Hi! I am the one who created this website. My name is Anthony Hernandez and I am nineteen years old. I currently live in northeast Ohio. When I first became a Christian I was sixteen, and I progressed into the Gothic subculture at seventeen. (Thus I've been a goth for about two years). My musical tastes range all the way from CCM to black metal. I can write some pretty good poetry, some of which will be up on this site. I enjoy intellectual matters - I'm a coffee shop kind of guy. I suffer from a mental illness called Schizoaffective disorder and have been misdiagnosed a few times and mistreated by staff and doctors, but I have the perfect medications now and am stable. In the past due to this illness I was guilty of much anger, abusiveness, and I was suicidal at times. It would quite honestly be off-putting to tell details, so I will not. But beside that matter, I am a niceguy, a funloving, perky person who just happens to also find comfort in dark things and beauty as well. Ever since I was young I've had a morbid sense of humor - and we're talking elementary school young. People in goth regalia always seemed to capture my interest, and I remember wanting Hot Topic clothes sooo badly since I was in middle school. Unfortunately, mom said no. But when I got some money once in twelfth grade, and after putting it off for so long, I went ahead and bought some. Hooked. I wavered in and out because I was afraid of what others thought of it, but eventually stuck to it and started to see how the real me fit in and flourished. I studied the culture and matured more quickly than I had before. And here I am today. |
