Wednesday 19th
March
Live from the Skyreach Center, Edmonton,
Alberta
The Genesis preview tape plays with footage of last weeks main event. We hear Robert Purcell and Dean Nathaniel's commentary from the main event as El Kabong Jr manages to avoid elimination by Seven, eventually winning the battle royal for a shot at the Creation Heavyweight Championship! The video ends and a bright turquoise firework drops from the heights, crashing onto the stage and exploding, igniting a pair of wires and leading to the top corners of the titantron. Sparks explode upwards the length of the wires, and as they hit the top three fireworks race between them and towards the sky, exploding over the crowd and bathing the arena in bright white light. The lights come half on as strobe lights begin to flash around the arena, the fans standing in unison and making as much noise as they can!
Dean Nathaniel; Welcome to the Skyreach Center! Creation Wrestling is in Edmonton, Alberta, on the road to Origins! We are just eleven days away from the pay-per-view, and tonight we find out who will go on to face El Kabong Jr for the Creation Heavyweight Championship! Ten superstars will hit the ring, but only one can walk out victorious!
Robert Purcell; El Kabong Jr better be making notes!
Dean Nathaniel; I'm sure he will be, but he's gonna have a lot of them! There are 10 superstars entering that ring, all equally capable of making their way to Origins! Particularly the likes of Dustin Cage, Blade Arkhan, JX Lighthouse, and not forgetting the hot favourite to win tonight's match, Bane! Bane's gameplan didn't quite work last week, and El Kabong Jr lives to fight another day, but will Bane be the man he fights?
Robert Purcell; I sure hope and think so, Dean. If it's entertainment you want, look no further. Not only is the man a menace in and out of the ring, he's got more personalities than Jim Carrey!
Dean Nathaniel; That's not saying much, Robert. Nonetheless, Bane is definitely the man to watch in tonight's contest, and no doubt the rest of the participants will have a close eye on him! In the meantime we have four matches to bring you, and we kick off with two of last weeks battle royal losers!
The lights around the entrance dim as jungle sounds fill the arena, accompanied by images of Brazil on the video screen. "Roots Bloody Roots" erupts and tribal light patterns swirl across the entrance, before turning to yellow and green strobes as Marcello Dias and Angelina walk out onto the top of the ramp. Dias locks his eyes on his opponent, before taking off down the rampway and diving into the ring, holding the ropes open for Angelina. Angelina poses on one side of the ring as Dias assumes a Capoeira stance, psyching himself out for the beginning of the contest.
Dean Nathaniel; It'll be interesting to see how these two men approach this contest. Seven has gotta be filled with a lot of confidence following the battle royal last week, when he came within a whisker of that elusive title shot. Dias, on the other hand, has a bit of pride to restore.
Robert Purcell; Unfortunately for him, Seven is not the kind of man you want to be facing when you do it.
"Stupify" by Disturbed hits and the lights in the arena go out. Flames burst up from the entrance ramp, and Seven walks slowly down to the ring, concentrating focus on his next 'victim'. He gets onto the apron and steps over the top rope and immediately goes after his opponent, prompting the match to start. Dias reacts quickly and ducks under a shot, heading for the opposing ropes, and immediately taking Seven down with a hurracanrana. Seven gets back up and walks right into a Japanese armdrag, then back up and into a monkey flip. Seven rolls through and stumbles back into the corner, and Dias charges in quickly. He nails a shoulder to the midsection of Seven, then springs back to his feet and delivers a monkey flip! The crowd cheer Dias as he continues the speedy offense, following up as Seven stands to his feet. He runs over quickly, attempting a clothesline, but Seven ducks and catches him around the waist, planting Dias with a spinebuster!
Robert Purcell; He soon put a stop to that!
Dean Nathaniel; That was a dominating spinebuster from Seven! Even after all that quickfire offense from Dias, Seven just caught him in mid move and planted him into the canvas! That was sheer brute force on display from the big man!
Seven takes a moment to recover himself, before covering Dias for a brief count of one and a half. He stands back up and drags Dias to his feet, lifting him up in a bearhug, and charging him into the corner. He delivers a thumping elbow to the skull of Dias, before walking him along the ropes and whipping him across the ring. Dias ducks another attempted clothesline from Seven, but as he returns he finds himself smack on the end of a big boot! The foot catches him square on the chin, and Dias hits the canvas with a smack as Seven doesnt hesitate to make another pin. Dias gets the shoulder up again.
Dean Nathaniel; Dias is gonna have to work hard to pick off a victory in this matchup. Each time he gets up a head of steam Seven just stops him in his tracks, and with some authority.
Seven stands up, unphased by Dias' reluctance to give it up. He picks Dias up and tosses him into the corner, working the body with a combination of jabs, and adding the final touch with a huge uppercut. Dias flies up with the impact, almost falling over the top rope, but he rests across the turnbuckle and the surrounding top rope as Seven climbs onto the apron. He walks over to Dias and grabs his head, delivering a strong elbow across the throat, before gauging his fingers into Dias' eyes and dropping to the floor, raking them painfully. Dias grasps his face in pain and drops to the canvas, Seven climbing back up onto the apron.
Robert Purcell; Look at the relaxation on Seven's face. The man hasn't so much as broken a sweat, and there's Dias, rolling around on the canvas like a little girl!
Dean Nathaniel; While I wouldn't necessarily go that far, I must admit Seven has certainly been the boss of this contest. Dias has barely had a look in, and it seems Seven is more than content to take his good time winning this match.
Seven picks Dias up and stands him in the centre of the ring, delivering a kick to the gut. He bounces back into the ropes and looks to deliver a running DDT, but Dias snaps his head out of the way, and Seven drops to the mat, with some impact. Dias takes advantage quickly, standing to Seven's side, and hitting a standing moonsault. The fans begin to cheer Dias on once more as he watches Seven pick himself up slowly, allowing the man time to get to one knee, before hitting the ropes. Seven doesn't have time to react as he stands up, and Dias catches him by the head on the run, delivering the Retorcer. Dias rolls over into a quick cover, but Seven continues to show his authority, powering out of the pin very early in the count.
Dean Nathaniel; Let's see if Dias can keep control here. Seven has been in the driving seat for the most part, but Dias has fashioned an opportunity to wrap this contest up, and he's going to have to stay focused if he's going to take it.
Robert Purcell; Well this may well be the wrong way to go about it.
Dias gets back up and scales the inside of the second rope, watching Seven pick himself up. He dives off the top rope with an attempt at a missile dropkick, but Seven sidesteps the move. Dias sails through the air and lands flat on his back, as Seven lines up his next move. He grabs Dias and sets him onto his shoulders, preparing for Retribution, but Dias manages to squirm out of his grasp, landing behind him. He moves quickly into the Teia de Aranha, sweeping Seven to the canvas and locking in an Octopus hold. Seven manages to drag his arm away from Dias' grasp, breaking free before Dias can manage to inflict any damage with the submission hold. Both men get up quickly, Seven getting the better of an exchange of punches, following a dizzying blow.
Dean Nathaniel; Seven powered out of that submission pretty quickly. He may not wrestle like a National champion, but if anything, he has shown some great awareness.
Robert Purcell; Quality speaks for itself, Dean.
