Wednesday 5th
March
Live from the Pacific Coliseum, Vancouver,
British Columbia
The Genesis preview tape plays, set to "By The Way" by Red Hot Chili Peppers. The video shows footage of superstars from the Creation Wrestling roster, speeding up as the music moves into the chorus. As it plays out, the shot focuses on the darkness of the Pengrowth Saddledome as the crowd anticipate the beginning of the show. A bright turquoise firework drops from the heights, crashing onto the stage and exploding, igniting a pair of wires and leading to the top corners of the titantron. Sparks explode upwards the length of the wires, and as they hit the top three fireworks race between them and towards the sky, exploding over the crowd and bathing the arena in bright white light. The light come half on as strobe lights begin to flash around the arena, the fans standing in unison and making as much noise as they can!
Dean Nathaniel; Welcome, one and all, to Creation Wrestling! This is Dean Nathaniel, live from the commentary table in Calgary as we kick off with the first-ever Genesis! Beside me here at the Saddledome is Robert Purcell, and Robert, what a start everyone is expecting this to be!
Robert Purcell; It certainly is an experience to be here, Dean! Now you know me, I'm as cynical as it gets, but if Creation Wrestling lives up to expectations we are in for a hell of a ride!
Dean Nathaniel; Indeed we are Rob, and we kick off the action with some very good matches on tonights schedule! Tonights main event pits Bane and The Bane-Shees against Enclosure and El Kabong Jr, in a six man tag team table match! That promises to be a very exciting matchup! We are certainly in for a clash of styles when they meet inside the ring!
Robert Purcell; A clash of styles it may be, Dean, but as far as I'm concerned Enclosure and El Kabong are entering into unfamiliar territory! They'll be extremely fortunate to pull off a win against a team of that power, especially one led by Bane, and that's not even taking to account Chris Cairns presence at ringside!
The arena fades to black as "Everything In It's Right Place" by Radiohead plays, and the crowd cheer. Infrequent flashes of blue and gold light happen along with the music as Jack Impact walks slowly to the ring in a blue cape and gold mask, which covers his eyes. He gets just outside the ring and turns around, then drops to one knee with one finger held in the air. He then gets up and walks up the steps, before entering the ring through the second and third ropes. He climbs in and sits on top of the nearest turnbuckle, then takes off the mask and throws it over his right shoulder. The lights fade up and Jack Impact takes off his cape, ready to do battle with the opposition.
Dean Nathaniel; Well here it all begins folks, we kick off tonights action with Jack Impact taking on Lucian Valerio! Valerio has brought with him something of a reputation Rob!
Robert Purcell; He may only be small, but he's as mean as I've seen them come! Jack Impact is gonna have his work cut out for him in this match, that's for sure!
The arena quickly dims down to black as an untempo sound hits the speakers. Grey flares lining the stage ignite, prompting "Sympathy For The Devil" by The Rolling Stones to hit, and causing the audience to react with a chorus of jeers. Lucian Valerio calmly walks onto the stage as the lights regain their composure, and once again illuminate the arena. Valerio looks around at the crowd, before rubbing the side of his nose, and craftfully keeping his middle finger up at the nearby fans. He trots down the ramp, smirking the entire way down. Lucian walks to and up the steel ringsteps one at a time, before crossing the ring apron and slipping into the ring.
Robert Purcell; Now this is a guy I like the look of!
The bell rings and the two men tie up, both trying to gain an advantage as early as possible. Lucian rakes Jack Impact in the face before hitting him with a series of rights and lefts. Lucian grabs Impact and throws him to the ropes. Impact rebounds and Lucian hits him with a snap suplex. Valerio gets to his feet quickly and grabs Impact by the hair. Lucian throws Impact between the ropes and out of the ring. Impact hits the floor with a thud as Lucian stays inside the ring to taunt the fans who jeer him with a passion. Lucain then jumps out of the ring and kicks Impact in the cut. Lucian Valerio then grabs Impact by the head and throws him into the steel steps, the top half of them are sent flying into the crowd barricade as Impact smashes into them elbow first.
Dean Nathaniel; This one is turning into a brawl!
Robert Purcell; I think, I hope Jack Impact has just broken his elbow!
Impact quickly gets up, holding his elbow in pain. Lucian runs at him and spears him, bringing him down and then proceeding to punch away at his face. Lucian see's the referee making the ten count, he picks Impact up and rolls him into the ring before rolling in himself. Lucian picks Jack Impact up and whips him into the ropes. Impact ducks Lucian's attempted clothesline and bounces off the opposite ropes before running at Valerio and knocking him down with a flying cross body. Impact holds on to Valerio and tries for the pin, but can only manage a two count.
Robert Purcell; It'll take a lot more than that to defeat Valerio, Jack!
Dean Nathaniel; Impact wasn't all that far away from getting the three count there, Robert!
Both men quickly spring to their feet, but it is Impact who reacts quickest. He hits Valerio with a superkick right on the chin. The crowd "ooh" as the smack echoes around the arena. Valerio is sent reeling into the ropes. Impact grabs Valerio and whips him into the opposite ropes, and upon his return, Valerio falls victim to a spinebuster from Impact which is followed up by a headbutt to the groin. Valerio rolls around the mat in agony as Jack Impact gets to his feet and laughs before hitting him with an elbow to the head. However, Impact uses the elbow he hurt earlier. He gets back to his feet and holds his elbow, wincing in pain.
Robert Purcell; Hehe!
Dean Nathaniel; Impact was so caught up in this match that he forgot all about his elbow which was injured earlier on tonight!
Valerio gets to his feet and jabs at the face of Jack Impact, but Impact hits back and hits Valerio with a flurry of punches before grabbing him by the head and bringing him to the mat with a DDT. Valerio gets to his feet, holding his head. Impact brings him to his knees with a dropkick to the kidneys. Impact flips to his feet after delivering the dropkick and kicks Valerio right in the temple, sending a sickening smack through the arena. Impact signals that the end is near and attempts the Fog In The Meat Aisle much to the crowd approval. However, Valerio wriggles his way out of Impact's grasp and pushes Impact into the turnbuckle.
Dean Nathaniel; Valerio was lucky to escape there.
Valerio runs towards Impact and hits him with an elbow to the side of the head. Lucian then drags Jack into the center of the ring, grabs him from behind and hits him with a release German suplex. Impact hits the mat with a thud and Valerio quickly scrambles over to him for the pin, but Impact gets his shoulder up just before the two count. Undeterred, Valerio lifts Impact up and pushes him back into the turnbuckle, delivering four elbows to the head as the crowd looks on, jeering. He mouths off briefly, before getting up onto the second rope and dropping right hands into Impact's forehead. The referee comes over and shouts at Lucian to get down, but Valerio continues the assault.
Dean Nathaniel; Valerio doesn't seem to be paying much attention to the referee. He seems more intent on beating the hell out of Jack Impact than winning this match!
Robert Purcell; He's got a point to prove, Dean, and he's doing as good a job as he can proving it!
Valerio looks out to mouth off again, before turning to look down at the referee. He tells the referee to go away, allowing Impact the opportunity to push him down from the turnbuckle. Valerio lands on his feet and runs at Impact as he stands up, but Impact catches him around the throat with both hands and delivers the Rydeen Bomb! He pushes Lucian's legs back and covers, but Valerio gets his shoulder up at the last second, to the disappointment of the crowd.
Dean Nathaniel; The crowd are well up for an upset here Robert, if that's what you would call it!
Robert Purcell; Well I would!
Impact gets up quickly and lifts Valerio to his feet, shoving him back into the ropes. Impact follows in and hits a couple of knife-edge chops, before whipping Valerio across the ring. Valerio reverses, but Impact delivers a clothesline on the rebound. Valerio staggers up again and into another clothesline, before Impact stabs out his right foot and catches Valerio in the midsection. Valerio doubles over, and Impact catches him under the arms. He lifts Valerio up, setting up for Fog In The Meat Aisle, but Valerio shifts his body weight and drops back down to the ground. He quickly spins around and the two men find themself locked in a battle to execute a backslide, until Valerio kicks up his foot and hits Impact between the legs!
