| CRAZY LADY LIVELY WINS THE CHICAGO MARATHON!! | |||
| Okay, so she didn't come in first at
the Chicago Marathon, held on Sunday, October 10th, 2005 in the Windy
City, but she finished above and beyond what she thought she would,
which means she's a winner in our book! Melanie "Crazy Lady" Lively (bib #20378 ) showed the world what she's made of when she finished 31,275 out of 40,000! She had an average pace of 13:25 overall for the 26.2 mile marathon, with an official finish time of 5:52:10 -- AWESOME!! "TODAY, YOU ARE ALL KENYANS" was a sign displayed at the race -- we're sure that Kenya would be super proud to claim Melanie as one of their own, but WE'VE got her, so ha ha -- and boy, are we proud!! |
