Gimmick; What the hell? Isn't El Kabong Jr supposed to be Rude Boy? Who's the real
who? Since day one everyone and his mother have been convinced that Rude Boy and El Kabong
Jr were one in the same, and Kabong himself did nothing to dispute those rumors, other
than flat out confirm them. But with Rude Boy's debut at the April 2nd Genesis, what's the
real deal going on? Is he suffering from yet another multiple personality crisis? Or is
this part of a larger plot...or, considering the perpetrator, joke? Although both men deny
being one or the other, one thing is for sure...the Original Smart Ass is back to his old
tricks in Creation Wrestling...and that includes kicking ass, taking names, and making
obscure pop culture references with the best of them!
History; Rude Boy has been in the professional wrestling business since his
1997 debut in the RWA. Since then he has appeared in several different federations, both
corporate and independent, and has won several titles. However, it was his start in the
PWA that garnered him the attention of fans and critics alike. After winning the Pacific
International Title within weeks of his debut, Rude Boy proceeded to dominate the PWA,
gaining him a fan base that he would carry with him even after dropping the title to be
promoted to the IWF, the PWA's parent company. Rude Boy went on to become one of the
company's most successful stars, setting record title reigns with the Xtreme and Brutal
Desire Championships. All this, however, paled in comparision to his victory of January
1st 2002, when he won the IWF Championship in a massive Battle Royal, making him one of
only two Grand Slam Champions in the history of the federation. These victories came at a
costly price, however. Due to deep psychological problems, Rude Boy began to turn his back
on both his fans and his brother/interviewer, 'Sexy' Steve Sanders, subjecting him to
months upon months of abuse, until poor Sanders was finally rescued by upcoming IWF star
Eraser, the man who would end up taking the title from Rude Boy at a later PPV. Obsessed
with both beating Eraser and gaining his title back, Rude Boy's personality changed
completely, and he began calling himself Daniel 'Superstar' Sanders. Aligning himself with
fellow cheats Glamorous Grant Keaton and Mindy Malice, and calling themselves The Elite,
the self-proclaimed "true" superstar would never regain the title again. He
would, however, regain his self-respect, as it would be discovered that he was in
actuality a split-personality, that somehow gained dominance over Rude Boy's psyche. The
true personality, The Original Smart Ass, would free itself from the 'Superstar' and make
a comeback that would be spoiled by his former teammates, Keaton and Malice. Since then,
Rude Boy has teased both a comeback and permanant retirement...but it would appear that
the Rude One has chosen wrestling over exile, perhaps his one last chance to prove to his
fans and himself that he still has what it takes to make it on top!
Entrance Theme; "Get Free" by The Vines
Entrance Description; The lights suddenly go out, and the opening guitar rift to
"Get Free" by The Vines hits. The lights all turn to a solitary figure on the
rampm with his back turned to the ring. The fans, however, know exactly who it is and
start cheering and screaming as the Original Smart Ass - clad in a leather jacket and Ray
Ban sunglasses - spins around and holds out his arms in the air, as blue pyros go off from
the ramp. The lights come up and Rude Boy takes his time going to the ring, high fiving
fans on the way. Halfway up the steps to the ring, Rude Boy tosses his glasses to some
lucky fan and enters the ring. He climbs a turnbuckle and holds his arms in the air for
the fans to cheer, then goes to the opposite corner and repeats this action, to the same
overwhelming reaction.