Seven backs Dias into the ropes, throwing him across the ring, but Dias counters. Seven counters again, flinging Dias towards the outside, but the Brazilian holds on, landing on the apron. Seven charges forward with an attempt at a spear, but Dias springs over the top rope, rolling into a sunset flip. Seven resists Dias' attempts to drag him down to the mat, instead trying to stamp on his opponent's face, but Dias rolls out from under him. He gets back to his feet in a flash and delivers a forearm to the back of the head, and another, and another. He dropkicks Seven in the back, springing him backwards, before catching him around the neck in a sleeper hold. Before he can force Seven to the ground, the big man counters with a forceful flick back of the skull, butting Dias in the forehead. Seven turns around as Dias stumbles, grabbing him by the neck, and delivering a powerful chokeslam!
Robert Purcell; That's it. Dias is done and dusted. Pin him, bring on the next victim.
Dean Nathaniel; Don't be too hasty Robert, I think Seven wants to rubber stamp this one!
Seven resists the urge to pin Dias, instead dragging him to his feet. He puts Dias in a front face headlock, as he signals to the jeering crowd for the finishing manoeuvre. He prepares to swing Dias around, but the Brazilian counters with a quick rollup! Seven is startled, but the referee does his job quickly, counting the one, two, three! Dias quickly rolls away, standing outside the ring as Seven sits up, looking around bemusedly, and quite irritated by his failure to wrap up the win!
Dean Nathaniel; Well well, so much for done and dusted! Seven has just been completely outwitted by Marcello Dias, and the Brazilian has stolen one!
Robert Purcell; Typical of Dias, that. If you can't win a match honourably, why bother?
Dean Nathaniel; Well he sure as hell didn't cheat his way into the win, Robert, but even he has to admit that for a few moments of that match, he looked in big trouble. Unfortunately for Seven his dominance may, inadvertently, have lost him this matchup! I think he was lulled into a false sense of security following that chokeslam!
Seven thumps the mat angrily as we head backstage, where we see a group of people crowded around in a semi-circle; the majority appear to be ring assistants, roadies, although there are one or two referees gathered in amongst the crowd. Most of them are waving money about. As we move in we see Ethan Sebastian standing in the middle, a chart pinned up on the wall behind him, and a bag full of money tied around his waist. Jeff Maverick approaches.
Jeff Maverick; What's going on?
Ethan Sebastian; Hey Jeff! We're not really up to much, I'm just running a little sweepstake for tonight's battle royal. People are placing bets on who'll get eliminated first. No-one seems to have plumped for me yet though, funnily enough.
Jeff Maverick; Okay, which of you assholes betted on me?
Ethan moves aside, looking away and whistling as Jeff inspects the chart. He spots his name and checks across to see the people that placed a bet on him. He turns to Ethan angrily, and Ethan turns around, smiling innocently.
Jeff Maverick; You betted on me?
Ethan Sebastian; Well wouldn't you have? Just look at those odds! You're 2 to 1 on!
Jeff walks away in annoyance, and Ethan chases after him. A couple of guys step up warily and quickly put their names next to Ethan's, taking cash out of their pockets. Ethan quickly walks back over and snatches the money, reaching up and grabbing the chart. He walks off, apparently not noticing, and the two guys breathe a sigh of relief as we cut back to the main arena.
Dean Nathaniel; I guess Ethan Sebastian isn't quite as intimidating as he would have hoped!
Robert Purcell; Yeah, well we'll see who's in the money come the end of the night! By the time we're done Ethan Sebastian and Jeff Maverick could well be on their way to a big payoff at Origins!
Dean Nathaniel; That may well be the case, Robert, but they're up against some stiff competition! This is not a game they're going to be able to cheat their way into winning! But I understand we have Emma Hanson standing by!
As we cut to the backstage area we see Bane, Billy The Brilliant and Kris Kraven sitting in their dressing room. The Bane-Shees 'We Put The Laughter Into Manslaughter' banner hangs from the ceiling. Below, Kraven and BTB are locked in an engrossing game of Snakes And Ladders as Bane strokes his chin, looking into thin air.
Bane; We can't fail tonight, Shees! Failure is not an option!
At that moment a knock is heard on the dressing room door. Bane walks across to open it, but Emma Hanson pokes her head around the door. The Bane-Shees turn and glance towards her, and Bane steps back.
Emma Hanson; Hey, any chance of an interview?
Bane; Well, I suppose we can take a moment out of our heated discussion! Come in, my darling! Come sit on my knee!
Emma walks a little into the room, wary as the three of them stare at her. Bane pats his knees, somewhat creepily.
Emma Hanson; It's quite alright, I'll just stand here...anyway, tonight is a big night for all three of you. Bane, you have the chance to go into Origins, to compete against El Kabong Jr for the Creation Heavyweight Championship. That is, if you can claim victory in tonight's battle royal main event. And as for you, The Bane-Shees, tonight you two have a second chance of going into Origins with a title shot at stake! A Tag Team Championship match is on the line when you face Jack And Johnny!
Billy The Brilliant; That's right, Miss Hanson! Tonight is a brilliant oppertunity for us all here at Bane-Shees HQ! Tonight we really get the chance to stamp our authority on Creation Wrestling! Me and Kraven will destroy the team of Jack And Johnny with ease, and as for Bane, well, he'd tell you himself that he'll brilliantly claim everyone in the battle royal as a tortured soul!
Emma Hanson; Even Chris Cairns?
Everyone turns to Bane, who frowns sulkily, folds his arms, points his head upwards, closes his eyes and stays silent.
Emma Hanson; Whats wrong with him?
Billy The Brilliant; Oh, he...um...he's just lost his voice!
Emma Hanson; He was talking fine a minute ago!
Billy The Brilliant; Anyway, it's been all about tactics, tactics, and more bloomin' tactics here in Bane-Shees HQ! We have everything planned out tonight, right down to the very smallest detail! Nothing will go wrong tonight, Emma! I can assure you that everything shall run smoothly, everything shall run brilliantly! We will not fail tonight, Emma! I can promise you that!
Emma Hanson; That's great...so where's Chris Cairns anyway? He's usually hanging around with you lot!
Billy The Brilliant; Oh, he's...around. And don't worry, no matter what happens here tonight, Bane and Chris Cairns will always be everyones favourite sadistic family. They'll never break up. They go together like glitter and glue!
Bane; I wanna be glitter!
Emma Hanson; So, would one of you care to sum up the evening in one word?
Billy The Brilliant; Yes! It'll be brilliant, Emma! Brilliant!
Emma turns and walks out. Billy and Kraven resume with Snakes and Ladders as Bane stares at Emma's ass. We are taken back to the commentary table, where Dean Nathaniel has something of a smirk on his face.
Dean Nathaniel; I guess all is not peaches and cream down at the home of The Black Circle!
Robert Purcell; Nonsense, it's just a little spat! Chris Cairns and Bane have more on their minds than to worry about something small, you'll see! Just wait, come the battle royal, they'll stand together in victory!
The scene cuts to backstage, where Emma Hanson is stood with Enclosure. Melissa is stood with a grin on her face, while Dustin sings Mmm Bop. Emma looks at Dustin, shaking her head, before turning to Melissa.
Emma Hanson; Melissa, you left us all on edge after the last episode of your show, 'At Home With The Cages'. So now that we are moments from the main event, could you reveal to us your 'cunning plan'?
Melissa Cage; Well Emily, I've kept it a secret, even from Dustin. But I guess now is a good a time as any. You see Enid, my plan is this - as soon as me and Dustin disperse of the opposition in our battle royal tonight, we simply jump over the top rope at the very same time, landing on the floor simultaneously!