Dean Nathaniel; Oh come on, how was the referee blind to that?
Robert Purcell; What a smart move by Valerio!
Valerio quickly takes advantage and slides Impact's shoulders to the mat, picking his feet up and resting them on the second rope for leverage! The referee misses Valerio's blatant cheating again, and Lucian picks up the cheap three count! His music hits, and the fans boo as Valerio stands up, celebrating his win. He rolls out of the ring and raises his arms into the air as Impact protests to the referee, pointing out the kick to the groin as Lucian walks off smugly.
Dean Nathaniel; I can't believe the referee didn't see that.
Robert Purcell; Well believe it Dean, Lucian Valerio has got away with both it and a victory!
The scene cuts to Paul Castle, who is waiting in the parking lot for the long awaited arrival of El Kabong Jr, who until tonight has refused to show himself in person! Finally a limo pulls up and the driver steps out. He makes to open the door, until Paul Castle approaches him.
Paul Castle; Paul Castle here, and as usual I'm about to get one of the biggest scoops since Creation Wrestling's conception! Inside this very limo is the man of mystery who will be participating in tonight's main event, El Kabong Jr! Just who is this El Kabong Jr, and how did this relatively new face in the wrestling world gain such respect from President England that he placed him in such a high spot on tonight's card? I, the premiere interviewer of Creation Wrestling, am about to find out...
Driver; Um, actually sir, you're not.
Paul Castle; What? Listen here, pal! You can't stop a journalist from uncovering the truth! Now open that door and let me interview this man!
Driver; Um...okay...
The driver opens the door and Paul Castle is smiling at his victory, until he realizes that the man who comes out is not a luchadore, but some dorky guy in a green pinstripe suit and thick, taped up glasses with an "Alfalfa" haircut! Some 'in the know' fans cheer and start chanting "Sexy! Sexy!" as the man nervously steps out of the vehicle.
Man; W-w-wow! I...um, uh...I even g-g-get interviewed as w-w-well as p-p-picked up? Um...th-this is c-c-c-cool!
Paul Castle; Excuse me, but who the hell are you?
Man; M-m-me? Oh...um, yeah! Um, I'm...uh, St-st-steve Sanders, th-though...um, some p-p-people call m-muh-me 's-s-sexy'...I, um...I d-don't r-r-really know wh-why...I th-think they're...um, j-j-joking...
Paul Castle; Uh-huh...that's nice. But tell me, where the hell is El Kabong Jr?
Steve Sanders; Wh-wh-who?
Paul Castle; Argh! You're useless! Why are you here anyway?
Steve Sanders; Oh...um, I w-w-was invited b-b-by someone...
Paul Castle; Who would that be?
Steve Sanders; Um...I c-can't tell you...it's a s-s-secret...
Paul Castle just sighs and shakes his head as the scene suddenly cuts to Katie Robinson standing outside of a lockerroom, also with a microphone in her hand. She stares at the camera.
Katie Robinson; Ladies and gentlemen, it turns out that El Kabong Jr actually managed to sneak past security and arrive before Genesis actually began! I'm standing by in hope that I can actually catch an interview with him...wait, I think I hear something!
Sure enough, out of the lockerroom walks a masked man...but obviously not one of Hispanic origins! In fact with the exception of the El Kabong mask, the man looks and is dressed in a totally different attire. He has torn jean shorts and a sleeveless 'Dead Milkmen' t-shirt, and a familiar tattoo of a skull on his shoulder. Again, some of the fans recognize him, and even Katie Robinson remembers his name.
Katie Robinson; Rude Boy?!
El Kabong Jr; I'm sorry...who?
Katie Robinson; You're Rude Boy! Former IWF wrestler?!
El Kabong Jr; I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with anyone of that name. My name is El Kabong Jr., son of famous wrestling legend El Kabong, and I'm here in Creation Wrestling to make my family's mark on the world of sports entertainment finally be felt!
Katie Robinson; Pull the other one, 'Junior'! You're Rude Boy! I mean, you're not even hispanic! How do you expect people to believe that you're the son of a Mexican wrestler?
El Kabong Jr; Ma'am, please. The name is El Kabong Jr! I don't know who this "Rude Boy" character you keep calling me is, but it is obviously some mistake. Now if you'll excuse me, I've got to warm up for my professional debut!
Katie Robinson; Well, folks, it seems that El Kabong Jr is really Rude Boy, out of retirement! At least, I think so...
Dean Nathaniel; Well well Robert, it seems there is a lot more to El Kabong Jr than meets the eye!
Robert Purcell; I'll say!
The crowd reacts with a jeer as we see Ethan Sebastian and Jeff Maverick sitting at a table, cards in hand. A man with a plush waistcoat on deals two cards each. Jeff takes a look at his cards and puts them down.
Jeff Maverick; I'll stay.
Ethan Sebastian; Hit me.
Jeff Maverick looks at Ethan's cards and shakes his head in disgust.
Jeff Maverick; You have 20, Ethan.
Ethan Sebastian; I said hit me!
The dealer follows Ethan's orders and deals him another card. Ethan smiles and laughs to himself, throwing an ace down onto the table. Jeff tuts and shakes his head again, this time more out of annoyance.
Ethan Sebastian; And you were going to have me stay!
Jeff Maverick; Beginners luck, Ethan. You won't be so lucky next time.
Ethan Sebastian; Well in that case, I think I'd better call it quits for today.
Jeff Maverick; Oh come on Ethan, just one more play! How about a quick game of poker?
Ethan Sebastian; I'd see a doctor about that gambling problem of yours, Jeff. Catch you later!
Ethan snatches the pile of $20 dollar bills off the table and walks off smiling, as Jeff bangs his head against the surface of the table. He looks back at Ethan and smiles, then turns to the dealer, who has a smile on his face.
Jeff Maverick; What are you laughing at?
Jeff stands up and grabs the dealer, throwing him onto the table and sending it crashing down with him. He dusts his hands and walks off screen, and we cut to see Enclosure heading into the building. The crowd cheers as they walk through the corridors, chatting between themselves, cameras following them from behind as well.
Dustin Cage; I'm telling you, there's only so much of this I can take.
Melissa Cage; Relax, they've only been filming us for 3 days.
Dustin Cage; For f...
Suddenly El Kabong Jr comes into the picture behind and chases after them, grabbing them both on the shoulder. They turn around and smile, both shaking hands with their partner for the nights elimination table match.
El Kabong Jr; Good to see you made it, I've been waiting for you. Come on, get your things sorted. We have a lot to talk about.
Dustin and Melissa look at each other and nod their heads as El Kabong Jr walks back from the direction he came. Enclosure turn around and follow him down the corridor.
Dean Nathaniel; Looks like El Kabong Jr is all business tonight.
The arena falls into darkness, and the crowd jeer as Crimson gets ready to hit the ring. A huge ball of pyro drops from the ceiling and hits the ramp, and "Get Inside" hits as Crimson rises up through the ring of fire now on the stage. He walks down to the ring slowly, standing on the apron and looking out at the crowd. He raises his arms into the air and brings them back down, pyro exploding from the ringposts as the lights come up. He climbs into the ring and onto the turnbuckle, greeting nothing but jeers as he poses. He climbs down and sheds his jacket as the music dies to a close.
Dean Nathaniel; This oughta be a very physical contest. Both of these men are of a similar height and weight, and their styles are also quite similar. It'll be interesting to see who comes out on top here.
Robert Purcell; Well we've already seen Jack Impact lose tonight, so if Johnny's anything like his tag team partner he'll be doing the same thing against Crimson!
Johnny Foreigner walks out as "The Man Who Sold The World" by David Bowie pours out of the speakers. *insert information regarding attire here*. He climbs into the ring and stands on the turnbuckle, staring into the crowd, and waving the Chinese flag, before wiping his face with his arm and jumping down, setting the flag on the apron.
