The first thing You'll notice is the Star of Satan. I'm not a satanist, but I include this image as a physical incantation of my agreement with the main ideas of satanist philosophy. I'd also like to add that the star of satan actually has little to do with Black magic, or voodoo, or any other sinister act you'd be quick to associate with it. The satanic bible is actually an insightful read, with far more potential in modern day humanity than the tellings of common religion.
On this page I wan't to introduce two concepts I find amusing and inteesting. It's up to you to use this information and links as you please. The first interesting read I've had in a long time is that from 'A coffeecentric history of humanity' and I found it more than plausible that yes, coffee industry and trade over the past millio years has had a huge impact on the flourish of many prosperous cultures now lost, such as ancient Morocco. Certainly, the Italian people, some of the most inspired, creative and healthy people in the world, are heavy coffee drinkers. It's no coincidence that South American history is full of revelation and wisdom just as it was centred largely around the cultivation of coffee beans. Perhaps it's worth serious investigation in psychology and Anthropology, or perhaps it's just a thought that you wont consider further..but it does lead on to the next interesting theory I have been fortunate enough to learn of and enjoy researching. In this case, the implication of many halucinogenic drugs and their early interaction with prehistoric man that is of question. Many 'psychedelic' substances such as natural LSD agents, Mescaline, 'Magic' mushrooms, Elimicin, Myristicine, MMDA, and MMA, will have existed post ice age, and it is very likely that prehistoric man, unaware of the dangers of such drugs (but soon aware of the uses) will have consumed them at some point and later shared a stable relationship with the profound chemicals we are more educated of today. All of the above substances have profound biochemical, neurological and psychological effects on the human brain-it is equally likely that this was so for the ape-like brain of the neandarthal. The suggested substances, to name a few of many, have been shown to affect and even mutate areas of the brain such as the Left prefrontal lobe, Thalamus and Parietal Lobe that all have influences on spirituality, personality, and emotion-factors of humanity we now take for granted and are sources of 'higher' thinking in psychology. It is therefore quite possible that human development from a simple ape like brain to those of today has been largely due to complex interaction with such chemicals in the past. Again, it (for me, anyway) provides a fascinating topic for research. If this is the kinda stuff you're into, check out the 'EROWID' link. So, if that seems plausible; what would happen if the use of all psychoactive substances was dissalowed across humanity- would our neurological, psychological and generally 'human' development come to a standstill? As it says on the Mudvayne LD50 album:

"we are an ape with a symbiotic relationship to a mushroom."
