Hayden was born Hayden Christensen in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on April 19th, 1981. He is 6'1" and started acting when he was 13. His biggest break was starring in "Higher Ground" on FoxFamily in 2000. He played a teen who was molested by his step mom and then turns to drugs. Also in 2000, he appeared in "Trapped in a Purple Haze" the TV movie co-starring Jonathan Jackson (a friend of Hayden's). The role that rockets Hayden to the top of girls' hearts (and the box office charts) is Anakin Skywalker in George Lucas' Star Wars Episode 2: Attack of the Clones which was released in May of 2002. He'll also star as Anakin in Star Wars Episode 3. There Hayden will demonstrate his wonderful acting abilities as young Anakin turns into the evil Darth Vader. In April 2002, Hayden performed in "This is Our Youth" in London with costars Anna Paquin and Jake Gyllenhaal ("Donnie Darko", "Bubble Boy").

As far as his personal life, he has a brother named Tove and a younger sister named Kaylen. In 2002, Hayden was named one of the People's 50 Most Beautiful People. Also in 2002 he was chosen as the hottie of the week by Adrenaline's visitors. :)
