wrong to her?

Anyway, since everyone was out, I decided I had to make a move. I went out and

looked for Sai's locker. Hmm, this should be it. I then slipped something inside, hoping that

she wouldn't throw it away. Now that that's accomplished, I went to the cafeteria to get

some food.

Hope everything turns out fine.

[Sai POV]

Just after class, I went to my locker to fix up my things. I have a project scheduled

tomorrow, and I need a lot of books as references. Sir Vlaxz would be so mad if I don't

pass my project.

But when I opened my locker, something fell to the ground. It was a letter, or so it

appears to be. Well, you can't blame me for not noticing in the first glance, right? It's color

blue, my favorite color. I opened it, and read the note inside.

"Hikawa-kun, please meet me at the rooftops at the end of class. I have something

important to tell you..."

There's something in this letter, but I can't put my finger in it. I don't know why, but

I really wanted to follow the letter. I simply took it aside and went to the rooftop anyway.

It's not like I'm going to be raped or something, am I?

I opened the door, but no one was there. I

looked at the sky, the burning light slowly

making its way at the edge of the sky, signaling

the end of the day. I turned around, and walked

towards the door, but someone called my name.

I turned around and gasped, "C.. Carl?"

I don't want to see him. I Don't want to talk to him. He's been mean to me. I don't

know what he wants, but I don't want to talk to him. I like the guy, but all he does is hurt

me. He seems at peace with it, so I decided to shrug it off, but I couldn't take it any

longer.

I had to run.

I tried my best to run to the door, but failed. He had pinned me to the wall. I can't

break free. This is going to be... bad.

[Normal POV]

Carl looked at Sai,

who's head is faced

somewhere but his. He

called her, "Sai. Look at

me." He said those words

calmly, trying not to

startle or scare her. "Sai,

why do you keep distance

with the most beautiful

man?" He said.

Sai snorted back,

"What are you talking about?"

He smiled confidently, " I can impress any woman whenever i want. even you "

Sai fought back with equal confidence, "As if. Now, what do you want from me? Are

your girls not enough to satisfy your cravings?" Oh, so she had to put up those girls who are

dying just to date me. Hell, I haven't even showed them my abs, let alone my naked body,

so that makes me a virgin, right? But I don't even have to ask a girl. I can get anyone I

want, but I don't want that.

Already at the edge of his anger, he blurted, "What the hell is wrong with you? Why

are you avoiding me?" His grip tightened. Sai replied, "You don't like me, right? So I'm out

of your path. I'm not interfering you, am i?"

"Yeah i dont like filthy stenched women who arguably looks like you." He had said

those words before he realized he said them. Until Sai replied, of course. "So that's why

you've been so mean to me."

"Sai.."

"Shut up!" She shouted, making him stunned from the events. "I don't want to hear

your explanations anymore."

"Sai, would you please lis-" SLAP! 'Did... did she just slapped me?' Carl thought.

"I HATE YOU!!" Tears now falling from her eyes like waterfalls. She broke free of

his grip and ran away, leaving Carl on the rooftops, stunned. 'What... what have I done?' He

said, while placing his hand on the slapped cheek, caressing it slowly.

Slowly, the burning light faded, leaving a trail of darkness, now covering the whole

city. But, even with that darkness you can still see his stunned face, mixed with worry and

resent.

"I'm sorry... Sai..."

Author's Notes

You must be wondering why I dedicated this chapter to Sai and Zan. Well, we need this leaf

as a turning point. Forgive me for owning this chapter, but it really must be done. I need to

make a move for the love teams. I am going to make chapters about the love teams, so

please do not kill me for being selfish. We're trying our best here, and I really, really

would appreciate it if you would not kill me... no one will write this stuff if I'm dead.

Leaf 4: A New Life

"...Pierce through the white-dyed night...

...Go on creating a new era...

...With a heart that's been released...

...Fly through the endlessly continuing white night..."

Days passed. As usual i wasn't talking to her. She ignored what had transpired at the

rooftop and continued on with her life. But I just cant move on. I was bothered. Bothered

because 'Twas the first time i was kind of.. "DUMPED".

Then class started. I saw her enter the classroom and headed to her seat. Well since

she is seated beside me. I tried to ignore her. I simply closed my eyes and leaned on the

window. BAD MOVE.

I noticed a strange light. I opened my eyes a little bit and I saw her reflection thru

the glass of the window. She was smiling... and it looks like she was looking at my place.

My eyes suddenly popped open and I accidentally banged my head breaking the glass of the

window starting a commotion.