Dustin Cage; That's it? That's your cunning plan? For god's sake Melissa, use some of the brains you were given.
Melissa Cage; What? What's wrong with my plan? It's flawless! If we get to the end we simply jump out, therefore making the title match a triple threat, which then means we can double team the Ping-Pong guy! It's pure genius!
Dustin Cage; And how do you suppose we decide who wins the title match? That's assuming they even allow it to be a triple threat match! By playing more board games? Please!
Dustin walks off down the corridor, and Melissa chases after him. Emma stands around looking quite bemused, and we hear Melissa shouting to her brother as they walk away.
Melissa Cage; Hey! We could always pin him at the same time! Just think, we'd be the first ever brother and sister to share a title! We'd make history! Dustin? Dustin!
As we head back into the arena, the crowd cheer as "Offend In Every Way" by The White Stripes hits, and Commissioner Kennedy Wilson walks out onto the stage. He walks to both sides of the stage and raises his hands up to cheers from the fans, before heading down the ramp and rolling quickly into the ring. He walks to three sides of the ring, taking a moment to absorb the atmosphere of the fans as they continue to cheer, before his music dies and he takes a microphone up.
Kennedy Wilson; Good evening to everyone in Edmonton!
The crowd pop, inevitably, dying down quickly, as Kennedy doesn't hesitate to continue.
Kennedy Wilson; But ladies and gentlemen, tonight I come to address yet another title issue. A couple of weeks ago myself and Justin England took care of the Creation Heavyweight Championship, but now my attention has turned to the International title. You see, there are so many superstars in this federation that deserve a shot at the Heavyweight gold, but fate - amongst other things - will not allow. And so, with that in mind, I have come up with a plan.
Robert Purcell; I hope it's a good one.
Kennedy Wilson; Eight superstars will be entered into a random draw following tonight's battle royal, and next week, we will have four one on one matches. The winners of those four matches will move on to Origins, into two semi-finals, and the winners of those two semi-finals will compete on that very same night, for the Creation Wrestling International title!
Dean Nathaniel; That's not a bad plan, Robert!
Robert Purcell; I've heard better.
Kennedy Wilson; But before anybody wins the gold, you'll all get a good look at the belt. Not here today, no...when it's hanging fifteen feet above the ring, in a ladder match!
The fans cheer, and Wilson looks around, smiling at their reaction to his announcement. He puts down the microphone and stands back up as his music plays. He climbs onto the apron and looks out at the fans, acknowledging them with a wave and a handshake here and there as he walks back up the aisle.
Dean Nathaniel; Now there's an announcement, if ever you wanted one! A ladder match at Origins!
Robert Purcell; Some people are gonna have to start practising how to fall!
Dean Nathaniel; Indeed they will, Robert! But with the International title out of the way, it's time to turn our attentions to the search for Tag Team glory! The Bane-Shees are set to take on Jack And Johnny in a moments time, and after the events of the last couple of weeks, there can be no clear winner - that is, if Bane keeps his nose clean!
Robert Purcell; I think Bane may well leave this match down to the Shees, but if the events of the last couple of weeks are any guide, that may well be a mistake!
Dean Nathaniel; Well we're about to find out!
Blue and red lights flash in beat with "(A) Touch Sensitive" by Super Furry Animals as Jack Impact and Johnny Foreigner walk out. Jack Impact stands with his hands in the air as Foreigner waves around the flag of China. They walk to the ring side by side as Jack Impact smiles a weird smile, and Johnny Foreigner looks on unemotionally. They climb in the ring, and Jack Impact paces around as Johnny Foreigner looks into the crowd, awaiting the bell.
Robert Purcell; Look at these idiots coming down the ramp. This is the third week in a row they've been on TV, and it'll be the third week in a row they get their asses beat. Why don't they just go home?
Dean Nathaniel; How can Foreigner go home? It changes every week!
The lights flicker on and off as a haunting piano melody plays softly out of the loudspeakers. The tune comes to an end and the lights go red as "Breath" by Prodigy blasts out of the sound system. Billy The Brilliant appears from behind the curtain to a chorus of boos. He spits and taunts at the crowd, who let out a small cheer as Kris Kraven appears. The two men walk down to the ring, looking focused as pyro goes off behind them. BTB slides into the ring and jumps around as Kraven rolls in and looks out to the crowd with a confused look. The lights return to normal and the music fades.
Robert Purcell; Now this is more like it! Heres a pair of clean-cut guys that I like, guided by the absolute genius that is Bane...and Chris Cairns, naturally...to a degree...kind of.
The bell rings, as Foreigner elects to start for his team. Billy and Kraven discuss strategy with Bane in their corner, before turning around and flattening Foreigner with a double clothesline.
Robert Purcell; See Dean, I told you Bane was a genius!
Kris Kraven decides to start the match for The Bane-Shees, stomping on the fallen Foreigner, before dropping an elbow, with 300 pounds of weight behind it, into his sternum. With the wind driven out of him, Foreigner lies on the mat, clutching at his midsection, until Kraven gives him a hand in getting up, just so he can take him back down with a scoop slam. He tags his partner, and Billy climbs to the top rope, waiting for his opponent to rise. Eventually, Foreigner gets to his feet, still dazed, and turns right into a diving cross body for an early two count.
Robert Purcell; And that, Dean Nathaniel, is why they call him 'The Brilliant One'. Did you see the air on that cross body?
Billy remains on the offensive with a dropkick to his grounded opponents side, and then hits a rolling neckbreaker on him. With Foreigner going nowhere, Billy tags Kraven back in, before locking Johnny in a full nelson. Kraven unloads a couple of punches to his midsection, then leans back to deliver a final strike to his unprotected face, but at the last second Foreigner drops down. Billy takes the punch right to the face, sending him staggering around the ring, the crowd laughing as he suffers at the hands of his own partner. Kraven watches his partner, ignoring his opponent as he gets up from the canvas. Foreigner rises and tries to rally a comeback with a couple of forearm shots to Kravens back, only for him to turn around and flatten him with a clothesline. Again Kraven peels him from the floor and drives a fist directly into his heart, following up with a headbutt which sends him back down. The crowd jeer The Bane-Shees, rallying support for Impact and Foreigner.
Dean Nathaniel; The Bane-Shees are dominating this matchup in the early going, with some smart tactics. You think those are from the brain of Bane or Chris Cairns, Robert?
Robert Purcell; Well what else would you expect? It's no wonder they're on the back foot, with great little combinations like that one from Kris Kraven there!
Dean Nathaniel; It'd be better if you were on the receiving end of it!
Kraven picks his opponent off the mat once more and tosses him into the corner, before charging in and delivering a clothesline. Foreigner staggers out and collapses in front of Kraven, who looks down at him, before locking in a surfboard stretch. Foreigner screams in pain, and seeing his partner in the predicament, Jack Impact finally makes his way into the ring. He runs over and dropkicks Kraven right in the head, breaking the hold. As the referee orders him out of the ring, Billy The Brilliant steps into the ring, slapping his hands together in the sound of a tag as Bane drags Kraven out of the ring. Seeing a potentially defeated opponent, Billy rushes in. He hits the opposing ropes and rolls forward, attempting Tossing Medusa, but Foreigner rolls out of the way at the last possible moment, and Billy smacks into the mat spine-first.
Dean Nathaniel; Come on, Foreigner, you need to make the tag and you need to make it now!
