     Ever since the introduction of science fiction into cinema and the sighting of the first UFO in this world, numerous films, articles and documentaries have been written on one particular topic. And that topic is "Do Aliens really exist?"

       The most popular "Alien" movie being E.T. Indians not being left behind we also released our very own "Alien" movie( thanks to Rakesh Roshan.... and by the way Hrithik- good job in the movie)- "Koyi Mil Gaya"

        All these have raised one question in the questioning mind...... do aliens really exist? Is there someone out there in this universe other than us? Are we alone in this universe?

       There are hundreds of people who have dedicated their lives to find answer for this very question......... numerous centers dedicated for this one task.....

      What is the answer then? Well the truth is out there and yet it is unknown to us. Moulder and Scully of "The X files" fame have really popularized these questions among the public.

     I believe that there is someone out there. I mean look around us. By the order of nature or natural selection ( or what I would like to consider God's work ) , there are countless species in this earth itself- each of which different and suited for their live styles. And among these species there are sub sections. For example consider humans.......... a person from India would differ from a person from America in skin, hair etc.

    There is a reason why everything in this world is unique in its own way. Scientists call it survival of the fittest.

    Whatever the reason let it be nature God or whatever..... if that could make sure that different species are there and among them different types, wouldn't that itself have made sure that the human species is not the only all powerful in this universe. And by the process of natural selection wouldn't there be some other species in some other place which is much better than us or at least equal to us?

   There is another reason for my thinking this.

   There is some sort of logic in which everything is created. Even if it is random that is even a sort of logic.

   We know our earth is one of the planets in our Solar System which is part of our very own Milky Way. There are millions and millions of galaxies out there. Couldn't there be among these galaxies at least a few similar to Milky Way. And in those similar galaxies, couldn't there be a system like ours.... at least a couple. And then in those systems couldn't there be a planet like ours? The Universe is so large. It is hard to believe that there is no planet in this huge universe which is similar to EARTH.

   Another reason why I feel that there is someone out there is......

   Look what we humans have done to earth. Pollution, murders, ozone layer depletion...... If God is there( which I believe is there) God would not have been so stupid as to keep us humans alone as masters of the universe. God would have a back up plan. Look around. For every smile there is tear.... For every flower there is a thorn and vice versa.... For someone who has so carefully created this earth.... God surely would have something up the  sleeve just in case we messed up things...... 

  Maybe I am being stupid or could be just plain wishful thinking..... but I do believe someone is out there......someone who is watching us make mess of the earth and just when we think it is all over...... he will show himself..... and then we will buckle up and life will start over again.

  So maybe it is not aliens.... then surely  God will be the one to show us the errors of our ways.....