Sir Vlaxz scolded me that time. Pretty embarrassing considering my reputation in the

class. All of my classmates were surprised that i just took all the words that sir Vlaxz said

and didn�t even tried to answer back. I was too preoccupied.

I even sang sir Vlaxz song ..."Oh eggs.. So fluffy and so white! I love you eggs, I

love you eggs. So fluffy and white I love my eggs in the morning... I love you eggs, I love

you eggs..."

So annoying� I did get a standing ovation to my classmates. I was quite relieved that

they kinda like my voice. But I saw Sai in no means interested on what I just did. She totally

ignored me. I saw her holding a book entitled "Sword Saint." I�m starting to get a little

worried. It was the first time I felt this feeling. I've never felt this. It's like so... So new...

I think this is what people call as "Love." Is this what I�m feeling ?

Nah... I simple shrugged it off and took a nice breath to come to my senses and go

back to my seat.

After Sir Vlaxz dismissed us signalling the end of

class, I visited my favorite Ramen House. Obviously, I ordered

Ramen to satisfy my rumbling stomach. The owner of the

Ramen House has been my friend for a long - long time. I

always come to him whenever i need counseling.

I asked. "What should I do?" I was referring about the

incident that happened at the rooftop.

"Redeem yourself." The Ramen House owner answered.

"How?" I asked, fearing that my methods on enchanting

women are no longer working on her.

"Time will tell. Trust me." The Store Owner replied

with confidence. Haha. I guess the owners right. Only time

will tell, and when that time comes I�m gonna brace myself

for the worst.

After a little while of eating, I noticed that there were some men looking at me.

They were annoyingly smiling at me in a sadistic gesture that I can�t help my self but to

smile back.

Heh, do they think that I�m gonna back down from a fight? They outnumbered me

three-to- one. I slowly paid my bill in the Ramen house, walked outside of the store and

headed to a nice place where I can take care of the three of them.

Well, since they were just looking they did not bother to follow me. They

immediately left the Ramen House after I paid my bills... I was quite intrigued. I calmly

thanked the owner of the Ramen House and headed home.

While on the way, I saw the three men again. This time I got pissed. I hastily chased

the three men but they hurriedly ran towards darkness. I heard an evil laugh after that.

I searched for them but to no avail. I guess they were just ticking me off. I

proceeded to my house to have a nice rest. I was interrupted in the middle of the night. I

thought i was dreaming about that woman; that woman who sits beside me at class� "SAI".

The next morning I woke up quite late. Today is music class and we will be playing

various musical instruments that Sir Vlaxz will personally teach. I hurriedly took a bath and

didn�t even bother to take breakfast. I was walking and about to approach the Music Hall

when i heard a very pleasant tune.

I started humming while on my way to the music hall. "Seems like someone is

playing the Violin." I added. The tune was so melodically impressive that i got excited to

enter the room.

But when I

was about to open

the door I was

surprised on what I

just saw. The person

using the violin was

none other than Sai.

I halted my advance

to the room and

would be tainted if they saw me impressed.

"Guess I'll be skipping class today."

I headed outside and sat atop a tree listening to fine music. Again, I was thinking of

Sai that time. I just can�t help it. After a long while of listening music, I eventually was

carried away and fell asleep.

When I woke up I was on a different place. Not anymore at the treetop... I felt

something around my body. It was tight. Someone tied me in a chair. I eventually came to

my senses, as I already knew that someone has played on me.

I was blindfolded sitting under a chair tied with a rope. "Darn It." I whispered. After

minutes of waiting, I heard a voice. It was quite familiar. I thought i heard that voice

before... From the Ramen House...

"So it seems like the three men spying on me yesterday at the Ramen House." I

spoke.

Then I heard another laugh. That was the last voice I heard. My skull was smashed

with an iron rod and a hard object pummeled me to my chest immediately taking out my

consciousness...

Miraculously, I woke up. In another place. It seemed quite comfortable. I was lying

on a bed. It was kinda soft, I enjoyed lying under it. When I opened my eyes I saw a

familiar face.

"You're awake." She spoke while looking

at me so vigorously.

"Sai.." I added.

"I saw you lying on the riverbanks... All

bloody. Pitiful. That is why I decided to take

you home and nurse you back to health." Sai

replied.

"So you saw my body. HUH."

"Kinda." Sai chuckled.

"What the heck happened?" I asked.

"I dont know. I dont care." Sai laughed.

"I got beat - up by three peons." I answered.

"You call them peons and yet you got served. Avoid popularity; it has many snares,

and no real benefit." Sai quoted.