Johnny Foreigner just manages to evade the entering Kraven, and gets the tag to Jack Impact, who explodes into the ring. He clotheslines Billy down, then dropkicks Kraven out of the ring. Billy comes running over and takes a backdrop that elevates him high above the ring, once again landing him on his back, before Impact hits a quick legdrop and makes the cover, only for Kraven to reach in and put Billy's leg on the ropes. The fans jeer, and Impact looks at Kraven angrily.
Dean Nathaniel; Oh come on, that's a low tactic if there ever was one!
Robert Purcell; And it still works, because referees never learn. Then again, judging by the way JX Lighthouse lost last week, this match could easily be over already!
Impact argues with Kraven briefly, allowing Billy to creep up behind him and take him down with a backslide, but Impact's feet touch the ropes before the move is even finished. Billy gets back to his feet first and delivers a kick to the stomach, finding Impact in the perfect position for the Brilliant Bomb! He lifts Impact high, only to take a chopblock to the back of the knee from Foreigner, and he drops Impact with minimal force. Impact gets up first, with Billy clutching at his knee, and drags him over to his corner. He quickly applies a leglock to focus on the injury, before dropping an elbow, then getting back up and sinching in a leg grapevine.
Robert Purcell; What a boring tactic. It's no wonder Jack And Johnny aren't fighting at the top, you can't win these big matches with stupid moves like the leg grapevine.
Foreigner makes it back to his corner, and Impact tags him in. Foreigner grapples Billy on the mat, before lifting Billy up and onto his right shoulder. He plants Billy with a powerslam, and the fans cheer as Foreigner picks him off the canvas again. He signals to the crowd and looks to hit the Universal Language of Pain. He lifts Billy into position, dangling his head over the canvas, but BTB wriggles out of the move and lands on his knees. He takes the opportunity to low blow Foreigner, followed by a stiff DDT for a close two count!
Dean Nathaniel; What a low tactic that was!
Robert Purcell; You think that's low, wait until you see fish-hooking up close for the first time.
Billy slaps Foreigner on the canvas, before lifting him back up, but Foreigner explodes up and sets up a Mandible Claw. Before he can take Billy down to the canvas for an attempted submission victory, Kraven runs over and punches Foreigner right in the face, breaking the hold. Billy reacts by catching the blinded Foreigner around the waist and dragging him over to his own corner, placing him in a Tree of Woe. He tags in Kraven, who immediately charges in and hits Peace Of Mind to the defenceless Foreigner, focusing on his midriff with the thumping hit. Foreigner remains upside down in the corner, reeling from the impact of the spear. Aiming to inflict further punishment, Kraven backs up and aims to repeat the move from a longer run-up, making it more devastating, only for Foreigner to rear up in the corner. Kraven runs shoulder first into the corner and Foreigner rolls back, spinning around and pinning Kraven's shoulders to the mat for a quick one, two, shoulder up!
Robert Purcell; How did he just do that?
Dean Nathaniel; You tell me! That was certainly more acrobatic than most people would have anticipated from the big man!
Foreigner catches his breath on the canvas, and slowly gets to his feet as the referee checks on Kraven, who plays possum briefly, luring Foreigner in, before delivering a thumb to the eye! The fans jeer as Foreigner spins around straight into the awaiting Billy, who deposits him across the ring with a huge belly to belly suplex! Billy dives out of the ring quickly as Kraven gets to his feet and runs over to cover, but Impact puts a stop to it with a double axe handle. The referee ushers Impact out as Kraven takes the opportunity to pick Foreigner up. He thinks for a second too long, allowing Foreigner to lift him up and front suplex him, dangling his legs either side of the top rope!
Robert Purcell; Think about the future generations of the Kraven family! The world needs Kraven to breed and make it a better place; otherwise we'd be overrun by hundreds of Johnny Foreigners!
Dean Nathaniel; In retrospect that might not be such a bad thing.
Kraven dangles on the top rope, as Foreigner quickly crawls over and tags in Impact desperately, for the second time in the match. Impact runs the ropes, only for Billy to grab his hair and toss him to the mat, before shrugging off the referees accusations of interference. Meanwhile, Kraven, still feeling the effects of the suplex somewhat, drags himself over to his corner and makes the tag. He rolls out of the ring in some pain as Billy takes Impact down with a jawbreaker. Impact bounces back up and Billy grabs him by the head, running it across the top rope, before smashing it into the turnbuckle. He makes a short run-up and rolls him up from behind for a two count, resting his feet on the ropes, but Foreigner manages to break up the count. Billy gets up quickly and goes toe to toe with Foreigner, the two trading punches as Impact picks himself up. The referee struggles to keep track of the legal men, allowing the match to flow as Jack And Johnny double team BTB.
Dean Nathaniel; Jack And Johnny taking advantage of the numbers game late in this matchup. Now is the time to take advantage, with Kraven nowhere to be seen!
The twosome deliver a double suplex to Billy, standing up quickly and acknowledging the fans as they hint at the finale to the contest. They lift BTB up and whip him into the ropes, Foreigner catching him in a flapjack position, and Impact hits the ropes himself. He sets up to hit a facebuster, but Kraven grabs him by the foot, dragging him out of the ring. The distraction takes Foreigner's eyes off the ball, and Billy rolls him up, holding the tights and gaining the one, two, three! Billy dives out of the ring quickly and meets Kraven on the other side of the ring, the twosome departing quickly, but not without a few words of gloating.
Dean Nathaniel; Dammit! The Bane-Shees have won this match! Jack And Johnny's unfortunate run continues on, but Billy and Kraven are going to Origins with a Tag Team title shot!
Robert Purcell; All is well in tag team wrestling!
Dean Nathaniel; With the help of a degree of cheating on behalf of The Bane-Shees! They may well be on their way to a championship matchup, but this is no proud victory for the two of them.
Robert Purcell; I beg to differ Dean, they look very proud, and I'm sure Bane is proud of them too! And damn well he should be! The Bane-Shees have just shown the world that they don't need Bane around to guarantee success!
Dean Nathaniel; They certainly did stamp their authority on that contest for the most part. Their methods in doing so ae hardly commendable, but the fact is they have got the job done tonight and they are on their way to a title match. The same can be said for El Kabong Jr, who is set to take on Nationwide in a moments time. Not many people have given Nationwide any chance at all in this contest, and I would have to agree given El Kabong's current 'form', so to speak.
Robert Purcell; Don't discount Nationwide, the man has been around for a long time. He knows the ins and outs, Dean. El Kabong Jr hasn't had a title shot, at least in this fed, but Nationwide has prevailed in situations much more tense than this.
The lights flicker until there is darkness around the arena. A dark figure appears on the video screen and the sounds of footsteps echo throughout the arena. "King Of My World" by Saliva begins to play out, as smoke rises on top of the stage. The lights flicker on and off again as the figure of Nationwide walks through the smoke, with a sledgehammer in his right hand. As he walks down the ramp, he looks out into the crowd and begins to trash talk as he climbs up the ring steps and enters the squared circle to a hostile reception from the crowd.
Dean Nathaniel; Nationwide isn't exactly popular with the fans, is he?
Robert Purcell; Nationwide isn't popular with anyone! Rumor has it that he was the only person in his high school class not to be invited to the school's most popular girls birthday party, for fear that if he drank too much he would start attacking random people with sledgehammers! But who cares? You don't need to be popular to kick ass!
