| George Harrison was born on February 25 in 1943 in Liverpool England. He lived with his mother Louise and his father Harold. He received his first guitar at the age of thirteen and formed a band called the Rebels which didn't last long. After leaving school he tried to become an electrician but was unsucessful at it, he kept blowing things up....So he decided to become more focused on his music.. And that is when he became part of what would become the Beatles. Throughout his career as a Beatle George earned the nickname the quiet one which confused several people because George could be just as clever and quick witted as any of the other three. In the later years of the Beatles career George began writing his own songs, such as "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", "Only a Northern Song", "Here Comes the Sun" and the best "Lennon/McCartney" song ever written "Something". In 1970 when the Beatles ended George recorded a triple album entitled "All Things Must Pass" and became quite successful on his own. His private life was quite a success as well, after divorcing his first wife Patti he married Olivia Arias and in 1978 their son Dhani was born. George suffered later on in life from cancer three times and in 1999 someone broke into his and Olivia's home stabbing him, thankfully it wasn't fatal. However on November 29th, 2001 George died after a final bout with cancer leaving behind his wife Olivia and son Dhani. He had recorded half of his final album before he died and it was released, he was nominated post-humously for a Grammy. George the youngest Beatle died at age 58. |

| " Like when John died people knew where they were when they heard the new about George. I know where I was...sadly I wasn't surprised. He'd been sick for awhile. I was getting ready for school, getting socks as odd as that sounds, in my parents room, and my dad called, like he does every morning and I just...I got a bad feeling...it was like the world held still for a moment. And my mum came in and I looked at her and said, "George is dead isn't he?" And she nodded. It was just surreal...I called my friend Jess and told her, I was trying so hard not to cry and at the bus stop I saw Jess and we just hugged each other and cried for a long long time...it was raining and George was gone...the second Beatle to die...it was REALLY over then I suppose..." -Myself. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| QUOTES "When you've seen beyond yourself, then you may find, peace of mind is waiting there." "I'm a tidy sort of bloke. I don't like chaos. I kept records in the record rack, tea in the tea caddy, and pot in the pot box." "As far as I'm concerned, there won't be a Beatles reunion as long as John Lennon remains dead." "Love one another." George's last words. "The nicest thing is to open the newspapers and not to find yourself in them." |

| Never Without You By Ringo Starr We were young It was fun And we couldn't lose Times were right Overnight, we were headline news Crazy days and reckless nights Limousines and bright spotlights We were brothers through it all And your song, will play on Without you And this world won't forget, about you Every part of you was in your song Now we will carry on Never without you (never without you) Within You, Without You (Here Comes The Sun is about you) Because this song is about you Here today, not alone, with my memories Life was strange, how things change, it's reality You played a beautiful melody That keeps on haunting me I can always feel you by my side And your song (your song) will play on (play on) Without you (without you) And this world (this world) won't forget, (forget) about you (about you) Every part of you was in your song Now we will carry on Never without you (never without you) Within You, Without You (Here Comes The Sun is about you) Because this song is about you I Know All Things Must Pass And only love will last I'll always love the memory, of you and me And your song (your song) Will play on (play on) Without you (without you) And this world (this world) won't forget, (forget) about you (about you) Every part of you was in your song (your song) Now we will carry on Never without you (never without you) Within You, Without You (within you, without you) Never without you (never without you) Within You, Without You (within you, without you) We're never without you (never without you) We're never without you (never without you) Within You, Without You (within you, without you) I think love is about you |
