My Placement Year in Stuttgart, Germany |

One of my student years was spent on placement in a research and development department of Robert Bosch GmbH in Stuttgart in the South of Germany. Apart from my work with the company, I spent some time and money in travelling around western-europe with other placement students that I had made friends with during the year. Some of the people I met only stayed for 3 or 6 months, depending on the requirements of their course of study, although some , like myself spent a whole year there, and had a great time! I made 7 or more good friends during this time, including Julien Roch (France), Bastian Collin (France), Martin Werz (Germany), Tobias Freund (Germany), Sandra Niblock (Northern Ireland), Achim Brockhoff (Germany) and Emma Rollins (Northern Irelend) whom I still see and talk with frequently. Some of the places we visited together include Prague, Flaine (France), Amsterdam, Paris, Berlin, Nurnberg, Munich, Strasbourg and many more. The following photo's were taken during some of the great parties we had and on the trips around Europe. |