The opening riff of "Hate To Say I Told You So" by The Hives hits the PA, and the crowd jumps to its feet and cheers as El Kabong Jr is seen running through the crowd, wearing his wrestling gear and a long red and black jacket, his family mask design embroidered onto the back. He jumps over the guardrail and slides into the ring, holding out his arms in a crucifix as pyros explode from the ringposts. He removes his jacket and awaits the bell.
Dean Nathaniel; El Kabong Jr certainly is one of the rising stars here in Creation Wrestling and that's justified because, as we all know, he is the number one contender to the Creation Heavyweight Championship. But just who this man really is, is still a mystery!
Robert Purcell; Shut up, it's bell time!
The bell rings, and both men fly at each other from opposite ends of the ring. Kabong hits NWD with a flying cross body, and gets back to his feet quickly, followed by Nationwide. The two men hit each other with a flurry of lefts and rights, before Nationwide gains the advantage with a right jab to the eye of Kabong. NWD whips his opponent into the ropes and upon his return, El Kabong is smashed into the mat with a hard belly to belly suplex.
Robert Purcell; One point to Nationwide!
Dean Nathaniel; That belly to belly suplex was delivered with a hell of a lot of force and impact!
Nationwide picks up El Kabong, but the cruiserweight squirms out of his grasp and elbows him in the face, before grabbing his arm and taking him down with an armdrag. Nationwide sits in the middle of the ring, holding his arm in slight pain, as El Kabong JR bounces off the ropes. Kabong hits the sitting Nationwide with a powerful low running dropkick to the head. Nationwide lies sprawled out in the middle of the ring as El Kabong climbs up to the top turnbuckle, bringing the fans to their feet. Kabong tries to finish it early as he flies off the turnbuckle with the El Kabong Special Splash! Camera flashes go off all around the arena as Kabong flies through the air, but Nationwide rolls out of the way at the very last second, sending Kabong slamming into the mat! The crowd let out a sympathetic groan as El Kabong rolls around on the mat, holding his ribs in agony as a grinning Nationwide gets to his feet and taunts the crowd.
Robert Purcell; Oh, that had to hurt! Funny though!
Dean Nathaniel; Nationwide has a chance to gain the advantage here, and that seems to be worrying these fans!
Robert Purcell; NWD already has the advantage! NWD! NWD! NWD!
Dean Nathaniel; Please!
Nationwide picks El Kabong Jr up and drills him into the mat with a DDT, before quickly climbing to the top turnbuckle himself. Perched on the top rope, NWD gets the crowd riled as he signals for the Wake Up Call. Nationwide gets ready to perform the move, but is stunned as El Kabong flips to his feet! Kabong runs over to Nationwide and springs up the turnbuckle. NWD tries to punch Kabong down, but Kabong grips him and brings him flying off the turnbuckle, and crashing into the mat with a huge frankensteiner! The crowd cheer the move as Kabong Jr attempts the pin, but NWD gets his shoulder up just before three!
Dean Nathaniel; Close!
Robert Purcell; But not close enough! It's gonna take much more than that to put NWD away!
Dean Nathaniel; A spectacular move by El Kabong Jr nonetheless!
Kabong picks Nationwide up and whips him into the ropes, but the quick thinking NWD manages to hold onto the ropes. Kabong runs at him, but gets back body dropped out of the ring for his troubles. Kabong is sent flying through the air, before hitting the arena floor with a sickening thud. Nationwide takes some time out to rest, before climbing out of the ring and going for Kabong. Nationwide puts the boots into the lower back area of the grounded El Kabong Jr, before picking him up and whipping him hard into the steel steps. Nationwide waits as El Kabong slowly gets to his feet. NWD keeps his distance until Kabong is back on his feet, before running at him and hitting him with a spear, which sends him right back down to the floor. Nationwide picks up the hurting El Kabong and rolls him into the ring.
Robert Purcell; I think it's just been proven to us all that El Kabong isn't as polished a brawler as Nationwide! NWD knows how to use even something so simple as the arena floor to his advantage! Nationwide is one sadistic man, and if he keeps this up El Kabong Jr will be lucky if he even makes it to the pay-per-view!
Nationwide stalks El Kabong as he slowly gets back to his feet, using the ropes for support. NWD comes up behind El Kabong and grabs his mask, and pulls him into the center of the ring. After a brief struggle, El Kabong Jr takes Nationwide by surprise, and sends him into the mat with a Russian legsweep.
Dean Nathaniel; I think Nationwide was trying to remove the mask there, Robert, and he very nearly succeeded!
El Kabong Jr quickly gets back up and hits the ropes with a springboard, scoring with a legdrop. Nationwide reels from the move, and El Kabong Jr seizes a quick chance, heading towards the turnbuckle. He scales the ropes one by one, coming to the top, and diving off with the El Kabong Special Splash! He drops onto Nationwide, bouncing away with the sheer velocity of the move, before rolling back and making the cover, and the fans count along with the one, two, three!
Dean Nathaniel; El Kabong Jr made light work of Nationwide in that contest! He just proved to us all just why he is the man of the moment right here in Creation Wrestling!
El Kabong celebrates, climbing the turnbuckle and posing for the appreciative crowd, before doing the same thing on the opposite side of the ring. His celebrations are brought to an abrupt halt, however, as Nationwide grabs him and hurls him into the middle of the ring! He runs over and spears El Kabong Jr, delivering some strong right hands, as the fans jeer. He pushes the referee aside and goes over to the turnbuckle, climbing up. He doesn't hesitate for a second, throwing himself forward off the turnbuckle, and delivering the Wake Up Call! The fans jeer as he picks himself back up, leaning over El Kabong. He grabs Kabong by the head and lifts him to a sitting position, grabbing his mask, but before he can pull it away, Walt Houston runs out to ringside! Kabong's partner dashes down the ramp, sliding into the ring, but Nationwide gets out of the ring quickly, avoiding a confrontation with Houston.
Dean Nathaniel; What business has Nationwide got trying to reveal who El Kabong Jr really is? Just because he just got his ass royally handed back to him?
Robert Purcell; Don't deny that you would have liked to know once and for all, Dean. I'll bet Nationwide is just as intrigued as anyone else in this damn federation!
Houston helps El Kabong Jr up as Nationwide exits, and the fans cheer as Kid Kaos appears on the video wall. He stands in his locker room, fully clothed for the night's main event. He is pacing intensely, but then he stops and sits down, looking at the camera.
Kid Kaos; I said when I first got here that I would be forever known as Creation Wrestling's first Heavyweight champion. I said I would rule CW no matter who got in my way. I said I would be the one to get the crowd jumping, make the fans stand and applaud, because they knew I was simply the best CW had to offer when it came down to in-ring action. I said I would dominate CW, no matter how small I was in stature. Tonight I begin my quest to eternal greatness. Tonight da young thug takes that one way ticket to the main event at Origins.
Kid Kaos stops briefly, and a cheer comes from inside the arena.
Kid Kaos; Tonight I become number one contender for the vacant Heavyweight title. I will send bum after bum over the top rope until it is just me and me only. Ain't nobody in this fed gonna be able to stop me. I may have to dissapoint the fans and run straight down to the ring, but once I'm in, I won't disappoint them with the total 'Kaos' I bring to the battle royal. Some people say they wrestle with heart...well I wrestle with soul, and tonight I will use that soul to get to Origins.
Kid Kaos looks at his cell phone and sees the time. He takes a deep breath and stands up.
