This page is dedicated to the people who have made a difference in my life Famous & Non-famous, I feel they deserve a little respect (some of them deserve a lot) Aerosmith: The best group in the world by far, the "Boston Bad Boys" first released an album back in 1973, since then they have become the biggest Rock group in America and are still going strong. Click on the name for more info and AeroQuiz. Bon Jovi, Creed, Def Leppard, Guns N' Roses, Led Zeppelin, Live and Matchbox 20: Just a select few of my favorite groups that any "True" Rock fan should check out. Click on the band name for more info. Tenacious D - One of the Coolest and "the funniest" bands round at the moment! Johnny Depp, Ben Stiller, Mike Myers, Jack Nicholson: Probably four of the coolest people ever to be in entertainment, some of the few actors who haven't been jaded by success. Andrei Kanchelskis and Peter Schmeichel: The best football players ever to grace England (in my mind anyway). HBK Shawn Michaels, Undertaker, The Rock, RVD, Mick Foley (aka, Mankinda, Dude Love & Cactus Jack) the best wrestlers your ever going to see in your life, there are more I could list but these are the best of the best. And anybody who knows me should have expected to see something to do with wrestling on here. Also I'd like to say thank you to some of my good friends (your all cool!): If your surprised your not on the below list Email me and either I'll owe you a huge apology or you'll feel a fool for thinking your one of my good mates! Try me! Fallen Friends page has now moved to the members area. Dan aka Abbott, I've known him now since around Sept 04 because he's was my partner at work for over a year. It turns out we probably met a few times before knowing each other too because of other people we know. He's not exactly the sort of person I would have expected to become friends with because we're so different, yet strangely also kinda similar. Defiantly one of the coolest and of course most laid back people I know. Always seems to be able to make me laugh and cheer me up if I go to work in a mood. Even though he's a work mate I'd also have to say I now consider him one of the best friends I have, plus one of the few people I feel I can rely on and trust. He shares my views on many things, including wanting some '28 days later' thing to happen with the world, or at least Beeston. I really don't know how we've got away with some of the things we've done, guess we're just damn good at our jobs. Jon aka Jonny, One of the first people I got to patrol with when I started my new job. Plus the guy who knows ever answer I ever need. He's always got time to stop and talk on duty or off duty. And now that I've finally gone back to Morley I finally get to patrol with him again. It's great finally been on the same shift as it means I've got into so much more stuff. Camping, Climbing and Airsofting. It's great having somebody who shares my interests and has the same days off. He also introduced me to Skid Row, it's been a long time since somebody found a group I liked. Anthony aka Mullin, Ok what can be said about him, An ex-member of Captain Acorn, he's cool and has amazing taste in music (well most of the time). One of the best guitarists I've seen around here and of course that makes me jealous of him. Unfortunately he's now left for America! The good news is that because of the wonderful www, we can still keep in touch then of course there is his many visits back to his homeland. Plus I had a great trip to see him in Boston in Oct 05 and hope to go back again. Paul, We had a fight over a race (in 1993 I think). After that he became my best mate and one of the coolest people I knew. He was also involved in the 4.00am football incident. He was in his own groups Trash Heap Heroes and Awesome Waking, who unfortunately have now finished! But the good news is that the new band (The Flying Horses) have now arrived who are far better than the previous two bands. Does anyone else who knows him thing he has a look of a certain somebody about him. Ryan aka Gooders, We have been really good mates for a long time now, he was one of the first people I met when I moved to Morley. We used to play football every single night for about two years. One time I even remember a 4.00am football incident. For some strange reason he seems to have a fetish for bowling shoes. Adam aka Marshall, Well another ex-member of Captain Acorn. And he's cool too, and what a surprise he's also moved away to University but at least he's not leaving the country. This guy loves and I mean loves his Chicken. I remember the first time I ever met him I had to get him into a taxi because he was so drunk. But on the way he chased Mullin trying to get his McChicken Sandwich, fell over a lot, completely embarrassed the singing guitar man, lost his wallet, jumped out the taxi, almost got in a fight when trying to get back in the taxi. A fun night, which he remembers very little of. Mouse, I've known him quite a while now and he's still as cool as he ever was, infact probably cooler. He never has a bad word to say about anybody and always seems to be in a good mood. I believe he was also the roadie for Captain Acorn. But yet another person who's left for Uni. But we still see each other