If the world were lies,
Why would we try?
             Why up the puzzle?
             When the puzzle's
             Broken?

If fire was free,
             What would it burn?
...
If rainbows didn't fall,
             Where would they go?
             Would the sky
             Swallow them up
             And hoard their light?
If the world were black,
             Would we see darkness?

If the world were truths
             In the colors of sleep
             We would try to
             Avoid thinking

Silver winds weeping

             From flooding the earth
Blue cold burning
             From whitening the world