Kid Kaos; Looks like it is go time. No fear, no conscious, no losing. Nobody eliminates Double K, nobody eliminates Da Kid, nobody eliminates da Face Painted Thug, nobody eliminates the show thief, Creation Wrestling's top star, the young and thuggin Kid Kaos. F**k da future, my time is now!
Kid Kaos walks out of his room with great intensity, to a chorus of cheers as the scene fades. Straight away we cut to Paul Castle, who is standing by with one half of The Black Circle, Chris Cairns. He is dressed in his wrestling gear, and somewhat unusually, a smart looking black parka jacket.
Paul Castle; Tonight sees the second of Creation Wrestling's battle royals to determine the Creation Heavyweight Championship match at this month's pay-per-view, Origins, and standing by me we have a man who will be hoping to go all the way. Chris Cairns, tonight you step into the ring with nine of your counterparts, including your own tag team partner. As you know, for you to go to Origins, you have to be the last man standing. So my question is, how do you feel about the prospect of having to eliminate Bane in order to win the match?
Chris Cairns; Paul, don't be so naive. You think me and Bane don't come up with a plan when things like this arise? These so-called 'problems', we always work around them. We're a well-oiled machine...most of the time.
Paul Castle; In that case, may I ask why you have been avoiding one another tonight, and why you weren't present when Bane last spoke to our TV cameras?
Chris Cairns; We're not surgically f**king attached to one another, you know. I have my life, and Bane has his. Some days we cross paths, others we don't, and this happens to be one of those days. Besides, look what the big idiot did to my new jacket!
Cairns turns around, revealing a large hole in the lower back of his jacket. The hole seems to be the result of a fire. Cairns turns back around with a grumpy look on his face.
Chris Cairns; 250 quid, this cost me! I told him not to try and light a fart, but would he listen?
The crowd laugh, and Castle looks at him with a degree of wonderment.
Paul Castle; Well one things for certain, you can't stay out of one another's way much longer. Your match is up next. However, may I ask, just what plan do you have in mind should the two of you be left to face another inside the ring?
Chris Cairns looks at Castle again, this time not so much angrily, as confused. He seems to shrug his shoulders, before walking off camera. Castle follows him down the corridor, Chris ignoring his questions, and we head back to ringside.
Robert Purcell; See Dean, I told you it was something small! Bane just ruined Chris's coat, that's all, and here you are, doom-mongering! Shame on you, Dean Nathaniel, shame on you!
Dean Nathaniel; Well apparently Chris doesn't see it the same way! One thing is for sure, those two had better patch up their differences at some point in the next few minutes, or they could find themselves well and truly eliminated!
Suddenly Justin England walks out onto the stage, to a surprised reception from the crowd. He holds a microphone, and everyone turns to hear what he has to say.
Justin England; Ladies and gentlemen, I realise that you were expecting a ten person battle royal, but that will no longer be the case. Instead, our main event tonight will be an eleven person battle royal!
Dean Nathaniel; A surprise entrant!
Robert Purcell; Don't even tell me England is gonna get in the ring.
Justin England; We've been going over contractual details for a week or so now, but at last, yesterday, we finalised the details of this mans contract. So I bring to you the eleventh participant of tonight's contest, Scottie Rayda!
Justin England walks off the stage, and the arena plunges into darkness as "Droppin' Plates" by Disturbed hits the speakers. The arena is rocked by a tidal wave of jeering, as Scottie Rayda strides out onto the stage. Twin pyros shoot from the top of the ramp into the upper reaches of the arena, as Rayda heads toward the ring. Rayda rolls under the bottom rope, before climbing the turnbuckle and sarcastically taunting the fans.
Dean Nathaniel; Well well, it seems these participants have something more to worry about!
Robert Purcell; I'll say! Scottie Rayda is one mean bastard; he'd step over his own grandmother to get a shot at the Creation Heavyweight Championship! And he'd probably give her a swift kick while he was at it!
Each time the words 'the watcher' are spoken, a quarter of the arenas lights go out. Once they are all out, the spotlights on the stage come on, and all you can see is the front of the entrance. Kid Kaos comes out and points to the crowd to see which side is louder, moving towards the louder side of the crowd. He runs into the crowd through the stands, standing up and raising his hands, fists clenched. He runs down to the ring, hops the barrier, and slides into the ring. He runs across the ring and climbs to the middle turnbuckle, and 'pops his collar'. He takes off his jersey and throws it to the side, then tosses his du-rag into the crowd as the music dies. He jumps down at stares at Rayda, looking a bit peeved by his presence.
Dean Nathaniel; I don't think Kaos is taking too kindly to Rayda playing a part in this contest!
Robert Purcell; Well he oughta go take it up with Justin England! It was his doing, and nobody elses!
The lights go out and "The Man Without Fear" hits the speakers, followed by a flash of green light throughout the arena. Pyro shoots from the stage as JX Lighthouse walks out, closely followed by Jodie Jackson and his manager, Matt Lanegan. They walk to the ring without making a fuss, as the crowd show what disdain they have for him. As Lighthouse gets into the ring, the arena falls into darkness, and the crowd jeer as Crimson gets ready to hit the ring. A huge ball of pyro drops from the ceiling and hits the ramp, and "Get Inside" hits as Crimson rises up through the ring of fire now on the stage. He walks down to the ring slowly, standing on the apron and looking out at the crowd. He raises his arms into the air and brings them back down, pyro exploding from the ringposts as the lights come up. He climbs into the ring and onto the turnbuckle, greeting nothing but jeers as he poses. He climbs down and sheds his jacket as the music dies to a close.
Dean Nathaniel; What do you think JX Lighthouse will be staking on this matchup, Robert? He's got a lot to gain. He keeps talking about this lack of respect people have for him, and now's as good a time as any to change that!
Robert Purcell; Well don't underestimate him. He may only be small in comparison to the likes of Bane, Blade Arkhan, but he's as quick as a cat, and he's got a few tricks up his sleeve, if I remember anything about him!
The crowd waits in silence, but the quiet is soon broken as a huge blue pyro explodes in front of the stage. The music goes straight into the chorus of "Learn To Fly" by Foo Fighters, and the crowd let out a brief pop for the entrance of Ethan Sebastian. He walks out onto the stage, staring out at the crowd, and making a few cocky comments as he swaggers down the aisle. He stops at the base and the lights begin to flicker on and off, until finally "Poem" by Taproot hits and the arena goes dark. Pyro bursts in a circle at the top of the ramp, and Jeff Maverick rises through a hole in the stage in his ring attire. The pyro goes out and the lights come on. He walks down to the ring in a slow and casual manner, joining Ethan at the base of the ramp. Blue lights flash at the two of them step onto the apron, staring out arrogantly. Maverick wipes his feet on the apron, and then climbs into the ring. Ethan and Jeff ascend the turnbuckles, taunting to the crowd, before jumping down into the ring. Ethan taunts Kid Kaos as Maverick looks around at the fans.
Dean Nathaniel; Kaos has some unfinished business with these two, after the events of the past two weeks!
Robert Purcell; That leg of his is going to hamper his progress in this contest, Dean, at least if people take advantage of it! I'd bet good money on Ethan and Jeff going straight for that weakened knee!
The lights go low and turn red as the arena fills with mist. Suddenly "Prayer" by Disturbed blasts over the speakers, and pyros explode as a figure walks out onto the darkened stage. The crowd explodes into cheers and a single red spot light turns on the area, illuminating it to show Blade Arkhan. He begins to walk to the ring slowly, climbing in over the top rope and raising his hands into the air as pyros explode once more. A few people step back a little, obviously wanting to avoid confrontation with the big man.
