It was a dark night and silence filled the air.. out the darkness a figure of light began to take shape...it was a blinding light that swept across the fields... a nearby townsfolk noticed the light... due to curiosity he ran towards where the light is located... he thought it might be some trespasser posing a joke... yet he was wrong...as he got closer and closer the light became more and more clear... as he approach the figure appears...it was a figure of a woman.... he come to touch the woman.... he saw her face.... it was like of an angel....suddenly he heard a buzzing sound....*buzz* it was an alarm clock..... he got up and turned it off thinking "wow that was some dream"... as got up and prepare for school he kept wondering about the girl " "she looks familiar" recalling the dream.. it was almost 7:00 and he began to hasten his breakfast... and gone off the bus... to school...

Chapter 2: Contact

        As he hurried to school from the bus stop, he bumped into a girl whom he had never seen before.... all their belonging were now scattered across the hallway... he said " sorry miss my fault I was in a hurry"... the girl replied.. " oh its ok, its my fault I didn't notice you...I could've just get out of the way..." the bell rings as a sign that the first period is about to start... during class... he kept thinking about his dream... he was again reliving the dream once more... as he was absent minded of the things around him... a girl came with the adviser of the class... and announced a new student is about to join their class.... as the girl walk towards the front... every one gazed on her, staring breathlessly wondering who is that girl....... for she was an image of beauty and elegance... as the adviser introduced her... the adviser noticed that one of her student seems to be day dreaming.. the adviser said "ahem excuse me young man but are you in this world with or are you in another dimension..." he was surprised and quickly behaved himself and gave his adviser his attention... he didn't noticed the girl in front for he was so humiliated that he was keeping his head down out of sight... the adviser continued " every one meet your new classmate.... welcome her .... " every one clapped with joy.. the adviser continued " now miss please introduce your self "... " certainly ma'am" the girl replied... her voice was so cool and smooth every one listen as if it was a song..., she continued....." I am miss joy and I am your new classmate, sorry for the short introduction but that's all I can say for now" .... everyone gazed at her for she was really beautiful...

Chapter 3: acquaintance

        As the time passed it was already lunch time... all students were hurrying to the cafeteria.. to have snacks and lunch. joy is new in school yet she became an instant celebrity.... yet up until now the boy didn't notice joy... he is still preoccupied with his dream.... then someone came along and called his name.... " JAY !!! dude what are you doing ?"said john the student, john replied "nothing I was just .. chum thinking about something.. what about it john?", jay and john are two best friends since grade school and until they are still classmates... john asked " dude have met our new classmate" with a puzzling expression jay replied " yes but I was busy looking at floor at that time while our adviser just humiliated me ", john acted surprised "you mean you missed her introduction to a floor?? dude no offense but you should have seen her" jay again puzzled thinking that whets the fuss all about the new student... its not like she's an actress jay thought... john pushing his thoughts said " I mean MAN she is really as I would say perfect!!".... yes indeed she was picture perfect.... for she was incomparable to others... she has the perfect white skin... and a simple attitude yet she lack confidence in herself, but jay didn't knew who she is yet he even failed to notice that she sat right next to him.... jay was too busy for himself to notice the girl next to him... as the day had ended well, jay started to pack... as the rest of the class was out jay remained in the room, for it was his turn to clean their classroom... jay started cleaning after everyone has left... he took a broom and swept the floor clean... with his ears plugged in music from his phone.... Mean while joy was half way to the gate.. suddenly she stopped and thought that she might have forgot something he checked her things and found out that her wallet was gone she thought she might have dropped it while arranging her things... she quickly ran towards the classroom fearing that she could not retrieve her wallet... meanwhile as joy was hurrying towards the room jay suddenly noticed a black leather wallet... jay picked it up and look inside to find out who is the owner.... there was no picture of the owner nor a card, but he kept it in his pocket for safe keeping.... for he knows its one of his classmates who dropped it...as jay was leaving with all of his work done... he picked up his bag and ran to the door... as he opened the door suddenly a girl came and bumped into him both of them were on the floor, now jay being a gentleman tried to support the girl to stand up jay looked at the girl as the girl slowly turned her head to look at who she bumped into... jay was mesmerized by her beauty, like the others but more importantly in jays mind is was she ok.. is she hurt... then he asked " miss are you OK " joy replied "yes I'm OK and thank you", jay continued " I'm sorry miss it was my fault I didn't see you coming and...." but joy said " its ok I was in a bit of hurry too by the way have you seen any wallet around because I lost mine can you help me find it ??" jay replied " I think I have what you are looking"... jay reached in his pocket picked up a black leather wallet and said " is this your miss"... joy with a happy expression in her face... said " Thank You so much this is what I was looking for my wallet I couldn't go home without it ".... after the incident jay escorted joy out of school.... as they were walking jay suddenly recalled " hmmm I think I've seen you before " joy said " ohh really where", " I could not remember though.... maybe its was this morning..." jay replied, joy suddenly remembered the guy he bump in this morning... she said" hey are the one I bump in this morning .... sorry about that", jay laugh and said " hahaha ... yes I was right it was you ...." with a satisfying smile in his he smiled...joy thought so too that it was a bit funny both of them looked happy.. as they near the exit... they introduced themselves to each other... jay "may I ask miss if its ok " joy :" ok what do you want to ask....??" jay :" may I know your name ^_^" joy replied " I'm joy and you are??" jay replied " I'm jay nice to meet you joy ^_^ .." as they get passed the gate.. jay started " ohh hey I'm this way got to go ok ...." joy replied" ok and I'm over this way pointing the way " as both parted the opposite direction... both of them cant shake the feeling that they knew each other even before they met....