Dean Nathaniel; Johnny Foreigner is usually a tag team specialist, and he will have his work cut out here! What an intimidating figure this Crimson individual cuts, Robert!
Robert Purcell; There's something not quite right about him!
Dean Nathaniel; Crimson's face paint certainly does give off quite a scary impression.
Robert Purcell; I was talking about Foreigner! What sort of an idiot changes his nationality month upon month anyway?
Dean Nathaniel; Well regardless of our competitors' state of mind it's almost time to begin, and just listen to these fans! They are certainly building one hell of an atmosphere here tonight!
The crowd cheer on Foreigner as the two men size one another up in the center of the ring, circling and looking for a chance to strike. The bell rings and the two big men explode, hitting each other with big rights. Crimson grabs Johnny by the head and knees him in the stomach, bringing the small fist fight to an end. Johnny staggers back slightly holding his midsection, but regains his balance by holding himself up on the ropes. Crimson looks around at the crowd, taking his eyes off Johnny, who shrugs his shoulders sarcastically and runs back at Crimson. Crimson turns around as Johnny lashes out an elbow, straight into Crimson's throat. Crimson falls to his knees as Johnny watches him trying to regain his breath, nodding his approval to the supportive fans.
Robert Purcell; This guy might be gloating now, but believe me - it'll be all over soon and it'll be tears before bedtime for Johnny Foreigner! Trust me on that one!
Dean Nathaniel; Well to be fair, Robert, the match has just begun, and we've only seen a few offensive manoeuvres so far. It'll be long before a conclusion is drawn here.
Crimson gets back to his feet as Foreigner comes towards him menacingly, but Crimson cuts him off with an elbow to the side of the head. Crimson then grabs Johnny and hits him with a DDT as the crowd look on, jeering his actions. He takes a moment to soak up the boos and jeers of the fans, before dragging Johnny back to his feet.
Robert Purcell;
Johnny Foreigner got a bit too big for his boots there, and Crimson capitalised!
Crimson whips Johnny into the ropes, but Johnny takes him by surprise and hits him with a
clothesline. Crimson falls to the mat, but it doesn't take Johnny long to drag him to his
feet. Johnny throws Crimson into the turnbuckle and runs at him, but Crimson manages to
get his boot up just in time. His boot connects with Johnny's head, and Johnny is sent
staggering back towards the center of the ring. Crimson runs at Johnny and knocks him down
with a strong clothesline to the back of the head. Johnny rolls onto his back, and Crimson
places his foot over the throat, pushing down with all his weight as the crowd jeer.
Dean Nathaniel; Oh, come on! Do something referee! That's a blatant choke!
Robert Purcell; But surely Dean, this is what the fans want to see!
Dean Nathaniel; Not judging by their current reactions!
The referee finally pushes Crimson away after a five count, and Crimson looks at the referee manically. The referee backs off as Crimson points towards him, mouthing off. Seeing the opportunity to capitalise, Johnny gets back to his feet and spins Crimson around. Johnny stuns Crimson with a few quick jabs to the face, before whipping him into the ropes. Upon his return, Crimson is pushed into the opposite ropes, his speed gathering. When Crimson returns to the center of the ring Johnny again pushes him into the ropes, before using the pace to scoop Crimson up and hit him with an amazing tilt-o-whirl slam! Crimson is sent crashing to the mat, Johnny not too far behind, holding his back in pain after throwing it out somewhat with the velocity of the move. The crowd cheer the move as both men try to get to their feet.
Dean Nathaniel; What a powerful display from Johnny! Amazing strength!
Robert Purcell; It took a lot out of the big fool though! He should never have tried a move like that.
Johnny is the first to his feet, and he grabs Crimson and whips him into the ropes again, however this time Crimson comes back and hits Foreigner with another strong clothesline. Johnny falls to the ground, but Crimson picks him up and throws him into the corner. Crimson hits Johnny with a series of rights and lefts, then grabs the dazed Johnny Foreigner and whips him into the opposite turnbuckle. Johnny hits it with huge impact and comes staggering out again holding his back, right into Crimson, who grabs Johnny by the neck. The crowd rise to their feet as Crimson lifts Johnny up and sends him crashing back to the mat with a chokeslam, and the crowd look on in awe at another big power move.
Robert Purcell; It's curtains for Johnny! Crimson just has to make the pin!
Crimson quickly goes for the pin, and the crowd gasp as Johnny just manages to get the shoulder up before the three count! Crimson slaps the mat in fury, before springing to his feet and kicking the grounded Johnny Foreigner in the gut. Johnny tries to roll away, but Crimson keeps kicking at him. Crimson then picks Johnny up by the hair and whips him into the ropes. Crimson runs into the opposite ropes and the two run towards each other, clashing in the middle of the ring with a double clothesline! Both men fall to the mat, look lifeless as the referee begins a ten count. The crowd chant support towards Johnny as both men roll around on the ground, regaining their strength after a number of high impact moves.
Dean Nathaniel; This is an incredible battle, both men are certainly evenly matched!
The two men get up after five or six seconds and begin to swop punches, Crimson getting the upper hand. Foreigner manages to counter a shot from Crimson, kicking out his right foot, before raising Crimson onto his shoulders. He holds Crimson in a firemans carry, spinning around, but Crimson manages to escape his clutches. Foreigner spins around, and Crimson delivers a thumb to the eye, lifting Foreigner onto his own shoulders. He looks out at the crowd and smiles, before swinging Foreigner over his head and delivering The Bloodbath! Foreigner bounces inches off the ground with the impact, and Crimson makes the cover for a quick one, two, three! He stands up and the referee raises his hand.
Dean Nathaniel; This has not been the best of nights for Jack And Johnny!
Robert Purcell; And not by sheer bad luck, Dean.
Dean Nathaniel; Well regardless of Robert's opinions, Jack Impact and Johnny Foreigner have both suffered defeats here tonight, and a very impressive one on Crimson's part. He won't have done his reputation any harm with this victory.
Robert Purcell; And I dare say there's a lot more to come from him yet.
Dean Nathaniel; He'll certainly be hoping so, but coming up next we have another debutant in Kid Kaos, who takes on Jeff Maverick in a moment's time. This is going to be an interesting contest Robert, at least if these two men live up to our expectations.
Robert Purcell; Well I've seen a lot of Jeff Maverick, at least over the last month or so, and as far as I'm concerned he is the favourite for this match.
Dean Nathaniel; That's assuming he's done his homework Robert, Kid Kaos is something of an unknown entity in these parts.
Each time the words 'the watcher' are spoken, a quarter of the arenas lights go out. Once they are all out, the spotlights on the stage come on, and all you can see is the front of the entrance. Kid Kaos comes out and points to the crowd to see which side is louder, moving towards the louder side of the crowd. He runs into the crowd through the stands, standing up and raising his hands, fists clenched. He runs down to the ring, hops the barrier, and slides into the ring. He runs across the ring and climbs to the middle turnbuckle, and 'pops his collar'. He takes off his jersey and throws it to the side, then tosses his du-rag into the crowd as the music dies.
Robert Purcell; Who does this guy think he is? Jay D?
Dean Nathaniel; That's Jay Z, Robert, and I wouldn't go that far. Regardless of your opinion, this Calgary crowd certainly seems to be warming to him! I doubt Jeff Maverick will get a similar reception!
The lights begin to flicker on and off, until finally "Poem" by Taproot hits and the arena goes dark. Pyro bursts in a circle at the top of the ramp, and Jeff Maverick rises through a hole in the stage in his ring attire. The pyro goes out and the lights come on. He walks down to the ring in a slow and casual manner. When he gets to the ring, he climbs up onto the apron and wipes his feet a few times, and steps through the ropes. He walks to one corner, jumps onto the middle turnbuckle, looks up and throws up both arms. He points his fingers out like two L's, then does the same at the three remaining corners. He gets down as the music fades, and motions for a microphone.