"You're wrong about that. You will know THAT benefit in the near future. Anyway ,

since when did you pigtailed your hair." I whispered.

"I'm inventing new hairstyles. I'm actually planning on cutting my hair. Hey, why did

I answered that question? Were still enemies right?" Sai answered. Showing some signs of

uhh... something.

"Heh."

'Twas the last word I told Sai. After that, I lightly pushed her to the side and jumped

off to the window.

The next day, I gathered all my courage and for the first time in weeks, I was able

to approach Sai at school. I was surprised on her new look. She actually cut her hair and

shortened it, but she looked kinda� CUTE.

"Hey Sai, I'm sorry on what had happened at the rooftop."

"A coward is incapable of exhibiting love; it is the prerogative of the brave." Sai

preached.

I was kinda shocked. I have to admit it. I easily beat down people whenever I want

to. But since I've known Sai, I've kinda... RUSTED. Hey, she suddenly disappeared. My

Goodness...

During the course of the class, I have exhibited the habit of looking on thru the

window ignoring sir Vlaxz lessons. I saw something funny. I saw the three men that beat me

up at the entrance of the school peeping at women. Darn. If i could just pulverize them...

When the bell signaling for dismissal rang, I immediately ran thru the gate of the

school. It's payback time, but I cannot see the three men. I thought of waiting on the Ramen

House. It was getting darker. I bought a Le Bangag cola to quench my thirst while waiting

for the three men to appear. I've prepared my brass knuckles if I ever see the three.

But I saw a different figure. At the middle of the night, I saw Sai in street clothes

carrying some grocery items. I hid my brass knuckles because she might see it. While

quietly observing her, I found what I was looking for. The three men were beside Sai. She

was suddenly strangled behind and someone carried her legs. It was my cue to �Redeem

Myself.�

I chased the three men who took Sai. The first one approached me and I still

haven�t equipped my brass knuckles. I jumped on the first guy�s back and continued

running. When the two men saw me, they tied Sai on a post and turned their attentions back

to me.

Why the heck I�m still carrying that Le Bangag cola? Maybe that is the problem why

I haven�t equipped my brass knuckles. I threw the bottle to the other guy, It made him mad

and ran. Well, Le Bangag is kinda toxic. I don�t even know why I drink that kind of

beverage. Only one man left. He threatened to harm Sai if i come any closer. BAD MOVE. I

smiled at Sai. Sai knew right when I smiled that I have something in mind.

"Don�t come any closer!" the hooligan shouted.

I ignored the threat and ran towards him. He panicked and ran away. Well I haven't

harmed him yet. So I dashed towards him and knocked his teeth out. After that, I untied

Sai.

"I'm sorry." I stated.

It was all I could say. I turned my back against her and started walking away.

"Wait." Sai called.

I have waited for a chance like this. I hurriedly turned my back and embraced Sai.

She smells so good.

"I'll take you home." I added.

It was the first time I held a

woman's hand. I felt so ignorant. I

could have done that a long time

ago. But I still felt relieved. The

first woman who I embraced, the

first woman I held hands, the first

woman who fought back... and the

first woman who slapped. It was all

Sai. Guess I would be waiting for

the first kiss, huh?

"Your hair looks kinda cute."

I said while looking at her.

"Shut up. I'm still resting

here you see." Sai replied.

"Heh."

I accompanied her until we arrive to her house. She said that I can go now. I just

simply smiled and as I was about to turn around I heard a very pleasant voice. "Thank You."

when I looked around Sai already vanished.

"Gone again... always vanishing mysteriously..." I added.

Leaf 5: Kefka's Wrath

This leaf is dedicated to "The Impresario"...

I remembered I asked those students of mine to write a story. I think it was about

Kangkong. Yeah! I remember it now. I asked them to write a story about KangKong. Maybe

that's a bit harsh, but what the heck, I'm enjoying it! Well, maybe it's a bit harsh... What

am I thinking? Am I going soft? No way...

Time for my daily medicine...

I walked outside, trying to look for a small animal to play with. Hmm... this little

puppy looks innocent... hmm... This gives me quite an idea...

[this part was removed because of the gore and disgusting details.]

Now that that was done, I feel so alive. Bwahahaha. Poor little puppy... What the? I

looked at my dress and it's covered with filthy blood. Stupid chicken. Why can't chickens

be bloodless so that when you cut them blood wouldn't spill?

Oh, don't get the wrong idea. I'm cooking breakfast. Oh, and the puppy... He has his

legs broken. He's out there at the yard, asleep.

Now that breakfast is ready, I ate it as fast as I could and changed my dress. I

hurried to the car and drove to school.

