Nurses

It was a story about trainee nurses complaining at the skimpiness of the uniforms they were being expected to wear, so how could I not put Kenneth Williams in? It’s the law.

Truth be told, I’m not at all fond of seaside postcard humour, so it was a pleasure to draw something where the woman comprehensively gets her own back for the inevitable smutty double entendre (which I took care to allude to rather than actually make. Gosh, but I’m clever). And it provided the perfect excuse for a gratuitous Animaniacs reference, too. If only I’d had the time, I might have tried to squeeze in Hattie Jacques.
