They worked out of what use to be an old high school since their lab was destroyed in Katrina. They were the first to return because crime doesn’t sleep. As life slowly becomes normal in Katrinaville, the Crime lab and detectives that work with them attempt to keep it peaceful.
Marley Jordan, CSI-
One of the few CSIs that remained, Marley survived Katrina in the Superdome. Since then she's been terrified of water and closed in spaces. Trained in Vegas, Marley kept a close contact with Hodges and the others at the lab. Dating Ray Gavin, Marley hasn't told anyone that they are sleeping and living together. After all it would be dangerous for all of them.
Her skills are mainly film restoration and ballastics.

Detective Ray Gavin-
A skilled detective, Ray lost his home during Katrina. A skilled fighter, Ray also stayed in the Superdome. Best friend to Marley, he is also sleeping with her. Still a good cop, Ray is a gentle man who most believe doesn't have a mean streak in his body.
Father to a seven year old, Ray isn't on good terms with his mother. Barely seeing his son, Ray has attempted to get rights to legally take him but so far no judge agrees with him.