now and again as he's not moved that far. Mark, The final member of now finished Trash Heap Heroes and Awesome Waking, of course also a member of The Flying Horses. He's amazing on the guitar and I really do envy him, he has to be the best guitarist I know. The only thing I have on him is my B.C. Rich Warlock (which once was his), he sold it to me years ago and has told me since that he regrets it. I've also got to give him a lot of credit for been the first (and only) person to take a frog splash. Lynn, one of the best friends I've ever had. I've known her a long, long time. We don't see each other all that much but then I'll go out a few weekends with her into Leeds. Somebody I know I'll never fall out with. Charlotte C aka Charlie, I known her for a long time now. I first met her at Woodkirk Valley, she was with Becca who decided to walk off and leave us, so we got talking. Since then we became great mates and hopefully I'll always know her. She really is cool also gorgeous. I've probably been to the cinema more with her in my life than anyone else. Unfortunately a few of my psycho ex's have taken a dislike to her. Andrew aka Mr Ferguson, When I first met him he used to run off at lunch to meet some guy he didn't know (just to play on an arcade game). I finally got him to speak at college after a few weeks and then we became good mates. He may be a Townie but he's still makes the list. He now gets extra points for the simple fact that he's beginning to like Aerosmith, I'm still working on the full Rock makeover though. Someday he may make a serious challenge to me with his Film and Memorabilia collections, probably not though. Simon aka Si, I only see him every now and again but I'd consider him a good mate and someone I could rely on if I needed his help with anything. We go back about 9 years now and I've got a lot of memories from hanging out with him. Some quite funny, one is when we were playing tag, I dived and swung round a tree, he followed me missing the tree and fell into the swamp type thing near where we live. The funniest thing was that he somehow managed to cover exactly one half of his body in mud, the rest was clean. Mark aka Baz, I met him from when I used to play football every single night and then we hung around together for a few years. He's got the look of Angel and that's maybe why he's got a new girl every two minutes. He used to tell me that he was jealous of how good I was in goal but I think he just said that to put a smile on my face. He's also left for college but fortunately only in Huddersfield. And is also a Wrestling fan, although on occasion won't admit it, depending who's around. Lee, The person I probably see more than anyone at the moment. We go to the gym together every day, play tennis as much as we can and football. The two of us used to practice football every night after school and work, those were good times. And when we weren't doing that we just played football on the end of his street with about 4 other people. It's strange how good a game of football still is just with two people. Cale, Probably not expecting to be on here and people probably wouldn't expect him to be on here but he is, my brother. He's unfortunately a Townie and 70% of his music is poor quality listening. But all in all he's a cool person and deserves his place on here as much as anyone else. He had 4 months away in America then another year away in Cambridge but is now back home and since then we've just become better and better friends. Iain aka Little Iain, We never spoke much at college, I once through something at his head and he seemed to think it came from the other direction, hmmm. But then we had a laugh at the Christmas do (cheating to get lots of free drinks). This small but hilarious man deserves a lot more respect than he gets. Except for the fact he likes Eminem and was considering getting a tattoo across his chest. Even when we don't see each other much we seem to end up meeting at some party and always have the best of times. Jonathan aka Jonny, Well what to say about Jonny in the beginning we weren't mates because he didn't want to be seen associating with Man United Fans. And we use to hurl friendly abuse backwards and forwards at each other. After that faze had passed we became good mates. And have been ever since (except for a short period of time when he got his hair cut). It's also good to see that he's grown out of that faze where he used to just suddenly stop doing everything and rub his eyes while mumbling things to himself. We all still think he was praying. James aka Person formally know as Jim, Well he can be quite strange at times but all in all he's a good mate, the only time we've fallen out was when he lost a bet and refused to pay up, but in then end money doesn't mean anything compared to friendship. We've also tried to abolish then name J$% as it reminds us both of a certain repulsive person who we try to forget. Fletch, Another cool guy and very funny, again we don't see each other much but when we do it's a laugh. Extra credit seen as he's a fellow wrestling fan. I did use to keep him up to date though, by recording the main events. Laura, My brother's ex- girlfriend, and she's really cool too, I talk to her quite a lot and get along