chapter 4: Premonition

        As each of them part in separate ways... both had a strange feeling of warmth and happiness, as joy got home she immediately change to her pajamas and studied all night... as she was reading a book entitled "English Literature" as she was reading through page 388.. she fell asleep... at 3:00AM she suddenly woke UP still very sleepy.... she looked at her wall clock but she noticed it wasn't moving neither her digital wristwatch sitting on the table.. then she noticed a bright light outside her window... she stared at it and thought of what it was and why is it there.... as the light fades slowly out of curiosity she ran to her window... nothing was there... joy rushed outside from her trying to check what it was.. she was puzzled why did she go searching what it was.... out of the corner just in front of her the a light suddenly appeared, again it looked like as it was earlier only this time it was beginning to take shape.... it looked like a boy was inside the light... as she was about to reach for it... suddenly a noisy background was beginning to close in ... then suddenly she woke up with a bang.... she fell off her desk .... and woke up.... as she reached for her alarm clock... she checked the room for anything out of place... she thought of the Dream was almost real... meanwhile at jay's house he had also got the same dream Over and over again. .. as the morning comes, another day at school and another day of class... jay got up late... but he managed to pull himself together and was almost late for school, on the other hand joy was already at school waiting for the first period to start... as jay entered the room he noticed joy immediately, he was surprised that she was sitting next to him .... joy also noticed jay was in the room and didn't expect he was one of his classmates... for she was only new and she didn't know all of her classmates yet,, at the moment they were staring at each other as if their the only ones in the room... they stared at each other as if they met for the first time... as the ring of the bell signals the start to the first period all was well they enjoyed each others company in silence.... as the class starts... with both of them sitting next to each other..

Chapter 5: Conversations

        All day jay and joy kept staring at each other... between their seats... feeling shy at each other... a feeling of discomfort now surrounds them, yet they maintain poise and doesn't affect of how they act or speak to each other the following class jay and joy sat separate ways... they don't know why but they have the feeling they have to.. for both of them was guilty of their feelings to each others... at lunch time they sat next to each other, then jay started " so uhhmm, joy where are you from?" joy replied" I'm from leyte in a town called Isabella, we used to live there", "ohh so your from leyte why did your family loved here?" jay asked, " ohh that, actually we were just visiting some of our relatives here, but it was already too late for me to enroll my self in leyte and besides my mom misses the city." joy replied, "so you mean your mom lived here?", jay replied looking surprised, joy said" yes, actually my whole relatives lived here.. how about you?", jay replied" me I lived here since I was in grade school... then we moved... and back again. anyway I'd like to ask you something...may I?", joy was suppressed for the sudden question joy hesitated to answer " uhhmm yes what is it?", jay asked " uhhm I know this is really very awkward to ask but....." joy was beginning to feel very uneasy her heart was racing fast... and jay continued" can you help me about this one?" jay showed his notes... joy opened it she was surprised of what she saw.... it was a drawing book... there were lots of amazing sketches.. and drafts... jay continued talking" I just needed your opinion... an honest and intellectual opinion coming from you... I just wanted to know if my works are good enough...." joy stared at his works.... " wow these are magnificent...sketches.. I didn't know you know how to draw..." joy said with amazement in her face, jay continued" yes I am a bit of an artist but my sketches lack something... I want to know what I'm lacking that's why I need your opinion", joy examining the sketches then she said " well to tell you the truth, I don't know how... but all I can say is these are good sketches... I cannot criticize your work though since I'm not an artist,,"... jay put up a smile and said" thank you for honest opinion...", both of them really enjoyed each others company their feeling of discomfort and uneasiness disappear... both of them now enjoying a nice conversation.. with each other.. as if time had stopped of a moment .....