Jeff Maverick; Hello everyone in Edmonton!
Dean Nathaniel; We're in Vancouver, idiot!
Jeff Maverick; And especially to you, Kaos. I'll wager you're not having the best of days, being put up against me in your first match. Now I can't speak for everyone, but I'm pretty confident I can pin you inside five minutes. What do you say, Kaos, how about a friendly bet? Say $2000 dollars? Okay, $3000?
Maverick holds his hand out in a handshake as Kaos steps up to him. He holds his hand out and reaches to shake, but Maverick tricks him with a thumb to the eye! The bell rings and the crowd jeers as Maverick laughs, but Kaos comes right back with a flying right hand! He knocks Maverick square on his backside with the first shot, before tearing forward and dropping him with a clothesline. Kaos throws his arms up, getting the crowd behind him as Maverick looks shocked by the quick, early offense.
Dean Nathaniel; I think Kaos caught Maverick off guard there! He certainly doesn't look too pleased at the moment!
Maverick gets backup and charges towards Kaos, but Kaos drop toeholds Jeff head-first into the top turnbuckle! Kaos moves back again and looks on, laughing as Maverick turns back around shaking his head, looking at his opponent angrily. He picks himself up and walks over to Kaos, pushing him. Kaos laughs it off and delivers another right hand to Maverick, both men trading blows fiercely in the centre of the ring as the crowd shout their backing towards Kid Kaos. Kaos feeds off the enthusiasm from the fans and gains the advantage with a quick uppercut, knocking Maverick back into the ropes. Kaos approaches and hits two knife-edge chops, whipping Maverick towards the other side of the ring.
Dean Nathaniel; Kid Kaos with the upper hand so far in this matchup, reversal by Maverick. Maverick looking for a back body drop here, counter from Kaos...
Kaos delivers a kick to Maverick's shoulder on the run, forcing Maverick to stand. Kaos looks for a clothesline, charging forward, but to no avail as Maverick ducks, turning and delivering an extremely fast superkick that sends Kaos flying back into the ropes and through to the outside! Maverick takes a moment to absorb the crowd's jeers, before following Kaos out and stalking his opponent. He lifts Kaos up and takes him by the hand, whipping him solidly into the ringsteps. Kaos hits the steps full on and flies over them with a thud, jarring his knee in the process. He rolls around on the ground holding it in pain as Maverick walks over, picking him up and rolling him into the ring.
Dean Nathaniel; Kaos just took a nasty shot to the knee from those ringsteps, Robert! The guy can barely stand, look!
Robert Purcell; Well he'd be best keeping the knee well out of Maverick's grasp, because he can and will take advantage!
Maverick reaches in as Kaos stands up, pulling his ankles from underneath him. Kaos lands flat on the canvas face-first, and Maverick drags him towards the ringpost as the referee shouts at him to get back in the ring. He defies the referee's orders and holds Kaos' leg by the steel post, slamming his knee into it, eliciting another jeer from the crowd. Maverick laughs it off, before grabbing the leg again and hanging it over the apron. Kaos is now turned on his back, and Maverick attacks the back of the knee, lifting it up and ramming it down onto the edge of the apron. Kaos rolls away and Maverick finally climbs back into the ring.
Robert Purcell; See Kaos just made a fatal error, at least as far as this match is concerned.
Dean Nathaniel; Well Maverick is certainly showing no signs of stopping the attack on the knee!
Robert Purcell; And why would he?
Maverick lifts the leg off the ground and drops an elbow, sinching in a leglock and hyperextending the knee as Kaos tries to reach over and have him release the hold. Maverick gets up and spins Kaos over onto his front, lifting the leg high off the ground and slamming it hard into the canvas, before spinning him back over and utilising the leglock once again. Kaos quickly reaches forward and rakes Maverick's eyes, forcing him to release the hold. Maverick gets up holding his eyes painfully as Kaos tries to pick himself up over by the ropes, but Maverick quickly runs over and delivers a chopblock, sending Kaos falling back to the mat. He grabs the weakened leg and drags Kaos over to the middle of the ring, holding it up and looking around at the crowd, laughing.
Dean Nathaniel; I think Maverick is looking to put an end to this contest with the figure four! Kaos can't let Maverick lock this hold in, or it might well be time to draw the curtains on this match!
Maverick spins around the leg and sits down, crossing Kaos' left leg and applying the figure four leglock! Kaos screams in pain at the hold, and Maverick pushes his body upwards with his hands, applying even more pressure. Kaos lies back to try and relieve some of it, but the referee quickly begins to count a pinfall, forcing Kaos to raise his shoulders back off the canvas. Maverick looks around smiling, shouting at Kaos to tap out as the referee keeps a close eye on things. Kaos begins to drag himself towards the ropes, Maverick pushing himself further up to try and bring him to a halt as the crowd clap and shout in support of Kaos' attempts to escape the figure four. Maverick swings a few punches in desperation as Kaos stretches out, grabbing the bottom rope!
Dean Nathaniel; Kaos did a good job escaping that figure four!
Robert Purcell; Not good enough, Dean, by the looks of his limp.
Kaos gets up by the ropes, and Maverick pushes him into the corner. He lifts Kaos' leg onto the second rope and begins to stomp at it as the referee tries to call him away. Maverick turns around and berates the referee as Kaos drags himself free of the ropes, charging forward and flooring Maverick with a running facebuster! Kaos lands slightly awkwardly and jarrs his knee further, taking a moment to recover from the pain, before dropping and making a cover. The crowd counts along with the referee, but Maverick gets his shoulder up on two as a result of the brief stoppage on Kaos' part.
Dean Nathaniel; I can't help but feel Kaos could have already won this match, but for the awkward landing.
Robert Purcell; That may be the case Dean, but Jeff Maverick isn't the kind to rest on his laurels though, he'll be back and fighting as soon as he stops seeing quadruple.
Kaos gets up and walks over slowly to the kneeling Jeff Maverick, but Maverick takes advantage with a quick uppercut, stunning Kaos. He stands and grabs Kaos by the head, setting up for the flowing DDT, but Kaos rolls out of the move, holding Maverick around the head and delivering a modified version of the Kaotic Kruzha! He leans across and covers for the one, two, three!
Dean Nathaniel; An unexpected victory for Kid Kaos, Robert! I don't think anyone saw that coming!
Robert Purcell; You can say that again! Jeff Maverick is stunned!
Maverick lies on the canvas staring up at the ceiling in surprise as the referee raises Kaos' hand. Kaos holds the back of his leg and does his best to stand and acknowledge the fans after the win. The fans close to the ring begin to shout out to Kaos as Ethan Sebastian slides into the ring behind him suddenly, diving forward and sweeping Kaos' leg from under him. Ethan begins to stomp on Kaos as Maverick gets up, joining in the beating.
Dean Nathaniel; What business has Ethan Sebastian got being here?
Robert Purcell; He's just helping out his blackjack buddy!
Jeff Maverick climbs out of the ring and grabs a chair as Sebastian kneels over Kaos, delivering right hands to the temple. Maverick slides back in and drops the chair on the ground, Sebastian standing up as Maverick walks over, setting Kaos in another figure four! The referee does his best to stop the beating, but Ethan fights him off, picking up the chair and swinging it in front of him as the crowd jeers. A few more referees run down to try and stop the beating, Sebastian still fighting them off as Kaos screams in pain from the figure four leglock!
Dean Nathaniel; I don't get it, Robert! What the hell has Kaos done to these two?
Robert Purcell; Nothing, that's the beauty of it! Haven't you heard of stamping your authority?
Sebastian walks over with chair in hand and kicks Kaos in the head, standing on his chest as Maverick applies more pressure. He slowly looks around as he raises the chair over his head, bringing it down onto Kaos' knee with a measured shot! The metal shot sounds loudly around the arena, and Maverick finally releases the hold, standing up as Kaos' drags himself out of the ring. The referees begin to help him up, some standing in the way as Sebastian and Maverick leave the ring, walking up the aisle together and laughing as Kaos is helped away from the ring.
