The Sweat Shop.
This quilt was made by my (Joan Novak) Great Aunt Hanna, born in 1890,, who had lost her arm as a child in a farm accident.
Lucky Sue Lynn, she inherited this beautiful quilt.
Connie Long and Joan Steel works hard getting all the programs ready.

When Sue Reisner was to announce the winner of the miniture Crazy Quilt, drawn from the names of the member who worked on it, she read the winning name and squeaked,"ME!"

Creative Quilters held their annual Christmas party at the Citrus Hill Country Club on December 13. Patsy Jenkins recited a quilting poem by Linda Powell and the members sang the refrain to the tune of �These Are A Few of My Favorite Things� Two of the mini groups, The Under Cover Girls and The Quilters in the Woods, displayed their group challenges.

Creative Quilters had a cold, dark start to the Holiday Arts and Crafts Festival in Inverness. Up before the sun in 38 degrees, bundled up with all the clothes we could get on, we set up the 2007 Raffle quilt.
The day got warmer
and the tickets sold like hot cakes.
The Creative Quilters took the 2007 Raffle quilt to the Quilt Show in Brooksville on November 25 at the Hernando County Recreation Center. It was a beautiful day to be outside chatting with quilters and others interested in quilting.

On Wednesday May 24th Creative Quilters welcomed Louise Robinson who, with her friend Noreen Sulivan, presented a program on Ricky Tims Convergence quilts. Working with her and her well thought out 10 step instructions, the quilters made the beautiful and unusual quilts. For the challenge, each participant was given a fat quarter of fabric, which was black with white Spider Mums and was to create a wall hanging with all black and white fabrics and a splash of color.