Chapter 6 Promise

        As days turn to weeks and weeks turned to months, jay and joy became much closer to each other, jay would wait for joy every end of the class and walk her home, and joy always looking for jay when she wanted to go home as if she feels more secure and safe with jay beside her, one evening in the month of February, valentines was closing in and jay was confused on what to do... for he wanted to tell joy the three big words from his heart... he's been thinking a lot on how to say it to joy but he didn't have enough courage to do so... he was UP all night trying to figure out what to do... the next day during class, again both of them sitting next to each other and a smile that both of them recognize... jay greeted joy " good morning... joy... " joy replied " same to you good morning jay," then she noticed there was something different with jay she asked" jay are ok?" jay was puzzled by the question that he look at himself and said " yeah I am... why did you ask?" joy replied " you seem to have gone through a lot of stress lately.." jay answered with an unconvincing voice" stress? no I was just studying.. for exams and be ready for quizzes... " but the truth was he was up all night just planning... after the class... joy had gone off to the library to study... it was lunch break at school and jay was already at the cafeteria having lunch, still his thoughts was on how can he tell her... meanwhile at the library.. joy was looking for a specific book and something unexpected happened...... she bumped in to a guy carrying books.... and both of them fell on the floor... as joy struggled to recover the books the stand up and offered joy a helping hand, as joy turned her head to see who was the guy... she was mesmerized for the guy she had bumped was the known campus crush and heartthrob Ralph... as joy reached her hand to Ralph's hand jay suddenly appeared... the moment was awkward... jay felt his heart sand and broken to pieces as he saw the girl he loved was holding another guys hand... joy immediately let go of hers.. and ran towards jay.. but jay was already out of sight as she turned... jay ran toward the roof top, feeling hurt for what he had saw... frustrated and mad... he keep on repeating to himself " we are just friends no need to react" but behind his mind has asking why am I hurt??, joy was surprised if the way jay reacted and at the same time she was worried... she had gone after him but she had no luck of finding him... the rest of the passed and there was no sight of jay anywhere... she waited but jay didn't come no one saw jay leave the school ground ... jay was still on the roof top... thinking and trying to get hold of himself... meanwhile joy was on her way home alone... when she suddenly noticed that there was someone on the roof top... as the night sky revealed the light of the moon she recognized who it was... she rushed to the stairs and run off to jay as fast as she could... as she was almost near the top she hesitated to talk.... they were just looking at each other ... as if they were talking with their minds... jay turned to look at her closely... he walked towards her.... hold her hand and hugged her.... joy hugged him back as tight as she could... there was silence as if time had stopped.... both of them really had no need to say anything for their actions was clearly saying " I love you and I will never let you go"