Dean Nathaniel; Well I reckon we've just seen our first act of unprovoked violence here in Creation Wrestling,
Robert Purcell; I wouldn't say it was the first, there was Maverick hitting that card dealer before.
Dean Nathaniel; That's not saying much for Jeff Maverick. This guy seems to attract trouble wherever he goes.
Robert Purcell; Well it serves Kaos right for ignoring their bet and trying to cheap shot him before the match started!
Dean Nathaniel; Not a very good memory have we Robert?
Robert Purcell; My memory is excellent, I'll have you know. If anything it's just selective.
Dean Nathaniel; Defective, more like! Anyway I for one hope we won't be seeing any more of that tonight, but there doesn't seem much chance given that Bane is yet to step into the ring.
Robert Purcell; Well don't discount Nationwide, Dean! He's got a huge match coming up now against Blade Arkhan, and he may have to beat the hell out of Arkhan...you know, in self defence!
Dean Nathaniel; He'll be lucky, Robert!
The lights flicker until there is darkness around the arena. A dark figure appears on the video screen and the sounds of footsteps echo throughout the arena. "King Of My World" by Saliva begins to play out, as smoke rises on top of the stage. The lights flicker on and off again as the figure of Nationwide walks through the smoke, with a sledgehammer in his right hand. As he walks down the ramp, he looks out into the crowd and begins to trash talk as he climbs up the ring steps and enters the squared circle to a hostile reception from the crowd.
Dean Nathaniel; If these two are at their best tonight, this is going to be a fantastic match. Nationwide is one of the top wrestlers on the circuit, and his track record is almost second to none. And then there's Blade Arkhan, the biggest man I have ever seen in wrestling, and yet, one of the quickest! This is very tough to call!
Robert Purcell; Well one thing Nationwide has to his advantage is his wrestling brain - Blade may be big and strong, but I severely doubt he can kill off a match like Nationwide can.
Dean Nathaniel; It doesn't take years of training to swing a sledgehammer, Robert.
The lights go low and turn red as the arena fills with mist. Suddenly "Prayer" by Disturbed blasts over the speakers, and pyros explode as a figure walks out onto the darkened stage. The crowd explodes into cheers and a single red spot light turns on the area, illuminating it to show Blade Arkhan. He begins to walk to the ring slowly, climbing in over the top rope and raising his hands into the air as pyros explode once more.
Dean Nathaniel; Nationwide is gonna have a lot of trouble on his hands tonight. This is a big man.
Robert Purcell; And we all appreciate you pointing out the obvious, Dean.
Blade and Nationwide walk to the centre of the ring, Blade towering over the smaller Nationwide. The bell sounds, and the match gets underway. Nationwide immediately throws several hard shots to the face of Blade, but Arkhan isn't fazed at the least, easily shoving Nationwide down to the canvas with one mighty thrust of his arm.
Robert Purcell; No seller! No seller! Booooo!
Nationwide gets back to his feet hurriedly, charging Arkhan again, but this time Blade simply sidesteps the incoming Nationwide and slings him to the corner viciously. Nationwide is back against the turnbuckles, and tries to get out. Blade corners him in, before unleashing a hard shot to the chin, rocking Nationwide back to the corner without any fuss. Blade quickly goes to work on the smaller man, jabbing and thrusting his fists into the ribs and face of Nationwide, who puts his arms up, trying to defend himself to little or no avail. Growing tiresome, Arkhan simply wraps his huge hands around Nationwide's throat and tosses him across the ring, landing hard on his back!
Dean Nathaniel; Oh my God, the power! My, the power of Blade Arkhan!
Robert Purcell; Jesus Christ, you sound like a preacher. Okay, Blade's strong. Big deal! He's dumb as a bag of horsecrap, and at the end of the day if you don't have the smarts to utilise your power, you're good as useless!
Nationwide gets to his feet slowly and backs himself into the corner, before Blade smirks sadistically. He charges full speed ahead to the defenseless Nationwide, but Nationwide drops down, causing Arkhan to run chest first into the top turnbuckle! Blade creases his upper body with the impact, and as he holds his chest in pain Nationwide, ever the opportunist, quickly slides between Arkhan's legs and rolls him into a school boy pin! The referee slides into position and counts one, two, no! Arkhan powers out with force, sending Nationwide a good foot into the air, and back down to the mat in awe. However the still determined Nationwide bounces off the ropes, and comes back with a strong kick to the ribs! An echo is heard as Arkhan snarls in anger and pain.
Dean Nathaniel; I don't think that hurt Blade much, just made him angrier!
Robert Purcell; Evidence that Blade is in fact so ignorant, he doesn't understand pain.
Dean Nathaniel; You're hopeless, Rob. Simply put, Blade Arkhan has a huge size, power, weight, pain threshold advantage over Nationwide whichever way you look at it!
Nationwide, sensing his kick didn't do much, bounces off of the ropes once more. He fires a kick to the shoulder of Arkhan, who jumps from his kneeling position, rage covering his face. Nationwide thinks fast, dropkicking the knee of Arkhan, causing the big man to drop to one knee. Nationwide quickly goes behind Blade, bouncing from the ropes, and coming in, flipping forward over Blade and catching him by the head, snapping his neck forward as he falls. Arkhan's head rebounds, and he falls back to the canvas on his back.
Robert Purcell; Nationwide is back on track!
Dean Nathaniel; For now, but Blade, I suspect, has a lot left to give in this one. Nationwide can still lose.
Robert Purcell; Are you kidding? Nationwide never loses!
Dean Nathaniel; Then what about the time wh...
Robert Purcell; No need to disect the situation, Dean.
Nationwide scurries over and covers Blade, struggling to hook his massive leg. The referee drops down, and slaps the mat one, two, no! Arkhan managed to kick out once more, still plenty of fight left in the big man! Nationwide slaps the mat in anger, before getting to his feet. He pulls Arkhan up by his hair and kicks him in the midsection, doubling Arkhan over, before hooking him up for a DDT. Nationwide tries to drop back, but Blade stands his ground and shoves him down, preventing the DDT. He jumps up, looking for a kneedrop, but Nationwide eludes it! Blade grasps hold of the knee Nationwide dropkicked earlier in pain and discomfort, before Nationwide gets to his feet once more, climbing the turnbuckles slowly. Nationwide looks down on Blade, before leaping off, scoring with an elbow bat to the head of the big man!
Robert Purcell; End him here! Here I say!
Dean Nathaniel; You can't control this one, Robert.
Robert Purcell; You don't have to tell it like it is!
The referee drops down, as Nationwide slides into a cover for one, two, th...no! Nationwide sighs, getting to his knees as Blade starts to get to his senses. He raises up to one knee before Nationwide goes back to the turnbuckles, sitting on the top rope and waiting for Arkhan to get to his feet. Arkhan does just that, and turns around in time to see Nationwide coming off with a double axe handle. Blade reaches out and catches him by the throat, immediately shooting Nationwide up and back down with the Arkhan Chokeslam! Nationwide hits the canvas hard and Arkhan uses his time to recouperate, stretching out his knee.
Dean Nathaniel; What impact!
Robert Purcell; Awww...is wittle Bwadie's knee all hoity woity?
Dean Nathaniel; That's really immature.
Robert Purcell; Oh, I know that. But come on, let's have some perspective here. Blade Arkhan takes a weak dropkick and a missed kneedrop to the knee and he treats it like he's just been capped! You'd think he'd be more resilient for a seven footer!
Arkhan picks himself up and rests on the top turnbuckle as Nationwide recovers slowly, shaking his head loose of any dizziness. Arkhan walks over and begins to deliver huge right hands, keeping Nationwide down. Nationwide begins to use Arkhan to drag himself up, before falling back and dragging Arkhan down, neck-first onto the top rope! Arkhan snaps back as Nationwide gets up, laughing to himself.
Robert Purcell; What an idiot! Nationwide just totally tricked Arkhan!
