| Title: Santana Nintendo Homecoming mascot! 2002-2003 Medium: Pencil and my fat LePlume brush pen (Photoshop 5.5 for the colored version) Comments: This is the mascot I designed for the homecoming shirts that ASB wears for the homecoming game ^_^ Our theme this year is "Nintendo," which totally kills every other school's theme =P I had this idea from the very first day we started our ideas for the shirts, and I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out, although I wish I could have made Yoshi look more sultan-ish... But everyone says it looks fine, so it's all good ^_^ I also did some other sketches for scenery and characters, so maybe I'll put that up if I have time... (except, I'm extremely disgusted with the way those ones came out, partly because I had to render a 3-D picture to 2-D, and another because I had to make up the dynamics and pose >_<) Actually, I remember drawing several copies of this picture as a kid, so that certainly came in handy ^_^ And... ack! Now I can draw any Mario character off the top of my head! Heheheheheheheheh =P |
