| SALES POLICY | ||||||||
| WAITING LIST-To be placed on a waiting list for upcoming litters, just e-mail your name, what color you are wanting, and what gender to [email protected]. We will be sure to notify you when new litters are born. Kits will be offered in the order that we receive requests. This is a no obligation waiting list. | ||||||||
| DEPOSITS-A 50% non-refundable deposit is required for us to "Hold" a rabbit and the deposit must be received within 10 days of the buyers e-mail with intent to buy. After 10 days if the deposit isn't received the kit will be released for sale again. This rabbit must be picked up in a reasonable amount of time, no longer than 2 weeks from when the deposit is received. If you are unable to pick up within two weeks let us know in advance and we will work out arrangements. After two weeks if the owner has not notified us of when the rabbit will be picked up, it will be sold to the next buyer. | ||||||||
| REFUNDS-Refunds will only be given in the event that we are incorrect at assessing the gender of a kit at 4 weeks of age and we have received a deposit on it already, if the kit dies before it is weaned, or if malocclusion occurs BEFORE 4 months of age. After 4 months malocclusion is NOT from genetics but from an injury. All are rare circumstances but possible. The buyer can request a replacement rabbit instead of a refund if one is available. | ||||||||
| KITS-Kits can be picked up once they are 5-6 weeks old, or later if we don't feel they are ready to be weaned. We accept deposits on kits once they are assessed for gender and color around 4 weeks of age. If a deposit is placed on a 4 week old kit the buyer will have until it is 8 weeks old to pick the kit up, which is two weeks after the kit has been weaned. | ||||||||
| PRICES AND DISCOUNTS-Our prices are based on many factors including the F-generation, quality, heritage, etc. Prices will start at $25 based quality and pedigree. A 10% discount is offered to 4-H members or to those purchasing 2 or more rabbits from us. | ||||||||
| SHIPPING/DELIVERY-We do not ship rabbits and only deliver rabbits if it works with our schedule or we are already traveling in that direction. In the event that it is not somewhere we are already traveling to and we have the time to deliver it then our gas to and from must be paid for. | ||||||||
| OTHER INFORMATION-Occasionally we have kits that will be sold as "pets only." This is when a kit has a trait that doesn't make it a great quality Lionhead, i.e. color mismark. These Lionheads will be sold as pets at a discount without their pedigree. If you want their pedigree with them then we assume you will be using them for breeding purposes therefore the price will increase to reflect this. Please realize Lionheads are a relatively new breed of rabbit so it cannot be guarenteed that they will keep the length or density they show as kits into adulthood. It is even possible that they loose their manes completely after molting. It is also possible, however, that their manes will come back in even more dense than it was originally.
