These two poems are based on William Blakes Songs of Innocence and Experience. me and my friend light wrote them in our english lit class!
Innocence

The sun did arise.
We played over the hills,
While larks sang in the skies.
The innocent joy of those little pink pills.

Following a lamb leaping over the hills,
He lead us to a bright lit space,
Oh the wonders of our pink pills,
The lamb had a smile on his face.

As the sun did gradually sink,
We turned home to tea.
Oh little pills why are you pink?
I think it was because God made thee!
Experience

The sun was falling from the skies.
We went back across the hills,
And only God did hear our cries,
We wanted to blame the pills.

Father came in robes of black,
The walls were dark forbidding stone.
Father chained us to the rack,
A factory had overturned our home!