Poor fellas. They kept on blocking my path... and they were flying so high that when

they land they would suffer from broken bones. This day just gets better and better...

Now for school... I had enough time to fix up my terror image. Last check before the

class. I have that white face paint, that red markings... that scary smirk... Ok! Everything's

set up.

I entered class and found them scared. Good sign. Now for the scary entrance. I

walked with that wide smirk of mine. I heard them shiver... I swear, I was laughing inside! I

can't contain it any more, I had to laugh!

And I did.

And it made them more and more afraid... Now they are too afraid to listen to me.

Oh well. 'PASS YOUR ASSIGNMENTS RIGHT NOW OR FAIL THIS CLASS!" As if on cue,

everyone rushed down and placed their assignments on the table.

Quite a sight to see. They're afraid of me. Go Evil Me! The only thing to do is to

have them bow down before me, but I wouldn't want that now... It'll spoil my mood.

Let's enjoy the moment while it lasts... the fun starts in the morning, and never

ends! Bwahaha! Suffer, my students, SUFFER!!!!

Hmm... The class was boring. Sigh. No one dared to speak. Now, afraid of me?

That's nothing new.

Anyway, after class, I walked to my office with those paperworks submitted by my

[s]slaves[/s] students. I looked at the first entry, and smirked. "Legend of Kangkong."

What's up with that? I looked at the second one. "I Love Kangkong." What the hell? You...

you love Kangkong? ARE YOU FREAKING NUTS?

And I looked at the others... What the f**k? What's this? "The Adventures of Super

Kangkong"? BWahahaha! He sure knows how to make a good laugh. Now this is interesting...

[skimming through some parts... it was a 5-page story, and the important part would be

read for you]

And so, as Super Kangkong faces the Evil Lord "Snailug", The princess wishes the

stars for her beloved's safety. Super Kangkong lunges forward to the Evil Lord's castle, and

fought his way to the Lord's room.

Alas, the two pairs of eyes met. Each of them giving death glares to each other.

With no further a due, Super Kangkong lunged forward and used his "Vege-ta-balls" attack.

Suddenly, barrage of Vegetables shaped like balls fell down from the sky like meteors.

Unfortunately, the Evil Lord survived. "You'll never defeat me!"

"Alone I can't, but with the power of everyone who loves KangKong, I will defeat

you!" HE shone with green disgusting light, and in a blast of light, lunged forward to deliver

a killing blow. "Kangkong FOREVA!!!!" Rushing at incredible speed, the Evil Lord Snailug

haven't ahd the time to react, creating a hole on his chest. "Damn you, Super Kangkong!"

And the Evil Lord fell down to its doom.

Once again, the power of KangKong proves strong! Long live Super Kangkong!

The End

Bwahahaha! What the hell was that? That was... so freakingly funny! Bwahaha! I was

laughing at my seat, so hard that my stomach hurts. I don't give a damn if anyone would

hear me, they would know better that I was laughing evilly, and they'll be too afraid to do

anything about it.

"Teacher!" Philbert asked sir Vlaxz. Luckily, the class was able to speak in english.

"Yes, what is it?" Sir Vlaxz looked at Philbert.

"Teacher, what the hell was that sound?" Everyone looked at Philbert, then to Sir

Vlaxz.

"Oh, that's just Kefka. He tends to do that a lot. Don't bother him when he's like

that. You don't want to be the reason for his laughter... and you would want to go home in

one piece.

There he goes again with his freaky laugh... Wonder what's he up to... Jayr thought

while patiently trying to pay attention to the boring class.

Uh oh... another poor fella... poor guy... Narutaki thought.

I noticed that I was laughing for nearly 10 minutes. Oh, that was so much fun. Well,

that's too much humor for a while.

What the fuck? I can't stand up! Must've been from all that laughter... Oh well, I

haven't had so much laugh ever since... I can't remember... Anyway, time to go home now.

Time to feed the animal slave 'pet'.

You must be wondering why I dedicated this chapter to Sir Impresario. Well, first of all, his

avie is Kefka, from FFVI, which is the game's main antagonist. That gave me the idea about

his character, so I adopted it and tried bending it to the story. Also, I made this story for

the humor of my readers. I wouldn't want the mood to be monotonous.

Leaf 6: A Date with Destiny

"Should I not follow you...

... I'll be waiting for you right here...

"A moment to be so memorable would be in the least you expect..."

I'm glad that class of Mr. Presario was over. He's a sadistic man, and I could barely

stand his weirdness. I'm really, really glad that that period was over.

