Sound files are located on the internet. It is best to locate the sound file first and download it before trying to actually place it into your web page.
Capturing the Sound Files from the Internet
1. Locate the sound file on the internet.
2. Place the mouse over the image and right click.
3. From the floating menu, choose Save Link As.
4. In the Save As dialog box, locate the Save In window. Click the upside down arrow to the right of this window and choose where to save your sound.Caution: Remember where you have saved your sound file. You will be required to supply this information into the Character Properties dialog box. It is recommended to save the file in the folder which "houses" your actual web page.

To Apply a Sound to an Image on Your Web Page
1. Click on the graphic once to select it.
2. From the Insert menu, click on Link.
3. Click on the Choose File radio button.
4. Click on the upside down triangle to the right of the Look In window and find the location of your saved sound file.
5. Click on the sound file name once and be sure it appears in the File Name window.
6. Click on the word Open at the lower right of the dialog box, then click Apply and OK/Close.Always be sure to Save your work after you apply a graphic or sound to your web page.
