This was our very first pay-per-view event that started through King of the Ring matches every Thursday night on Smackdown!

The Winner was to become the very first WWF Undisputed Champion and the loser would be the new World Heavyweight Champion.

Triple H and Samsonite faced off in their ver first match and gave it all they got! They had a normal match-up and had nice warm weather this day too! But finally after Pedigreeing Samsonite, Triple H became the WWF Undisputed Champion! Thus, Samsonite became the new World Heavyweight Champion!