Now's time for my next class, so I walked through the hallways. Unexpectedly, I met

up with Bera. Now's the time to ask her out, or there won't be any other chance. She

might've been wishing for it, too, so I wouldn't waste the chance.

"Anou... Yvonne..." Why am I so... speechless? That's so unlike me!

"Oh, Kimmy! What do you need?" Heh, still sweet as ever.

"Uhh... since we uhh... never mind. I'll go to the point. Would you go out with me?" I

closed my eyes, getting ready for any rejection.

"Of course, silly!" What? "Great! So, how about this Saturday... whole day?"

"Hmm... OK. What time would you be coming?"

"Around... 9 AM. Is that fine?" She nodded. That's my cue. We got so rudely

interrupted by someone I really, really don't like, the hall monitor.

"Public Display of Affection is not allowed in the hallways. Do it somewhere else." I

really hate Hall Monitors. They think they're so great, well, FYI, you're just a student and

after your reign for a day, you'll be beaten up like paper ripped to shreds. Luckily, the bell

rang before I could kill the guy. We had to hurry back to our classroom. I wouldn't want to

make Ms. Kat angry. She's like pure spring water... so divine... We don't really want to

make her sad or anything... That's how we love our adviser.

Hmmm. She's on a nice mood today. We were dismissed early, so I had the time to

walk her home. And we did. Unfortunately, there weren't any bad guy so... I haven't been

able to kick ass in front of her. That's poor, because I haven't shown that I'm mighty and

can kick ass.

Anyway, we reached home... her home. She gave me a peck on the cheek, and I

went home.

Saturday... 7 AM

[Bera POV]

Oh, Kimmy's going to be here in just a minute! Well, I'm already dressed and

everything... so I don't have any more problem. Hmm... I should probably cook, he might be

hungry.

After 2 hours, everything was set into place.

Oh, that must be him. I hurriedly ran towards the door and opened it. Yup, it's him.

"Would you like to come in and have some breakfast?"

"Uhh..." He blushed, "I'd love to taste your cooking!" He entered, and I directed him

to the dining room. We ate happily, and after that we went out to our date.

[Normal POV]

The two first went to the local festival just down the road from Yvonne's house. Since it's a

bit early, only the shops were open. They decided to come back later when the festival goes

alive.

So they went to the park and enjoyed the view. "Want some ice cream?" Kim asked.

"Oh please do. Strawberry please." And Kim went to the ice cream vendor and

bought the ice cream. When he came back, Yvonne was playing with the doves. It was quite

a beautiful sight. "Oh, the birds flew away..."

"Don't worry, they'll come back... eventually." Kim said while handing her the

strawberry ice cream he bought just a while ago. They ate happily...

Kim turned his head, directing all his attention to that little, adorable, black haired

girl that he've fallen so in love with. Even if she was merely licking her ice-cream, he found

this to be amusing. He watched as her tongue displayed a little show of extending, licking

up some ice-cream, then contracting back into her small mouth. She seemed so amused by

just doing this that he felt a little jealous. You're jealous over strawberry ice-cream? It's

because it's distracting her attention from

Kim. How long can he contain himself as he

watched that wet tongue? "Is strawberry

your favorite flavor?"

"No, but it tastes really good!"

"Is that so?"

She pulled herself away from the

ice-cream, then she offered him, "If you

don't mind, you can try some of it."

"Alright then."

She brought the ice-cream to his lips, and smiled. Slowly, He opened his mouth, and

extended my tongue onto the sweet tasting treat that she was enjoying so much. "It's

delicious," but not as delicious as he bet Yvonne would taste.

"You can have some more if you want."

"Sure," And he licked some more. After a few more licks, he let Yvonne finish the

whole thing. Once she's done, Kim stood up, "Want to go to the fair?" She smiled and

nodded.

"Come on, I want to do something fun."

"Like what?" Kim asked as he looked around.

"They have a love boat ride. I want to go on that."

Kim gaped, "How did they even find the place to set it up!"

"You'd be surprised," she tugged on Kim's hand, "Come on; let's go!"

Yvonne pulled Kim out of the grassy yard, around the science wing, and to the gym.

"See, here it is!"

"It's huge!" Kim stared at the large swan boats that came around the corner, stopped

to unload lovers, pick up lovers, and then disappeared into the 'Realm of Love.' "That's a

corny name," said Kim.

"What do you expect? It's supposed to be all mushy. It's a special day." Yvonne had

hearts in her eyes from admiration. "Come on, Kim! Let's ride it, please!"

