You know what? I don�t think that the world will ever get rid of its intolerance. There will always be those who believe that they are better, or that the other is wrong. But you see in the world that we live in it can�t be helped. Why can�t it be helped? One word. Religion. Religion not only causes intolerance, it is perpetuates it from generation to generation. You believe in one thing, someone else believes in something else, one is fool hardy and says they are wrong, and then uses the term for what they are as an insult, and there is intolerance, then it being passed along. Then there is the religious scripture, all of which is intolerant. This religion is right, it is wrong to be gay, it is wrong to have abortion, we have souls and u must follow us or you go to hell, and you must try to save your neighbors. But they don�t wasn�t to be saved, u take it as the hate you, so u hate them, u bad mouth them and what they are, boom there is religious scripture causing it. Then there is just idiocy that causes. Look at the KKK. No where in any religion does it expressly say that whites are the best, or that Americans are the best, but they still believe that. And then there is the no other religion is right. Well, how do u know that? O yeah, you don�t. And then the Nazis. Where the hell did they get the idea that Germans with blue eyes, blond hair, and are white protestant were the best? I mean I mind as well tell you that Minoans with red hair that are left handed are the best and only legitimate people. IN the 20th century the big deal was race. It was what most people were intolerant about. Terms like, excuse me for saying this, Nigger, Chink, Negro, Whop, Kike, and many other terms were used widely. It was said that it was changed, that discrimination would no longer exist, but it is still here, just not as much, or as public. Snide remarks, or stupid jokes, or stupid phrases that all have to do with things that should not matter. Race is a hot pot issue, but now a new deal is homosexuality. This is open unaccepted as unacceptable behavior, and is a sure fire way for you to be sent to hell, cast out of your family, and he hurled constantly derogatory terms. That is changing. 4 countries allow gay marriage and equal gay rights, but the one that unfortunately matters, the US; mind as well keep them in camps. That is untrue, they have basic freedom, but that extra bit that makes life nice is not always there. It is legal in 38 states to fire someone because they are homosexual. In 48 states it is illegal for homosexual marriages. If your partner or lover is injured and sent to a hospital you may not visit them because only family members or married partners may visit. You can call someone a fag or gay and not get in trouble at school or anything, and I should know. I, unfortunately, live in Orange County, the hot bed California capitol of republicans, racists, and intolerance. I go to a high school where fag is in every sentence, the word, please excuse me, nigger is used in conversations constantly, and Other words and phrases like bean, chink, and towel head mind as well be accepted because it isn�t going to change. When I was in 6th grade I was discriminated by the kids for being a Jew. I got ketchup splattered on me because of it. That is not very nice, and what have the Jews ever done? I mean seriously, they never committed mass genocide, then never started wars for religion, they never send people door to door, what makes people so intolerant of Jews? Or homosexuals, I mean the same thing, they didn�t do anything. Aids? That was some people in Africa that ate monkeys that had it and would handle it, but humans couldn�t and then they had sex and so on until it got around the world and Homosexuals are more likely to have it supposedly so they are blamed. They are just as likely as straight people to rape or molest or touch kids and teens, so what have they done to deserve this? Be different. Most people don�t like difference, or most Americans don�t, so they wont accept it, brand it as bad and unacceptable, it passes around, is accepted, and then they need 200 years to be the last ones to figure out that it doesn�t matter, that you are getting in a huff over nothing.
