| Cartoon Reviews Why do I not have just one big section for animation, you ask? Well, Cartoons and anime are different so :P! Anyway, um, yes.... Invader Zim Grade: A+++++++++++++++ (can you tell this is a personal favorite of mine?) When its on: Usually Fridays at 8:30 (central) and Sundays at 12:00 and 12:30. Network: Nickelodeon (blah, I hate them) Audience its directed towards:Well, since its on Nick, obviously children, but there is a much larger fanbase of teenagers and adults. Its just a good show for everyone! (plus it was created by Johnny the Homocidal Maniac creator Jhonen Vasquez, so it does have a more adult humor to it) Plot: Zim is an alien. Once, when trying to help his planet (Irk) conquer other planets, he started destroying BEFORE he left Irk... He was banished to FoodCourtia but quit when he heard about another invading mission. The Tallest (the leaders of the Irks) sent Zim to Earth to get rid of him. Here on Earth Zim met his archnemesis Dib who is a dorky paranormal investigator wannabe. The show also features a stupid robot and Dib's scary sister. Good stuff: The animation, the voice actors, the humor....EVERYTHING! Bad stuff: it was cancelled -sniff-snif |

| Kim Possible Grade: B+ When its on: Fridays at 5:30 (central) Network: Disney Channel (blah, I hate them too) Audience its directed towards: Children, pre-teens, teenagers Plot: Kim Possible is a cheerleader/super spy who has to save the world every episode. She is hindered (and once in a while helped) by her partner Ron Stoppable (I think he's also a cheerleader) and his pet naked mole rat. Good stuff: The show is pretty funny, especially the villains and Ron's bad summer camp experiences. Bad stuff: Kim's a cheerleader. |
