| Title: Dream Gate Medium: Pencil, Micron Pen, Adobe Photoshop 6.0 Comments: Got the idea for this one when I found the background off of a nice fractal site ^_^ This came out almost exactly how I pictured it, so I'm quite happy... although there were a few kinks I had to work out. The design on the kimono was the worst, because I was trying to make it look like it wasn't all just some big pattern cut out in a specific shape... so I did little sections with the pattern to make it look realistic, but it still doesn't seem right =/ The shading on the kimono is so dark too, because if it was any lighter, you wouldn't be able to see it... oh well... Flowers were added as a last minute touch, and I think it adds to it ^_^ You probably can't see it, but the girl there has a butterfly necklace that kinda got lost in the shrinking =/ And also... perspective...= evil |
