Okay, I'm sure everyone has a familiar question to ask any writer (Fan fic or other) and here's my commonly asked and the ones I'm sick of answering.

Turtles! WTF!

I was raised with TWO brothers! They watched turtles! I personally fell in love with Raph! We were in the same boat..temper...no outlets, compared to our siblings! It was perfect. Now with my first niece nephew coming, I plan on sharing the Sherlock Holmes and the TMNT!

When are you going to add more fan-fic?

Add more? MORE! Isn't there enough for you! Oh well, I'm currently working on several stories. The Enemy Within, Snapshots, Unhealed Wounds, Golden Key, The Kidz Alright and Blacklisted. It's a bit slow going but I'm still working my butt off on em. Plus I've been hard at work with my novel, The King's Woodsmen, and well that's been taking more of my time. But what you don't know is that I've got more written in notebooks then typed up. (I SUCK at typing this stuff up...It's called procrastination!) But if you REALLY want to know about the updates in stories, keep looking at the new updates page. It will make your life easier.

Do you do collaborations?

It depends on who it's with. I will collaborate with writers I know and have been working with for a long time in say an RPG or in some other place (IE: school, work, stables, other) If you are a new fan fic writer however that IMs me out of the blue and says I want to write you be prepared to be laughed at and placed under SEVERE scrutiny.

Why is is called SVU Fan Fic Haven when you have other fan fic on it as well?

Truth be told, I was writing fan fic before I even came across Law and Order Special Victims Unit. However when I started to write the SVU fan fic, I was generally going to create it  as only one place. But now as my other fan fics gain love from fans, I'm working on bringing them into one large site.

So, are you planning to keep the site named SVU Fan Fic Haven?

The SVU part yes.

The characters like Tory Munch and Max Strummer, how do they fit into the SVU time line?

Very Loosely. I have to admit the fun part of writing fan fiction is that you can have the characters do whatever YOU want as long as they stay in their true form as the original creator made them.

Where do you get your ideas?

Mr. Bimbel who lives in my thumb tells me what to write. And when I'm on medication, I can usually see something staring me in the face. Seriously though (I don't have a Mr. Bimbel....though at times, well there is always my doppelganger!) I've written long enough of short stories and some novels and poems to know that ideas are all around and you just have to know which what if questions to ask.

If  I send you an Idea or a request will you write it?

HA! No. I wouldn't do it justice and it would make me feel miserable. If you want a story written you write it. It's like the who smelt it dealt it rule!

Who does all the graphics for the site?

I do! Each take about a half hour to make, so I tend to make a clump of them. That's why they are always on the site even when they don't have a story up yet. I'm not the one to fumble with the graphics while trying to write the stories.

Some one once said that you call your characters 'muses', why?

Listening to gossip now? Well in Greek Mythology a muse was some one who gave artistic assistance. My muses come in forms of Characters. Naturally my real muse is any picture of Viggo Mortensen or Jason Stratham, but Characters work just as well!

When you write them?

As of 2007, anytime I'm not in pain. Well they are all in notebooks and a few have been placed up but in the long run the back is too wrecked to sit up for a long time to type em up.

What about school or a life? It sounds like you live in hospitals, chaos and writing?

Yes, what about school! I attended college for a semester but the place was all ready up for about seven months before then. Doing the main college student thing and running out of money, I returned home penniless and became a waitress. Now, since I was a kid, I have been writing and have written novels that have yet to be published. My brother got cancer and I continued to write, my mom got a tumor and I wrote...sorta, my grandfather got sick and I can't imagine NOT Writing with him! Now, I'm just trying to get back into the regular chaos of life....work, Physical Therapy, writing, and talking with my friends.

As for the chaos? I'm use to it, I haven't had two years of anything but it! (Currently we are working on three years of it!)

Novels, eh? Can we read them on the site?

What the fan fic isn't good enough?

Seriously! What about the novels!!

No the novels are not up to be read due to copyright laws and I don't want them to be swiped. If they are published, I'll let ya know!

Do you have any quirks when writing a story?

Plenty, Everyone has quirks. Mine are that I NEED a candle lit when I write. I usually write in the dark and the candle is the only light I use to read the notebooks and the computer. I don't eat until I've got at least half of what I want done (Which might be the reason why Breakfast is never eaten!)

Where do you get all the music you use?

My own collection. I have thousands of tastes and it shows through out the books. Tory Munch has listened to music from Melissa Etheridge to Mozart. My collection in music ranges from ACDC to Lisa Loeb. Will all of my strange tastes come into the stories....some of it all ready has! Will the musicals? I dunno.

Who is your favorite character?

Oh geez, Here's the run down.

Max Strummer- She was the one I first used and Max and I have been through a lot. Cancer, moving, Hospitals, and funerals. We see each other as sisters.

Tory Munch-  What a little hellion! Who doesn't love her!

Charlie Spencer- One of the newer kiddies I'm using, Charlie has proven his stripes to me in well more ways then one. He is always willing to have a come back to anything asked.

Billie O'Conner- Actually Billie is a Supernatural RPG made up. She was having so much fun with the boys in the RPG that she wanted to hang out with them in fan fic. Plus she and Dean where going on flirting sprees way too much!

I've got more but at the present those are my favorites.

Do you need any Betas?

Everyone that reads the fan fic are my Betas. I'm always willing to go back and look over things.

Why so many different fan fics?

Because I like so many different things.

Doctor Who? Are you sure that's a real show?

YES! It's a real show. It's my newest addiction (besides Heist and Supernatural) The doctor is a time lord who doesn't remember who he is. His main weapon is called a Sonic Screwdriver and it's been around for a LONG time. Currently it's shown on the Sci-Fi channel with the ninth Doctor and on the BBC with the Tenth doctor (who I'm using as the Doctor's face) staring David Tennant.

What's your main writing music?

Musicals. They get the muses flowing. I've also got hard rock and classical. My music goes from ACDC to Lisa Loeb and Mozart! Soundtracks are also nice!

And that's it. If you have a question for the Frequently asked things about me or the fan fic just e-mail me and I'll send a reply and plop it here. (Mom that doesn't mean ask me if I'm planning to reconnect with any of my exboyfriends that you liked!

Thanks to:

Donnie and Mark Wahlberg for being AWESOME MUSES! Seriously look in their eyes and it's drool city! Mark with his bad ass features and Donnie with those sensitive eyes and gentle voice (don't judge him by SAW II and III alone!)

Fall Out  Boy--The music group that feeds the muses. Most don't get along with each other on music choices but when I pop in one of their cds everyone seems to have a fun time grooving.

My Fans!--Dana specially with you. I can't believe this started out as a one angry night of not finding any decent Stabler and Munch fan fic. Now it's grown to have  a life of it's own.

To the people who created Front page.....Thank you for making it easier on my poor rusty HTML mind. I haven't used HTML since Seventh Grade and well Front page makes it easier.

The Brainwave--Dana, Erica, EC....what would I do with out you kiddies!
