| Question : Recommend me a good book to read. Lance Armstrong : I don't read books much. I'm more a magazine sort of person. Q : What newspaper do you read? L. A. : Depends where I am, over here Herald Tribune, or I try to get a USA Today. Back home in Austin, a local paper or the New York Times. Q : what's your idea of the perfect relaxing day? L. A. : Family. Going to the park or something like that. Q : Favourite food? L.A. : Tex-Mex, burrito or something like that. Q : Favourite drink? L. A. : Shiner Bock beer, that's a local beer in Austin. Q : Favourite training ride? L. A. : Austin has lost a lot of its training rides, just because of development , and it's crowded. Probably a big ride in Nice , up into the hills. Back side of Nice you can basically ride into the Alps. There are maybe 40 really good climbs. Q : Define yourself in 4 words. L. A. : Proud cancer-surviving father. nothing to do with cycling. Q : What's your greatest fear in life? L. A. : I would fear something happening to my son. Before I was scared of it happening to me , for example getting sick again. If he were to get sick that would be mu greatest fear. Q : First record you ever bought? L.A. : I have no idea........... Q. : And the last one? L. A. : A Richard Ashcroft one. He used to be the lead singer for The Verve. |
