******** UPDATE********
So much has happened since beginning this web site....I have now been taking my "miracle drug" Copaxone for little over a year....other than the daily reminders of ms and a few flare ups, I am still considering this drug the tool that has brought me from my wheelchair to where I am today, walking with little or no assistance. Even though with ms I know things can change instantly, my life is definately better because of this drug. Along with the medicines I am on, I attribute my successes to my wonderful ms specialist Dr. Ben Thrower of the
MS Center at Shepherd in Atlanta GA. He alone after more than 6 other neurologists has been able to get me on the therapy that is right for me. With ms we are all so different, what works for one may not for another...so please!!!! If the therapy you are currently on is not helping or making some kind of difference in your life, seek advice on other therapies from your doctor...and also more importantly if your current doctor will not discuss other options in therapies with you...it is time to get a NEW doctor!!! After seeking for so long and as many doctors as I visited, I knew that Dr. Thrower was my choice to be on my side against this disease. The 9 hour trip I make to see him and the wonderful people at the Shepherd Center is worth every mile...
Thank you for visiting my site and I hope you enjoy your visit here...please take a moment and sign my guestbook!!!!