Dean Nathaniel; Unfortunately he did, and now he's looking to take advantage!
Nationwide heads up top again as Arkhan lies on the ground. He looks out at the crowd and stops momentarily, before getting to the top rope and sailing across the ring with the Wake Up Call! Arkhan lies motionless until the last minute, rolling out of the way as Nationwide hits the ground, bouncing back up onto his knees. Blade quickly grabs him by the neck and drags him to his feet, delivering a second one-handed chokeslam! Rather than make the cover, Blade raises his hand into the air and signals the end to the excited crowd!
Robert Purcell; No!
Dean Nathaniel; Nationwide got cocky, Dean! He had Blade right where he wanted him, and he threw it all away with that attempt at showmanship! He's dropped this match in the palm of Arkhan's hand, and that is not something you want to do!
Arkhan holds Nationwide in a standing headscissors, before raising Nationwide up. He sets him in a jackknife position, before dropping forward with a crucifix powerbomb and subjecting Nationwide to the Cutting Edge! He crawls forward and covers nonchalantly, the referee counting one, two, three! Arkhan stands up and raises his hands into the air, the referee pointing out the victor as Nationwide rolls out of the ring, clutching his midsection.
Dean Nathaniel; In the end that was an emphatic win for Blade Arkhan! I don't think Nationwide was as well-prepared for this match as he could, and probably should have been!
Robert Purcell; Nonsense. Arkhan just got lucky.
Dean Nathaniel; Well that certainly wasn't a shock win, but it'll be interesting to see if El Kabong Jr and Enclosure can pull off a surprise victory against Bane and The Bane-Shees in a few moments time!
Robert Purcell; The s**t is about to hit the fan, Dean.
The crowd cheer as "Offend In Every Way" by The White Stripes hits, and Commissioner Kennedy Wilson walks out onto the stage holding a briefcase. He walks to both sides of the stage and raises his hands up to cheers from the fans, before heading down the ramp and rolling quickly into the ring. He walks to three sides of the ring, taking a moment to absorb the atmosphere of the fans as they continue to cheer, before his music dies and he takes a microphone up.
Dean Nathaniel; Well, this is something of an unexpected interlude on behalf of Kennedy Wilson. What do you think the Commissioner has to say to the fans here tonight Rob?
Robert Purcell; I can only imagine it's some sort of announcement; either that or he's going to spend the next 15 minutes sucking up to the people of Vancouver. Perhaps I can catch up on some sleep.
Dean Nathaniel; Well I'm more interested in the contents of that briefcase!
Kennedy Wilson; As the Creation Wrestling Commissioner, I can't tell you how happy it makes me to see so many fans here to witness the very first Genesis live here in Vancouver, British Columbia! But...I have come out here to address you for a very specific reason. Unfortunately Creation President, my good friend Justin England can't be here tonight, but he requested that I come out to make an announcement regarding the contents of this briefcase.
Kennedy puts the microphone on the ground and kneels down, flicking the latches of the briefcase open. He opens the lid and takes out a championship belt, holding it in his right arm as he picks up the microphone again.
Kennedy Wilson; Ladies and gentlemen, this is the Creation Heavyweight Championship. This title represents everything that our wrestlers strive for, everything that the workers of this company look at and think 'that's why I'm here, for the chance to be the champion'. And with that in mind, me and Justin thought it only fair that everyone in this company - regardless of personality, history, ability - should get that chance.
Robert Purcell; Someone's been a busy Commissioner!
Dean Nathaniel; So it seems!
Kennedy Wilson; So myself and Justin decided that the fairest way to determine the first Creation Heavyweight Champion would be to hold a match - or rather, two matches. These two contests will take place before Origins at the end of the month, beginning next week. We are going to split the Creation roster in half and hold two separate battle royals, and the winner of each match will be guaranteed a place in a contest at Origins...
The crowd begin to liven up, obviously beginning to understand what Kennedy is getting at.
Kennedy Wilson; And the winner of that contest will be named the first Creation Heavyweight Champion!
The fans cheer, and Kennedy's music hits again. He holds the belt over his head and shows it to the crowd, before slipping it back into the briefcase. He closes it and walks out of the ring, acknowledging the fans again as he heads up the ramp.
Dean Nathaniel; Well Robert, it seems we have ourselves a couple of very interesting contests set up over the next couple of weeks!
Robert Purcell; My money's on Bane.
Dean Nathaniel; Why am I not surprised?
Robert Purcell; Oh come on, even you have to admit he's a pretty good bet. This is a man who is close to seven feet tall, and 350 pounds! There's not many men out there who can beat him, if any.
The opening riff of "Hate To Say I Told You So" by The Hives hits the PA, and the crowd jumps to its feet and cheers as El Kabong Jr heads to the ring wearing a long red and black jacket, his so-called family mask design embroidered onto the back. He does a multitude of silly superhero poses, and shaking people's hands before sliding under the ropes and asking for a microphone.
Dean Nathaniel; I guess El Kabong is going to set the record straight!
El Kabong Jr; Fans and citizens of Creation Wrestling...rejoice! Your newest hero has arrived, and his name is El Kabong Jr! The fire of my fury has finally spread, and now it is time for Bane and The Bane-Shees to get fully burned!
The fans cheer and start a "Rude Boy" chant, but this only confuses El Kabong Jr, who holds his hands up in protest.
El Kabong Jr; Whoa whoa whoa...hold it! What's with you folks? Who's this 'Rude Boy' character you're all talking about?
Crowd; You!
El Kabong Jr; Who?
Crowd; You!
El Kabong Jr; Who?!
Crowd; You!
El Kabong Jr; Well, I'm sorry, but you're all very much mistaken. I'm El Kabong Jr, luchadore extrodinare! Now if you'll excuse me, there's a match to be getting on with!
El Kabong throws the microphone down, having done nothing to change the crowd's mind as to who he really is.
Robert Purcell; So much for setting the record straight.
Dean Nathaniel; Well regardless of his true identity El Kabong Jr strikes me as a very exciting prospect, Robert, and if there was ever a good match to showcase your abilities, this would be it!
A loud firework explodes on the stage, and "Elevation" by U2 blasts through the arena as Enclosure walk out onto the stage. Dustin walks to both sides of the stage and points out at the fans, before turning and following Melissa quickly to the ring, as she tags the hands of the fans sat by the aisle. They roll into the ring and climb the near turnbuckles, raising their arms into the air. They climb down and discuss the upcoming match with El Kabong Jr as their music cuts.
Dean Nathaniel; This is definitely a case of the underdog. Take nothing away from these three, they have exceptional talent, but if this match were down to raw power Bane and The Bane-Shees would win it hands down.
Robert Purcell; Unfortunately for these three though Dean, we're in a match that can often rely on your power. This isn't about high-flying moves and crazy spots like a ladder match, this is about brutal force!
Dean Nathaniel; Well if you say so Robert, but that never stopped the likes of Jeff Hardy from throwing caution to the wind. Enclosure and El Kabong are certainly going to have to utilise their speed if they want to stay a step ahead in this contest.
The lights flicker on and off as a haunting piano melody plays softly out of the loudspeakers. The tune comes to an end and the lights go red as "Breath" by Prodigy blasts out of the sound system. Billy The Brilliant appears from behind the curtain to a chorus of boos. He spits and taunts at the crowd, who let out a small cheer as Kris Kraven appears. The two men walk down to the ring, looking focused as pyro goes off behind them. BTB slides into the ring and jumps around as Kraven rolls in and looks out to the crowd with a confused look. The lights return to normal and the music fades.
Dean Nathaniel; Looks like Enclosure and El Kabong are showing no signs of intimidation in this contest, Robert. They're looking well up for this match, and I'm not at all surprised.
Robert Purcell; They've all got something to prove, Dean, and backing away isn't going to do that. Course they're just staring at the monkeys right now, wait until they get to the organ grinder.