"Ummm..." Kim wanted to shake his head, but he nodded, instead.

"Yes!"

Yvonne grabbed Kim's arm and tugged him towards the line, but then she stopped.

�What is it?" asked Kim.

"You have to pay." Yvonne turned her head. "There!"

She tugged Kim into another line, "Lemme see. It's twenty tokens per admission but

thirty per couple."

Who would be so stupid to go on solo? Teehee, the depressed kind? poor fellas...

"Two tickets or one for the lover's deal?" asked the man in the ticket booth.

"We want the lover's deal," said Kim.

"Thirty tokens please." Kim handed him the tokens, and the man gave them two pink

tickets as he replied, "You have a good day."

"Thirty tokens! Geez! You know how much money that was? We might as well have

gone to a public one and spent less than that."

"Awe, come on Kim! It's going to be worth it."

They came into the line, and there was a wooden fence between the lines that

separated the guys from the girls. "Don't be sad," said Yvonne, "We'll be able to see each

other in a while," with that, she vanished behind the fence.

And they entered the 'Realm of Love'. Still a lame name... but the ride wasn't really

as lame as the name, but still a close fight... After a couple of minutes in the boring place,

they went out.

Figures, it's already getting dark. "Hey, we have to go back to the festival. I think

it's quite alive right now." Kim said. "Ok!" She jumped happily as he tugged his boyfriend

along to the fair.

"Oh, look at this!" Yvonne points at the rings booth. As if on cue, Kim went and

played. "Thirty please." The owner said. Kim handed him the money, and grabbed the rings.

Luckily, he placed them all with accuracy. "Here's your prize!" The owner handed him a

stuffed elephant, pink in color. "Here you go." He gave it to Yvonne, who hugged it tightly.

"Thank you!" She was overjoyed that she kept on hugging the elephant.

And something caught their attention. It was the festival's annual music jam, and

there's Clair about to sing her song. Kim pulled Yvonne close to the stage so that they

could hear the singing pop idol a little louder.

This road is spreading out

I wrote this for two days, which is a big turn off for me. I was at lost... well, I lost my

spark for writting. And, I don't really know why, but I confessed to someone last night,

well, it's not big anyway, and it's done. I don't regret it, though I feel a little guilty.

Anyway, I think my spark's coming back now because of what happened last night... well, it

concerns me, my cellphone, and my textmates that night. It's up to me to keep it

confidential :D.

Anyway, I hope my spark comes back completely. Kudos!

Leaf 7: The Scandal

"NO mere words can take you away from me...

"Nothing stands in the way of two lovers..."

It seems a normal day passes by as their 1st major exam comes near. Sai is on her

mood to go to school. As she turned to the hallway she noticed a crowded students looking

at the bulletin board. She goes near to find out. A portrait caught her attention. Not just a

portrait, but a beautiful and unique portrait.

It shows a couple in a black and white background of a rooftop that seems she�d

seen before. A man pose in front of a woman as he shut the door close at her back. Sai was

shock as she barely recognize this scene, the scene were she and Carl argue at the rooftop.

It was so clear and exactly detailed that it was recognizably them at all. The portrait of

Carlo was exactly alike while her face was blank and her delicate lip only shown. This is

such an scandal.

Carl also seen this portrait and it looks like he is offended after he read a quote

under the portrait.

"This is an admired man who played a girl."

Carl quickly leaves and proceeds to the room. He wondered why this person shown

this portrait to the public that brought shame on them. It looks like the person is trying to

send a message to him. But why?

The day past and all the student attended a program held in their school auditorium

for the proclamation of the new student council. But the program turned to a mess. A

recorded conversation played on the auditorium. Sai and Carl was shock as they hear their

recorded conversation. But their something change. The tone of the voice of the two were

not really familiar. Maybe the dude responsible for this ridicule had shame, and would want

to keep his arms and legs attached, but still, the whole thing shivered their spines. He

looked at Sai, and she kept silent, seems like she's shrugging it off.

Or maybe she's angry. I'm so freaking angry inside, so maybe she is too.

Class resumed and we had our rest from the entire world. Well, at class, all girls

were giving Sai death glares, and I'm having the same problem with the boys. They were

giving me the 'how dare you play with Sai' and 'we'll beat you up like a pup' looks. Hmph,

as if they can kick my ass. I feel sorry for Sai.

She doesn't deserve this kind of treatment. Hell, I'll kill those girls if they dare hurt

her. I don't care about my reputation anymore, I just want her to be safe, and if it means

killing those girls, then I'll be happy to oblige.

Lunch time. I pulled her to the rooftops to have a little talk.

