Craig Buchanan is a 35-year-old Scot, based in Perth, Western Australia, who (thankfully) does not make a habit of writing about himself in the third person.
In the latter half of his 35 years, he has been, at various times, an employee of Her Britanic Majesty's Foreign and Commonwealth Office, a part-time bar manager, a sailor, a club bouncer, a university tutor, a candidate for political office, and, once, if only for a week, a home security salesman on the streets of Dundee, where people with tatoos and large dogs explained gently and politely why they didn't intend to buy his product.
In an attempt to better his Scrabble score, Craig has worked tirelessly to put a number of letters after his name, including BA(Hon) and MPhil. A graduate of the Universities of Stirling and St Andrews, he has to-date been unable to combine these letters to spell anything meaningful, but intends to keep trying. Persistence, he has been assured, is a virtue. So too is pig-headedness.
Craig recently became a published writer, and is currently employed in the tertiary education sector.
