Seven Brides for Seven Brothers: Aspects of the Musical: comprehensive Australian website detailing all aspects of this great film. My first stop in the quest for information.
Internet Movie Database (IMDB): the place to go for information about films or actors appearing on film.
Classic Images: print magazine dedicated to providing insights and resources about classic film. A January 2003 article by David Chierichetti was a substantial source for this site.
Donald O'Connor interview: 1979 interview in Willamette Week, reprinted on the Dance View New York website, in which O'Connor called Tommy one of the best dancers living.
Ballets Russes: Fame, glamour, ego, politics, money, war, love...and dance: EXCELLENT documentary about the revolutionary twentieth century ballet company. Tommy's Seven Brides "brother," Marc Platt, was an early member of the company. This is highly recommended as both an interesting ballet film and as a fascinating historical document. It's wonderful.
