The first in of the series, Johnny discovers that there is another like him. Though her past is different then his, Lindsie Ross, is his only connection and help to stop Greg Stillson as the two investigate two women who were connected to Stillson and his womanizing.

            Lindsie’s delving into the darker side grows as she and Johnny split up to try and catch Stillson. However, Lindsie’s delving may cause Johnny to loose his one friend as both attempts to not only catch Stillson but stop a high school murder at Lindsie’s school.

            With Lindsie in league with Stillson, Johnny has to watch his back as he fights to keep his personal war a secret. But he and Lindsie are placed against each other as Stillson and Walt both go searching for a missing family.

 After seeing Bruno murder the missing family on Stillson’s orders, Lindsie runs and is discovered by Johnny. To traumatized to talk Johnny, using Bruce’s mother as his only hope to hide her, must force his way into her mind and try and bring her back in order to face a climatic finish.*

'Thanks for the Memories' It is also the title of a song performed by Fall Out Boy and I swiped it because when I first heard this song it was as if it was written for Lindsie and her relationship with Johnny and the rest of the Dead Zone cast!!!