with her really well, so of course she's gonna get an entry on here. She has to be one of the loudest people when coming in the house on a night after drinking! Joe, somebody I've known for a long time now. we've not always seen eye to eye but are still friends. I'll never forget staying at his house for a week, apparently looking after him. ha ha. Becca N, A really cool person. Another person who I've met from going to Woodkirk Valley, but got to know her properly when she started going out with a good mate of mine, and from speaking to her online, and her coming to my parties all the time. Paul aka Knowles, I think the name says it all but here's a quote anyway: "I can have any woman in this bar!" Steve W, Somebody who I haven't seen in years, I get the odd email from him but I'll never forget the great times we used to have a college. Dan, Another member of Captain Acorn, I don't really know him all that well but he's cool enough. He never even came out much when he was around but now he's also left for Uni in America. Ben, the final member of Captain Acorn, the only one who didn't leave for Uni. I don't see him all that much but when I do he's still he's cool to talk to. And extra ponits for being a fellow Xbox owner. Kim, A strange girl but I have to say that's probably what I like about her. She's got to be the coolest person I have ever met & hope I'll know her for the rest of my life. An ex-member of Misled Vision. I've known her a good few years now, although we didn't speak for probably a year but now we are again. She always seems to be able to put a smile on my face. Probably also one the most easy people to get scared but that made a Christmas walk in Doncaster all the better. Dougie, my brothers best mates and I also know him quite well. One of the funniest people I've met and he actually gets funnier the more he drinks. He seems to like hanging upside down like me. But for some reason goes bright red a lot faster than me. Matt Hardy, not really known him that long, and don't really know him that well. Plus he's moved away to Uni but I still seem him every now & again. But I felt with a name like his he had to go on the site. Pam, somebody else who I haven't spoke to all that much in person, but have done online. She always seems really shy and so quiet. But she's really cool to talk to. Now I see her a little more because she lives on my beat. Ricky D, what a guy. I haven't seen him in a long time but will never forget him. Another wrestling fan who constantly got mocked at College for wearing Wrestling shirts. (people say I also mocked him, but I insist I never did). Robert, well an old school mate who I kinda lost touch with but have seen him a few times recently. He's really one of a kind and hopefully I will see a little more of him soon. Bev & Ian, I thought it's only fair to mention my mum and dad seen as they of course have made a big difference in my life. They are not at the bottom of the list for any reason as if it was in order of importance it would take me too long to sort and they would be at the opposite end. I couldn't really of asked for cooler parents. In fact it's not just me who thinks that, everybody who meets them seem think they're cool. Trevor, My first ever training partner at the gym, who I still occasionally train with. This is one huge guy, and very cool too! He's three times the size of me, at least. Who knows why he asked me to be his partner, maybe to make him look good! Ha ha. Whatever the reason I'm glad it happened because I wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for him. "Come on J, Big Chest! You should be lifting double that weight by now!" Justin, well when my brother returned from America he didn't come back alone. As well as having a cool name (ha ha), supporting the same football team as me and liking the same music he's one of the coolest people I've ever met. On one of his last days here me, Cale, Justin, Marshall and Mullin went to Alton Towers and it was the best day I've every had down there. But he's now returned home to Australia. Rob, another one of my brothers friends he met in America. Another one of the coolest people I've ever met, and that's now given me a good impression in general of Australian people. Unfortunately he missed out on the Alton Towers trip but I will probably always remember trying to play football and him hitting the ball down with his hand all the time, very amusing. Ash T, once again I've not known him that long but whenever I talk to him he seems cool. I talk to him on the net more than anything. And he seems to turn up at most parties I have! And at least he joins in trying to flip from his back to his feet (rather than just laughing at me, unlike most people). Also lives on my beat so I see him every now and again. Ash J, I've known him a long time now, when Paul and Mark moved away from Chruwell he moved into their house, and then we became mates. I don't really see him that much anymore but every now and again we meet up and have a laugh. Katie C, again one of the nicest people I've ever met, I've actually known her longer than most people on here because I used to hang around with her brother for a while & go round to her house to play on the computer. So I've known her about 9 