Dean Nathaniel; Well here he is, Robert, Blade Arkhan! If you really wanna talk unfinished business, just look at him and Bane! These two haven't stepped into the same ring for months, and they're still at one anothers throats!
A loud firework explodes on the stage, and "Elevation" by U2 blasts through the arena as Enclosure walk out onto the stage. Dustin walks to both sides of the stage and points out at the fans, before turning and following Melissa quickly to the ring, as she tags the hands of the fans sat by the aisle. They roll into the ring and climb the near turnbuckles, raising their arms into the air. They climb down and discuss the upcoming match between the two of them as their music cuts.
Robert Purcell; This is a far cry from the television screen!
Dean Nathaniel; I think these two can handle it, Robert. They've not come this far without learning a thing or two about what it takes to be a champion. They've barely been wrestling a year and already they are two time Tag Team champions.
Robert Purcell; Tag wrestling is a different kettle of fish altogether, Dean. These matches are about sheer brawling ability, and no amount of technical, high-flying, whatever crap will change that.
The sound of helicopter blades rattles around the arena, shaking it to it's foundations. The electric guitar kicks in, and the pounding drum beats of "Morning Glory" by Oasis reverberate around the arena. A shocking bright pyro explodes, soaking the arena with white light. The pyro dies out as white strobe lights flash around the crowd, and mist rises slowly from the floor. With a loud crack of thunder, "Between Angels and Insects" by Papa Roach blares out of the loud speakers. Bane and Chris Cairns walk out onto the stage to jeers from the crowd. The lights begin to flicker on and off as the twosome get to the bottom of the ramp, and they enter the ring. Immediately everyone begins to brawl, the bell ringing as the referees scarper from the ring. Enclosure immediately set on The Black Circle, Kid Kaos going toe to toe with Gamblers Anonymous, as Scottie Rayda brawls with Crimson. JX Lighthouse gets to Blade Arkhan, delivering forearms to the back of the head, as Blade tries to get to Bane.
Dean Nathaniel; This one just erupted as soon as The Black Circle hit the ring! Enclosure are certainly having a good go at Bane and Cairns right now, but Arkhan seems to be having some trouble!
Robert Purcell; Get him Lighthouse! Punch that big idiot! Smack him!
Blade Arkhan rises up from his knees and swings his arms back, knocking Lighthouse to the ground. Bane ducks a double clothesline from Enclosure, which connects with Chris Cairns, but suffers one anyway as Blade finally charges over and levels him! The crowd go wild as Blade drops to his knees, knocking the hell out of Bane with big right hands. Maverick and Sebastian charge Kaos into the corner, Maverick working the chest area with chops as Sebastian delivers kicks to the knee, propped up on the second rope. Enclosure quickly head over and spin the two around, delivering simultaneous right hands. Melissa dropkicks Maverick back into Kaos, delivering a drop toehold as he bounces back, while Dustin floors Sebastian with a DDT. Scottie Rayda counters a mild comeback from Crimson with a thumb to the eye, quickly grabbing him by the head and launching him over the top rope! Crimson hits the ground quickly, landing awkwardly on the ground as Rayda turns and continues on.
Robert Purcell; Now if that's not a good start I don't know what is.
Dean Nathaniel; I don't think Crimson will be saying the same thing, Robert. He landed very awkwardly on that left arm, I think he may well have done himself some major damage there!
Crimson slowly picks himself up, fevering his left arm quite a lot as he walks away. A couple of EMT's run out and meet him on the ramp, helping him away as the battle royal continues. Arkhan has Bane in the corner, still delivering powerful blows to the skull as Kid Kaos and Enclosure triple team Gamblers Anonymous, delivering a triple team suplex on the two of them. Scottie Rayda quickly meets Melissa Cage with a spear, then fighting off Dustin as JX Lighthouse gets up, exchanging shots with Kid Kaos. Chris Cairns slowly sneaks over to Blade Arkhan, trying to surprise him, but Arkhan spins around and floors him with a big right hand. As Blade turns around, Bane kicks him in the midsection, dropping him with a huge DDT. Cairns quickly heads out of the ring, rolling under the bottom rope. A referee tries to usher him back in as he goes over to the timekeeper's area and snatches two steel chairs.
Dean Nathaniel; Typical.
Robert Purcell; It's just good sense, Dean! Drastic times require drastic measures!
Cairns slides back into the ring and hands Bane a chair, and they head to opposite sides of the ring as Arkhan picks himself up. He stands up, and the two charge forward, looking to sandwich him between them, but Arkhan ducks! The two men collide with sheer force, and the crowd laughs as the chairs rebound into them, knocking both men down. Bane hits the ground with a thud as Blade gets up to his feet, and the velocity sends Cairns bouncing back up and near to the ropes. Seeing an opportunity, Blade runs forward and sends him flying out of the ring with a big boot! The crowd lets out a huge cheer, and Chris hits the ground with a crash. Blade picks up the chair and turns to Bane, flooring him with a huge chairshot, to an even bigger cheer from the fans. Arkhan tosses the chair down and takes a moment to stare at Bane, before throwing himself back into the match. Dustin Cage continues to square off with Scottie Rayda, Maverick and Sebastian finally managing to pick themselves up by the ropes as Kid Kaos ducks a JX Lighthouse punch, swinging around and delivering a release German suplex.
Dean Nathaniel; If I were Ethan Sebastian and Jeff Maverick, I'd move from there ASAP.
Arkhan sees the twosome stood by the ropes and sees another opportunity, charging over and removing the pair of them from the matchup with a double clothesline! They hit the floor and look up at Arkhan with shock, shaking their heads as they get up. They get up and walk away, arguing with one another. Chris Cairns gets back up, holding his face in pain, but remaining at ringside as Bane continues to fight in the contest. Matt Lanegan and Jodie Jackson shout encouragement to Lighthouse as he lies on the mat, still feeling the effects of that German suplex. Melissa Cage is back up, and she does her best to help her brother out of his predicament, jumping on Scottie Rayda's back. The distraction allows Dustin Cage a moment, and he takes advantage with a few right hands. Melissa drops off Rayda's back and hits the ropes behind, running forward and delivering a swinging neckbreaker to the debutant.
Dean Nathaniel; Enclosure are certainly showing no fear of Scottie Rayda in this contest, and why should they?
Robert Purcell; Because he's a big mean Australian bastard with something to prove.
Dean Nathaniel; Everyone in this contest has something to prove! There's no more at stake here for Scottie Rayda than there is for Dustin Cage, Melissa Cage, or anyone else in that ring right now! Everyone is looking for that same thing, a chance to become the Creation Heavyweight Champion!
Bane finally gets back up, after a lot of encouragement from Chris Cairns. His attempts to get to Arkhan are immediately cut off by Kid Kaos, who forces him back with a few right hands. Arkhan is back to Lighthouse, the two opponents from last week continuing where they left off as Enclosure double team the grounded Scottie Rayda. Kaos backs Bane up into the ropes with a few dizzying knuckles, delivering a shot on the bridge of the nose that knocks Bane right back. Kaos spins around and looks for the Kaos Kick, but Bane sidesteps, and Kaos' leg gets caught over the rope. Bane quickly grabs his other leg, lifting it up and turfing Kaos out of the ring! The crowd jeers, but Cairns claps Bane's quick thinking. As he leans over the top rope, staring, Melissa Cage sees a chance and heads over, dropkicking him in the back! Bane tumbles forward, and Melissa celebrates as Bane looks to be eliminated, but Cairns runs over and uses himself to prop Bane up! He pulls himself back up and into the ring, turning and staring at Melissa angrily.