"Uhh..." Speechless again. I know she still hates me and all, but we need to sort this

scandal out chop chop. "What do you want?" Oh yeah, by the tone of her voice, I could tell

she's pissed off... I hope it's not me...

"We need to fix this." "Correct." What? She agreed? "I believe it's someone who's

really, really pissed off because of us."

"No, I think it's only because of you." Why, was it my drop-dead sexy aura that

pisses off other guys? "Why me?"

"Didn't you read?" She crossed her arms, "It said, 'this is an admired man who played

a girl.' The keywords being the 'admired man' and the 'played a girl'."

She paused, "and you must've known that from the picture that you are the 'admired

man' and I'm the 'girl'." Woah, wait a sec... You mean I'm admired? Oh, that's too much!

Now back to reality. This is bad for my reputation. Whoever did this must've been

so angry at me...

"Carl to Earth, do you read me?" She snapped my thoughts. "So, got the idea?" I

pulled her close to an embrace. "Whoever did this must've been really angry at me. And so,

you need protection."

"And why is that?"

"Because..." Oh, what can I say? "... you're the girl everyone seen me with. And it's

dangerous for you to go anywhere alone."

"I can take care of myself, thank you very much." She broke off from me. "By the

way, we only have 40 minutes left for lunch... and I know you're hungry."

Yeah, stomach rumbling... Damn.

And so, we have agreed that we would lay low for a while. She said she could take

care of herself, so I left her alone, but I still kept an eye at her.

Time to get home. My friend, Magum, helped me on this one. We were keeping an

eye at her. Well, everything was fine until this black van blocked her path and took her

inside it. Of course, needless to say, we rushed to the scene and tried our best to get her

back from those hoodlums, but they were armed, so we have failed to stop them.

But we were able to cling at their backs unnoticed. Then we soon found ourselves at

the outskirts of town... and we stopped following them once we knew where they here

headed. He hid behind the bushes to plot our rescue plan.

There were around four of them, and I think I know someone there. I decided to

shrug it off and clear my mind off of any anger.

[Sai POV]

What the hell do these guys want from me? Money? Me? Oh, that's definitely too

damn precious to give. "What do you want from me?" I asked angrily.

"Hush, beautiful. We're holding you captive." It doesn't take a genius to find it out,

stupid. Oh yeah, thanks for the compliment. "I know that, but what do you want from me?"

"Nothing..." A voice came from behind. "... but revenge!" I don't really recognize the

voice. "Revenge against me?"

"No, but your lover... Carl." What? He's now my lover? That's sooo out of the drama

right now. "What did Carl do to you?" He removed his mask. I gasped.

"Yu...yuugi?"

�That's right." HE smirked, "And your boyfriend broke my jaw. Now he's going to

pay dearly... by using you!" I don't like the sound of that... And seriously, he needs a

dentist. That jaw is broken.

Carl... please help me...

Sai... I'll protect you... no matter what...

And we entered the building. Knocked out the hoodlums [there weren't so many... so

it was an easy job], and rushed to the top floor. Oh, there she was, almost naked, if it

wasn't for the white underwear she's wearing... I swear I could almost drool if it's not in a

weird situation.

[Magnum's POV]

I know this is wrong but, Sai looks so delicious. I know they're my friends, but if Sai

was mine, oh God, I'll drool over her. It kinda makes me want to jump at her right now and

screw her, but I'm here to save my friend.

And so we shall... Hey, where did Carl go?

[Sai POV]

Don't you two dare think of dirty thought right now, or I'll swear you'll be in bed for

months. Don't just stand there, rescue the Damsel in Distress! Huh? Where did Carl ran off

to?

OMG! He punched Yuugi in the stomach! OMG! He flew backwards!

Now, Magnum... untie me now!

[Normal POV]

And Carl rushed to Yuugi, instantly punching him hard on the stomach, sending him

flying towards the walls. Yuugi stood up, and smirked evily, "You can't beat me with crap

punches like you used to kill me with." He looked at Sai, "And now you'll suffer pain...

when your COW dies." He fired a gun at Sai, "SAI!!! NO!!!!" and he ran to Sai. Forunately,

Sai avoided the bullet, but Carl was hit. Blood started coming out. Thank God Carl's still

alive...

But there was another gun fire heard... And it was from Carl's gun... He shot Yuugi!

But, he's not dead, right? "Don't ever try to kill her, or I'll kill you..." He went black.

[Carl POV]

"Magnum! He's awake!"