A haunting piano melody plays softly out of the loud speakers. The words 'God of Pain' flash up on the video screen and mist rises slowly from the floor. Suddenly the haunting melody stops, leaving the place in silence. With a loud crack of thunder, "Between Angels and Insects" by Papa Roach blares out of the loud speakers as the tall figure of Bane makes its way down to the ring drenched in black, Chris Cairns following and flipping the crowd off. Slowly walking, ignoring the jeers from the fans, with a sadistic grin and evil eyes, Bane climbs into the ring, as the lights begin flickering on and off. He then pulls a baseball bat out of his cloak and sets it down on the ring apron. The lights return to normal and the referee stands between the two teams, keeping them separated for the time being as he lays down the law.
Dean Nathaniel; I don't think Bane and The Bane-Shees are gonna get away with much in this match! This referee doesn't seem like the kind to put up with the usual crap!
The referee steps back and rings the bell, immediately sparking a rush forward from The Bane-Shees. El Kabong ducks a right hand from Kraven and throws him into the corner as best he can, delivering a combo of punches to the face as Melissa Cage fights off Billy The Brilliant, quickly ducking a clothesline and dropkicking him to the ground. Bane and Dustin Cage exchange right hands of their own, Dustin gaining the upper hand after a particularly hard uppercut. El Kabong delivers a snap suplex to Kraven, and he rolls from the ring clutching his back as Bane staggers into the corner. Dustin calls over Melissa and the two double team Bane, taking turns to deliver kicks to the midsection. El Kabong walks over to the opposing corner and calls over to Enclosure.
Dean Nathaniel; I think El Kabong is about to show us what he's made of!
Enclosure step well out of the way as El Kabong runs forward and leaps over Bane, who spins around, turning right into a springboard moonsault from the cruiser! The crowd pop for Kabong as he takes Bane off his feet, hopping right back up as Bane rolls out of the ring himself. Billy The Brilliant and Kris Kraven convene on the outside, and Chris Cairns looks on in despair as Dustin and Melissa grab a hand each and whip Kabong towards them. He dives over the top rope onto The Bane-Shees, but the two men see it coming and catch Kabong in mid-flight.
Dean Nathaniel; I don't think that worked too well...but wait a minute, wait a minute!
Dustin grabs Melissa and whips her towards the trio, and she dives through the ropes, knocking all three men onto the ground! The fans cheer as the four lie down and out on the floor, nursing their bumps and bruises as Dustin Cage walks over, looking on at the carnage. Bane gets back into the ring quickly wielding a chair, sneaking up behind Dustin and nailing him in the kidneys with it! Dustin slumps to the canvas holding his lower back in pain as Chris Cairns quickly reaches under the apron, taking a table out and pushing it into the ring. Bane walks over and picks the table up.
Robert Purcell; If Melissa and El Kabong don't pick themselves up soon they could find themselves a man down, fast!
Dean Nathaniel; Well on the one hand, yes, but the rules of this match would allow Dustin Cage to continue even after he, theoretically, had been eliminated.
Robert Purcell; That's if he could muster the strength to get up!
Bane sets the table up in the centre of the ring and walks over to Dustin, picking him up and lifting him high into the air! The crowd cry out in fear as Dustin is raised high over the table, but Melissa reaches in and grabs Bane by the foot. Bane lets Dustin drop to the ground and turns around, reaching over the top rope and grabbing Melissa by the hair, dragging her onto the apron. Melissa struggles to try and get away from his grasp, but Bane whips her along the apron, sending her running into the ringpost and slumping to the ground with a loud thud!
Dean Nathaniel; Oh my god, did you hear that thud Rob?
Robert Purcell; The sheer power on display from Bane here is amazing!
Bane goes back over to Dustin Cage as he crawls his way across the ring. He reaches down and grabs Dustin, tossing him into the corner and pummelling him with right hands. Satisfied with the beating, Bane walks Dustin into the middle of the ropes and sets up a belly to belly suplex, tossing Dustin towards the table, but El Kabong Jr manages to drag the table out of the way just in the nick of time! Dustin rolls out of the ring as Kabong shoves the table aside, charging at Bane and soaring through the air, nailing him in the head with a dropkick. Bane staggers back into the ropes and Kabong stands up, hitting the opposing ropes and charging back with a clothesline, and both men fall to the outside. The Bane-Shees are quickly back up, and they enter the ring with a table in hand.
Dean Nathaniel; Looks like The Bane-Shees are following Bane's lead!
Billy sets up the second table, leaning it against the corner as Kraven stands the first one back up nearby, close to the ropes. El Kabong sets up a table on the outside as Enclosure get into the ring behind The Bane-Shees, surprising them. Melissa dropkicks Kraven in the back of the head, sending him flying to the outside as Dustin delivers a number of right hands to Billy The Brilliant, whipping him across the ring and delivering a tilt-o-whirl backbreaker! Billy holds his back in immense pain from the impact as Dustin grabs the table that Billy set up, standing it in the middle of the ring next to the first one, which Melissa pushes into the center. Dustin lifts Billy up and rolls him onto the table.
Dean Nathaniel; It seems Dustin Cage is all about getting the job done right now, Robert.
Dustin calls to El Kabong Jr, who quickly gets onto the apron as the crowd begin another confusing - at least to El Kabong - chant of "Rude Boy!". Melissa keeps a close eye on Kris Kraven, standing outside the ring and kicking him as he leans against the barricade. El Kabong slaps the top turnbuckle with his hand and begins to climb up, the fans willing him on. He gets up, but before he gets the chance to do anything, Bane shakes the top rope. El Kabong falls crotch-first onto the top buckle, dropping to the canvas. Bane climbs in and is immediately confronted by Dustin Cage, but Bane grabs him by the throat and hurls him over the top rope. Billy gets off the tables, lying on the canvas to recover himself as Bane grabs El Kabong. He lifts Kabong to his knees, but Melissa Cage runs in and jumps onto his back, hanging on with a sleeper hold.
Dean Nathaniel; Melissa Cage is a lot tougher than I thought, Robert! Bane seems to be struggling a little!
Robert Purcell; This is just the calm before the storm! Melissa Cage is stupider than I thought if she thinks she can keep Bane down with a sleeper hold!
Bane drops to one knee, Melissa on her feet as he tries to breathe through the sleeper. Bane suddenly stands up quickly and begins to walk, heading straight towards the tables, and grabbing Melissa by the head. Without a seconds hesitation he snapmares Melissa over his shoulder, and straight through one of the tables! The crowd cries out, most of them understanding Melissa's pain as Bane stands over her menacingly, laughing. Bane turns around as the crowd jeer, and is immediately caught in the face by a dropkick from El Kabong Jr! Bane staggers back a little and El Kabong follows up, sliding through Bane's legs. Bane reaches down to try and grab Kabong, but Kabong springs off the ropes, hitting a springboard cross body!
Dean Nathaniel; Well Melissa Cage is down and out Robert, and it's down to Kabong and Dustin Cage!
Robert Purcell; I told you she couldn't do Bane any harm! She paid the price for her stupidity!
Dean Nathaniel; El Kabong Jr is certainly making a go of it!
Kris Kraven and Billy get back up quickly, attacking El Kabong as Bane picks himself up. The three men surround El Kabong, who fights them off as best he can, until Dustin Cage hits the ring and begins to throw punches at them. Chris Cairns shouts support to Bane and The Bane-Shees from ringside, as the three men fight off their opponents. Billy and Kris double team Dustin Cage in the corner as Bane shoves El Kabong into the opposite one. The referee takes his eye away for a minute and pushes the standing table aside, clearing some of the debris from around Melissa Cage, and helping her out of the way as best he can while the other five continue to go at it. Dustin Cage suddenly finds a spark and bursts out of the corner, knocking back The Bane-Shees, and flooring both men with two explosive uppercuts!
Dean Nathaniel; There's life in this match yet!
Robert Purcell; Won't be much as soon as Bane gets his way!