years. But only recently really got to know her. Becky B, Well I've never seen her all that much since everybody stopped going to the Valley, but we talk online all the time. She one of the nicest people I've ever met and can't imagine that ever changing. Probably the person I speak to most online. James aka Clarkey, more my brothers friend than mine, but whenever we bump into each other it's a laugh. He's got to be the tallest person I've ever met. And one thing that always pops into my head when I think of him is 'Road Dog' - Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls!!!!! He also came to Las Vegas in 2005, which was one hell of a trip, one I'll always remember. Maybe we should go again and see how many free drinks we can get on the plane this time. Jamie aka Jam, What can be said about this guy. Cool just doesn't do him justice. Although we don't see each other much when we do it seems to be loads. We'll not talk for months then see each other every other day for about a month. Always a laugh to hang around with. Also depending on how he does his hair and beard etc, he either looks like Jack Black, Shane McMahon or Wolverine! James aka Wokesy, Another cool guy, but with crap taste in music. All I really need to say is that he's the guy with the longest hair I know (but that was only after Feb 21st 2004). Oh yeah and he also once let me choke slam him into a bush so Joe could borrow my guitar. Karl aka Munki, what can be said about him. He cool, and one of the funniest people I've ever met. If you ever needed cheering up then this guy could do it in minutes. Unfortunately we don't see each other much due to us both working funny hours. Katie, The girl I've known for the longest, probably about 10 years now. She used to come and annoy everyone while they were playing football because she fancied me (ha, what was she thinking). Then we finally started hanging around together for a few years. And now I only see her every now and again, but she's still a good friend & somebody I won't forget. Charlotte R, Another one of the people I've known longest whilst living in Leeds, probably about 8 years I've known her now. Unfortunalty I don't see her much at all now that I work shifts and she has a kid. But whenever I get to see her we manage to have a good talk. Luke, The longest going friend I have. The only person I still keep in touch with from Doncaster. We lost contact for a long time but then got speaking again. Then we went on the best holiday I've ever had (Las Vegas, Feb 2004). Michael, A really cool guy and the only friend I really made from my last job. Unfortunately he's now moved back to Middlesbrough. But we still keep in touch and see each other every now and again. Pete, The only friend I made out of a class of 18 on my PCSO training course. At least there was one person there who wasn't a complete suck up to the trainers though. And at least there was somebody there by my side when we were getting 'told off' for having facial hair. Hmmmm Phil, This guy is not only one of the coolest guys I've met but also one of the coolest looking. Although he does seem to prefer wearing the same shirt all the time. I'll always remember walking home from Woodkirk Valley with Mark, both of us starving and seeing Phil inside the Fish Shop which was closed, after doing a funny little walk, he posted us some bread buns out the postbox! Ray, What a guy. We don't really see each other much but when we do it's worth the wait. I'll never forget the day he told me the reason he grew his hair long was because of me, and how good my hair looked. Allison, Right well what can I say, she's a really nice person and even though we don't talk that much and never see each other every now and again we'll end up talking for hours. Danny aka Whittaker, well he's very strange but the more I've met him the more we started to get along. He was disappointed that the torch was passed to Wokes rather than him on (Feb 21st 2004). Graham, somebody I've known quite a while from going to the gym and a really cool guy. He's also one of my kickboxing instructors so I see him quite a lot. Oh and he drives buses so I seem him every now and again on & off duty because of that. James aka Jams, Someone else who I've not seen for a while, he used to be my grandma's next door neighbor so we got to know each other really well when me and Cale used to go there most weekends. A cool guy, would be nice to see him again some day soon. Sarah I, Another really cool girl who I don't really get to see that much. I met her through Becca. Every now & again there will be a night out and we'll both be there. And we always end up talking quite a lot. Claire I, Sarah's sister, I've not really spoke to her much at all because she always seems so quiet. But she seems really cool when we do talk. This is just a quick note as it's late at night, I haven't got much I can put on about the following people because they are people I work with. The fact they don't have their own entries is nothing against them. They are all cool people or wouldn't be mentioned at all, I just don't know what to put just yet: Craig N-M, John W, Ross T, Ben C, Emma J, Stan J, Eda D, Dave O, Jim F, Colin D, Dave S, Paul B, Howie M, Daz C, Derek F, Paul T, Kelly R. |