I slowly opened my eyes. The light burned sharply through my fragile eyes. I kept it

close for a few minutes, and tried opening it again, slowly. Alas, I could see clearly. I was

in a white room, and it seems I'm at the hospital. I tried looking around me, and saw only 1

girl and a boy... They look so familiar... "Sai?"

"Are you ok?" She said. I'm not okay, I'm stuck here in bed.

"Oh, the doctor said you'll be fine tomorrow. So, you need some food." He pointed

at the food at the table. Mashed potatoes, fried chicken, and rice. What the hell? Am I

depreived of food? This stuff wouldn't even reach my stomach!

But... Sai... she looks so tired. "Wait... how long have I been in bed."

"8 days, 22 hours, 16 minutes." Woah, that long? "Are you alright, Sai?" I asked.

"I'm fine. I'm just going to get the doctor, ok?" She stood up and left, leaving me

and Magnum alone. Magnum sat down to where Sai was a while ago. "Trust me, she's not

fine."

"What do you mean by that?"

"She's been crying for that long." You mean, 8 days, 22 hours, 16 minutes? "And she

never left your side. I wonder why she's still fine... I think she, too, haven't eaten anything.

She never left your side. Even the doctors gave up-"

THAD.

There was something that fell on the floor, or it sounded like it. Magnum rushed

outside [duh, I can't stand], and gasped. "SAI!" The doctors rushed her to a room and

examined her.

After a few minutes, Magnum came back. "What the hell happened to her?" I asked.

"She fainted. The doctor said she was in malnutrition. He gasped.

[Magnum's POV]

I gasped when he saw Sai laying on the floor; being in a hospital it wasn't hard to

find a nurse. She was immediately taken to a spare room and placed on the bed.

"Is she going to be ok?" I asked in concern.

"She should be...some people just faint for no apparent reason. But on the safe side

we will perform some tests." She looked down at me. "You can leave now. Thank you very

much" She shooed him back to Carl's room.

"But...what about..."

"She'll be fine; but your other friend's condition is much worse at the moment now

get back into that room!" She ordered. I nodded slowly and walked back to his room. The

nurse returned to Sai checking her vitals; she grabbed a stethoscope and lifted her shirt to

check to her heartbeat more properly. She gasped when she spotted the black and blue

bruises.

"Oh my goodness..." She murmured as she removed her shirt completely to check for

any other injuries. She was shocked to see just how emaciated she was; nearly every rib

was exposed, along with her sternum and collar bone. She grabbed an IV and stuck it in her

arm; then ran to get a doctor, Sai needed proper nutrition and fast.

Sai opened her tired eyes; she looked around the room not recognizing her

surroundings. 'What the? Where am I?' It all came back to her in a flash, 'Did I... Pass out?'

The door opened suddenly and a nurse came in.

"Oh your finally awake." She smiled. "How are you feeling?"

"A little lightheaded..."

"Yes you will for awhile..." She walked over to her and did a quick checkup. "So

where did all these bruises come from?" She asked her suddenly. Sai gulped; unsure of what

to say.

"I was abducted... and that guy over there and his friend rescued me. I was about to

get raped, luckily they came..." Tear dared forming from her eyes. The nurse came to her

comfort. "There, there. Everything will be alright."

[Carl POV]

After a week, we were able to return to our normal lifestyle. We haven't seen Yuugi

for a long, long while, not like I care.

Everything's fine as it is. I thanked Magnum for helping me a lot, really. Plus, we

and Sai are fine right now. Though we haven't had any PDA's or anything.

She's still not over with the whole thing. But, what about the drama at the hospital? I

know she was worried and all... but...

[Flashback]

"I was so worried..." She was crying. I... I was speechless... for the second time.

"They... they tried..." I stopped her. I pulled her close to me for an embrace. "Everything's

over now... I'm here. You're safe..."

"Will you always be here with me?" She asked, still shaking and crying. "I will always

be here for you, as long as you need me."

"Why are you being so nice to me?" She asked softly. I... I was at loss of words. Do

I have to tell her now? Well, it's fine. I have to take the risk.

"It's because..." I gulped and grabbed for air, "...because I love you..." She stopped

shaking. She pulled herself away from me a little. IS she going to reject me? Oh Lord, I

won't bear the pain! Kill me now!

"I love you too..." She snaked her arms around my neck and pulled herself closer to

me. "I love you so much..." Oh, I'm sooo the happiest man on earth.

[End of Flashback]

Okay, so there was no kiss. I don't want to rush things about us. I don't have to rush

it. I have her, and she has me, so what more could we possibly need?

Okay, here she comes... Time to flirt for a while.