Chapter 7 Plans

        The following day, both of them seemed to be full of energy, both jay and joy were on high spirits, and it seemed that the day wouldn't get any better than this, all throughout the whole day of class both joy and jay smiled at each other every time their eyes met, everyone else in their class was wondering... "what's up with these two" the whole class was puzzled by their actions, for it was not ordinary... during free time... john along with jay headed to the faculty office john whose so eager to know asked jay" jay may I ask, what's up with you and joy" jay was hesitant for a moment to answer then he said" you'll see... " john gave a disapproving expression " what does that mean " again jay smiled and said" just wait and see, its not yet the time to tell, may some other time", john who seemed to understand finally said " ok sure no secrets here mate, ok " jay replied " yeah no secrets" as he smiles to himself... meanwhile back at the classroom all the girls seemed to be curious and asked joy " hey joy are you and jay going out or something..." joy immediately answered " NO, I mean no..." her classmates seemed not to believe her, because in reality they never did go out on a date, but her classmates seem to be more interested in details but joy denied them of the truth, as valentines day was approaching both of them planned secretly on what to do... jay was organizing a date for both of them, jay took a part time job just to make joys valentines day a special day, while joy was busy practicing how to cook... joy wanted to cook for jay, she knows that jay loves to eat ... both of them cant sleep for they are doing their best to make each other happy, the following day in school during their free time both seem tired yet their day was full of smiles, but then jay noticed that joy was not feeling well... he asked" joy are ok ? should I call a nurse or escort you to the clinic...?" joy nodded and said " no need I'm ok now I'm just stressed out I think....." jay looked so worried and said" ok if you say so, but I want you to rest ok" joy feeling so secured replied with utmost sweetness in her voice and whispered" thank you my love"...jay smiled and hold joys hand tightly... as he purses her hair gently, none of them cared how the people looked at them as for jay, joys condition was more important than others, during class both of them would fall asleep every now and then, both of them were up all night trying to plan a special valentine for their love one,

Chapter 8: couples

        As valentines day approaches, jay and joy became more restless, during classes they both looked stressed out and have no energy yet they can barely keep up with the class, during a free period john suddenly posed a joke and asked jay a very interesting question john whispered and asked " hey!, jay what are you and joy up to lately? I mean both of you seem to be tired lately.... you and joy didn't.." but before john could finish jay replied immediately with a stressing voice "NO! what makes you think I would do that?! " john replied with an unconvincing expression to his face" nothing its just that.... both of you seemed... nah never mind about that..... so what are you plans?" jay was puzzled to what john had meant and asked " plans? for what ? " john moved closed to jay and replied " you for the BIG NIGHT !? " jay " ahh, its a secret you'll know when its done....", Meanwhile joy is at the library again studying for an upcoming test, every now and then guys would glance at her trying to ask her out for a date she spotted one group that keeps on pushing a boy to get close to her. without thinking twice she left, and have gone out the door, through the hallway leading to the infirmary, inside infirmary she met the school nurse, the school nurse said " hello ?" the nurse stared at joy for a moment and asked her " not feeling well ? " joy replied " not really just hiding from someone " the smiled and said " well you have come at the right place, no, one bothers to see me anyways, except when they are sick.." joy smiled and said " ohh can I hide here for a moment, its our free time and many those guys are really bugging me" nurse " ohh sure anytime, well might as well sit here" she pulled a chair for joy to sit " so that we could talk more effectively" the nurse then remembered "ahh it was you the other day feeling well now?" joy replied " yes a bit restless but ok" nurse " ahh was that your boyfriend with you the other....?" joy hesitated to answer because both of them never did admitted that they love each other they only showed through actions.... through out the entire free period joy has she spend it talking to the school nurse, at NOON everyone seemed so tense for tomorrow would be the Big Day for all f them everyone of them is talking about preparations and what to wear, what would they look like... some student are even busy decorating the school ... as jay and joy passed to a couple of students suddenly a boy steeped out in front of both of them and asked " joy may I talk to you for a moment?" it was Ralph who asked , jay suddenly felt his heart sank his hand clenched tightly, an expression of discomfort within him, in jays mind it seem that he could not allow this guy to live as if evil himself is within him, it was the feeling of jealousy.... joy noticed it within him, joy replied "I'm SORRY but if you would want to ask me something you could discuss it with me and my BOYFRIEND!" every one was surprised.. suddenly the devil inside jay was washed away by joys words... Ralph then replied" sad I didn't knew you and jay was this close to each other, and I didn't believe both of you had a relation ship" Ralph walked away with disappointment.... through out the talk of joy and Ralph's encounter spread through out the school.... as the day ended nobody even dared to ask joy out on a date.. and as for jay finally they can call them selves a couple without denying the truth...