Dean Nathaniel; Bane just cheated his way back into this match, and it's looking like Melissa Cage could be about to pay the price!
Robert Purcell; Well she will try and eliminate Bane, that just reeks of idiocy!
Melissa is suddenly caught from behind by a powerful clothesline in the back of the head, Bane flooring her with a brutal shot. Dustin Cage breaks away from working Scottie Rayda and comes to his sisters aid, fighting Bane back with right hands. He leaves Bane in the centre of the ring and hits the ropes, but Bane catches him around the chest, delivering a belly to belly suplex! Cage soars through the air, just avoiding elimination, as Scottie Rayda gets up. He grabs Melissa Cage by the head and tosses her out of the ring, to even more jeers from the crowd. He turns around laughing and bumps right into Bane, who grabs him by the throat, and delivers a chokeslam! The crowd cheers Bane for that one move, but not for long, as he charges into the corner where Arkhan is punching holes out of Lighthouse. Blade moves, and Bane crushes Lighthouse with all his weight, before turning into a superkick from Arkhan! Bane staggers backwards into the ropes, and Arkhan looks out at the fans, to a cheer.
Robert Purcell; Oh no.
Dean Nathaniel; Do it Blade! It's yours for the taking!
Blade heeds the encouragement of the fans and runs forward with a clothesline, but Chris Cairns quickly grabs him by the foot, stopping him in his tracks. Blade turns around and tries to kick at Cairns, but Chris ducks away. Blade shouts a few words in anger at him, but only until Bane runs over and dumps him out of the ring! The crowd lets out a huge jeer as Arkhan lands on the ground, eliminated from the matchup! Bane turns around laughing, and Chris Cairns gets away from Blade pretty quickly. All of Bane's remaining opponents are lying on the canvas, and the crowd jeer as he looks around, laughing at the carnage around him. Unsurprisingly, he turns his attention to Dustin Cage. He lifts Cage up to his feet and stands, looking around at the fans and still laughing, but Cage quickly snaps up to his feet and begins to deliver right hands.
Dean Nathaniel; Dustin Cage is fighting off Bane with all he has! Come on Dustin, you're our last hope! Send the fans home happy!
Cage hits the ropes and charges forward, hitting a shoulder block. Bane is unmoved, and Cage tries the move again, again unsuccessfully. At the third attempt Bane tries to counter with a big boot, but Dustin slides through his legs, hitting the opposing ropes, and coming back with a spear. Bane finally hits the ground, and Dustin stands back up, the crowd getting well and truly behind him, being the only fan favourite left in the contest. JX Lighthouse is back up, and he meets Dustin in the middle of the ring with a dropkick. Dustin staggers back into the corner, and Lighthouse runs in, delivering an elbow to the head. Dustin falls down to the canvas, and Lighthouse quickly jumps to his feet, getting onto the top rope. He looks down at Dustin and flips off the turnbuckle, landing Insert Name Here!
Dean Nathaniel; What a move by JX Lighthouse! That Shooting Star Press was executed perfectly!
Robert Purcell; But do the fans care? No!
The fans are, in fact, virtually unmoved by Lighthouse's efforts. He walks over to Scottie Rayda as the Australian pulls himself to his feet, looking to take advantage of him with a few punches, but as he stands over Rayda, Scottie drops and pulls the rope down, bundling Lighthouse out of the ring! A few of the crowd laugh, but the majority boo his tactics as he gets up, laughing at Lighthouse.
Dean Nathaniel; Those are despicable tactics from Rayda! All this time he was playing possum, and unluckily for Lighthouse, he was the one person who fell for it! But we are down to three! This is where it gets really interesting!
Scottie Rayda walks over to Bane, looking to take his revenge for the chokeslam earlier in the contest. Chris Cairns shouts to Bane to pick himself up and fight, which he does. He surprises Rayda with a stinging uppercut, but Scottie retaliates with an elbow to the forehead. Bane staggers back into the corner, meeting an attempted body splash from Rayda with a raised boot. Bane grabs Rayda as he turns around and raises him high into the air, walking slowly towards the ropes, and looking to dump Scottie out! He takes a moment to survey the fans, but it proves to be a mistake, as Scottie reaches down and rakes his eyes. Bane drops Scottie on the mat, and Rayda remains in the match, albeit somewhat painfully. Bane leans on the ropes for support as Rayda rests on all fours, holding his ribs. Dustin Cage picks himself up and runs over quickly, using Scottie as a launchpad, and sending Bane toppling out of the ring with a dropkick to the upper back!
Dean Nathaniel; Bane is gone! Dustin Cage has taken Bane out! This is unbelievable stuff!
Robert Purcell; I don't believe it!
Dean Nathaniel; It's down to Cage and Rayda, Robert! These two men are toe to toe for a title shot! Will it be the debutant, the Australian, or will it be one half of Enclosure, Dustin Cage?
Dustin Cage quickly turns around, paying no attention to Bane, as the near-seven footer turns and stares at Cage, in an absolute fury. Chris Cairns looks almost as annoyed as Bane as Dustin hammers Rayda with right hands, the fans getting well behind him as he stands on the brink of a title shot. He picks Rayda up and throws him into the ropes, delivering a tilt-o-whirl backbreaker. He stands up and looks out at the crowd, garnering a massive cheer from them as Rayda holds his back in pain. Suddenly Chris Cairns jumps up onto the apron, distracting Cage, as Bane climbs in behind. Cairns drops from the apron, and Bane levels Dustin in the back with the steel chair!
Dean Nathaniel; No! That's despicable! Dustin Cage eliminated Bane fair and square!
Robert Purcell; He sure did, and now he'll wish he hadn't!
Cage drops to one knee, holding his back in pain, as Bane lifts the chair again and brings it down onto the back of his head! Dustin is floored by the second shot, and Bane leaves the ring to a huge jeer from the crowd. He and Cairns walk up the ramp, Bane tossing the chair down on the aisle as Scottie Rayda slowly picks himself up. He sees Cage dragging himself to his feet by the ropes, running over, and knocking Dustin over the top rope! The bell rings to a huge jeer from the fans, as Scottie Rayda turns around, celebrating his battle royal win!
Dean Nathaniel; There's no justice Robert, no justice! Dustin Cage had this match won, he had a title shot, until Bane got involved!
Robert Purcell; He's paid the same price as his sister, Dean! He wanted to be the hero just like her, and he suffered for it! And now Scottie Rayda has sneaked into a title match!
Scottie Rayda gets up and celebrates, laughing to himself. Dustin Cage picks himself up on the outside to applause from the crowd surrounding him, tagging a few hands as he walks away despondently, but with a degree of anger evident on his face. He looks towards the ramp, but Bane and Cairns have long gone. Rayda climbs atop a turnbuckle and raises his arms into the air, posing for the crowd.
Dean Nathaniel; Dustin Cage has earned the respect of each and every one of these fans. That was a fantastic effort by Dustin Cage, but unfortunately, on this night it was not to be!
The camera focuses on Cage briefly as he looks back towards Rayda, shaking his head, before turning and walking up the ramp. Rayda climbs another turnbuckle, continuing to pose, with his title shot sealed!