Bane turns around as Cage runs across, but finds himself floored by a massive flying clothesline. Dustin takes a moment to check on Melissa and El Kabong, before running over and picking up the second table. He holds it over his shoulder and spins around, slamming the surface into the heads of Billy and Kraven, before running over and smacking the end into Bane's head. The crowd will him and his tag partners on as he sets the table in the middle of the ring, grabbing Kris Kraven and delivering a pair of right hands. He rolls Kraven onto the table and hammers him with right hands, tearing across and sending Bane to the outside of the ring again as soon as he gets up.
Dean Nathaniel; Smart strategy from Dustin Cage, keeping Bane well away from the situation.
Robert Purcell; Didn't work last time.
Dean Nathaniel; Well regardless of success rate, it certainly makes things easier for Enclosure and El Kabong!
Dustin turns around and meets Billy The Brilliant with a right hand, backed up by El Kabong Jr. The two men subdue Billy and push him into the corner, before El Kabong turns around and begins to deliver right hands to Kraven again. Dustin lifts Billy The Brilliant up onto the top rope, and the crowd begin to sense something big as he pushes Billy's legs to the outside of the top rope. Dustin continues to hammer Billy with right hands as he ascends, climbing up and tucking Billy's head under his right arm. He stands up and looks around at the fans, who begin to slowly stand in unison. El Kabong gets well out of the way and points over to Dustin as he lifts Billy The Brilliant up, Dustin's feet standing on the top rope.
Dean Nathaniel; This is gonna be huge, Robert!
Dustin lifts Billy up with one huge haul and raises him into the air, delivering a super Northern Lights suplex and driving Billy through his own partner, and the table! The fans are on their feet as Dustin Cage takes out both of The Bane-Shees in one fell swoop with Locked Away! Chris Cairns has his hands on his head, looking exasperated at the team's apparent ineptitude as Bane is the last remaining member of the team!
Dean Nathaniel; An unbelievable move by Dustin Cage, and suddenly things aren't quite so rosy for Bane's little team! Just look at Chris Cairns' face, he is not a happy man!
Robert Purcell; Can you blame him?
Dustin Cage lies on the ground, The Bane-Shees in a pile of splinters behind him as Bane gets onto the apron. El Kabong sees him and runs over with an attempted baseball slide, but Bane sidesteps and El Kabong slides out onto the floor. Bane leaves him alone and gets into the ring, grabbing Melissa Cage as she finally picks herself up. He sets for a chokeslam, but Melissa manages to counter, catching him by the head and delivering a DDT! Bane's head hits the ground with a thud as Melissa rolls away, and Bane stands back up dizzily. Melissa slides out of the ring close to the table set up by El Kabong Jr earlier, grabbing Bane by the right ankle and doing her best to distract his attention as Dustin Cage gets up.
Dean Nathaniel; Looks like Melissa Cage has a trick up her sleeve, and unfortunately for Bane, it doesn't include pulling a rabbit out of a hat!
Chris Cairns quickly makes his presence felt, running over and grabbing Melissa as Dustin sees what Melissa is trying to do. Melissa lets go, turning around and slapping Cairns in the face as Dustin runs towards Bane. Bane quickly turns around as Dustin attempts an attack, catching Dustin and lifting him over his head, before dropping him over the top rope in one swift motion, and straight through the waiting table! Melissa Cage turns around and looks down in shock as Dustin is left shattered in the table, Bane once again the culprit. Melissa tries to get Dustin going again as Chris Cairns takes out another table, sliding it in the ring again as Bane picks it up.
Dean Nathaniel; This is one hell of a match.
Robert Purcell; And now we're down to Bane and El Kabong Jr! Guess how this one is going to finish!
Dean Nathaniel; I don't think anyone knows, Robert. This match has had more twists and turns than your average racing track! A moment ago it looked like Bane was the one dropping through a table, and now it's Dustin Cage lying on the ground!
Bane picks up the table and stands it against the turnbuckle, climbing out of the ring and grabbing El Kabong Jr. El Kabong quickly bursts up and begins to swing right hands up at Bane's face, surprising the big man. Bane drops to one knee momentarily and El Kabong jumps up, looking for a hurracanrana, but Bane pushes him up and over his head, El Kabong smacking his chin on the apron! The crowd "ooh's" and "aah's" as El Kabong rolls around holding his jaw in pain, and Bane quickly picks him up, throwing him into the ring. He grabs the top half of the ringsteps and hurls them over the top rope, the steel steps making a crash as they hit the canvas. El Kabong lies on the ground recovering briefly as Bane climbs in.
Robert Purcell; El Kabong doesn't stand a chance here, Dean. Melissa is too busy looking out for Dustin, who funnily enough just hapens to be lying on his ass, through that table over there. And then there's The Bane-Shees.
Dean Nathaniel; To be fair, Robert, The Bane-Shees might be a while.
Bane climbs in and quickly rolls Kraven and Billy The Brilliant out of the ring, seemingly getting them out of the way. He kicks away the reminents of the table and grabs the intact one from against the turnbuckle, standing it near the corner and placing the ringsteps next to it. He grabs El Kabong and walks him over quickly, but Melissa Cage sees the predicament and jumps onto the apron. Bane turns around and walks over, but Melissa grabs him by the head, dropping down and choking Bane on the top rope. Bane bounces back into the centre of the ring, turning around as Melissa hits a missile dropkick! The crowd are well behind Melissa as Bane is knocked to the canvas, and Chris Cairns curses on the outside of the ring.
Robert Purcell; God damnit, will someone get her out of the ring?
Dean Nathaniel; She's as much right to be there as anybody else, and she's making a real effort while she's at it!
Melissa helps El Kabong up, and the two hammer Bane with right hands, keeping the big man from doing anything. They lift Bane up and drag him around the table into the corner, lifting him up to his feet slowly. They work together and lift Bane onto the top rope, sitting him on the top buckle. Seeing Bane in trouble, a still groggy Kris Kraven reaches into the ring and grabs Melissa as she gets back down, dragging her out of the ring. Melissa quickly comes back with a few right hands as Chris Cairns runs over, interfering again, and throwing Melissa to the ground by the back of her head. Seemingly oblivious to the action on the outside, El Kabong backs away to the opposite corner from Bane, looking around at the crowd and pointing his hands into the air.
Dean Nathaniel; I think El Kabong has something special in store for Bane!
El Kabong Jr charges forward and runs up the steps and the table, using them as a springboard, and launching himself up onto Bane's shoulders! Kabong looks to hit a frankensteiner, but Bane reaches around with his arms and powerbombs El Kabong through the table! The bell sounds, and the fans chant "holy s**t!" as El Kabong is taken out of the contest! Bane climbs down from the turnbuckle, surveying the destruction all around him with as much of a smile as he can muster after such a physical contest. Chris Cairns climbs in and pushes the referee away, raising his own man's hand into the air as the crowd jeers.
Dean Nathaniel; What an unbelievable contest!
Robert Purcell; That was a phenomenal performance from Bane! He eliminated the entire opposing team virtually on his own...and by virtually I mean completely!
Bane and Chris Cairns take a moment to survey the crowd, laughing, before climbing out and heading up the ramp. The Bane-Shees slowly pick themselves up and follow them up the ramp as Melissa and Dustin Cage slowly begin to get up, looking up at the foursome briefly, before getting into the ring and helping El Kabong Jr up.
Dean Nathaniel; One thing is for sure, Robert, when these superstars meet again we are going to be in for a Grade A matchup, and that could be as soon as next week in the first battle royal!
Robert Purcell; Well for their own sake, the rest of them have gotta hope they don't come up against Bane!
Dean Nathaniel; That remains to be told, Robert, but for tonight, The Bane-Shees - and particularly Bane - have had the last laugh!
The camera zooms in on Bane, Cairns and The Bane-Shees as they stand at the top of the ramp. The Bane-Shees walk away, and Chris Cairns pats Bane on the shoulder, walking off as the camera zooms in on Bane. He looks down at the fallen trio, laughing, before turning and walking off stage.
