Eee! Comic-Con time again, and you know what that means: DG COSPLAYS! I went as Ed again today, because I'm lazy... though I wanted to do AC Tifa, but I didn't get the clothes. Eh, oh well.
Hm... where to start. Well, I got there at around 10:10 AM; I was supposed to meet Cynthia to pick up the boots for my cosplay. DG being DG, she thought, "I know where the registration desks are! They're upstairs, in the entrance hall, across from the anime rooms!" So DG wandered around, going down the exhibit hall. First time: told to go to the end of the hall. Second time: you passed it, it's near Hall D. Third time: Just go up these escalators. Yes, it only took three times asking! Still got sadly lost, though. -.-;;
So DG went up the escalators and found herself near the anime rooms. Knowing where she was going, she crossed through the (hot outside no air-conditioning!) passage into the entrance hall. And found herself on the wrong side of the registration desks, AKA the part where you exit. After staring around with a O_o;; face for a while, she followed a bunch of other people into the only part where you could get to the beginning of the registration area, which, incidentally, had an "Exit Only" sign next to it. The volunteer that was there didn't yell at us, though, so it's all good.
Sooo... seeing the Pre-Registered Badge Claim area thing, DG went over there from the right side this time. Except she saw a line. And she went, ._.;;. So she asked the person standing there if she could just go to the desks or if she had to get in the line, and if it was the latter, how exactly to reach said end of line. After repeating it a few times because she's confusing because she's crazy, he finally understood and just told her to go ahead and go to an empty desk. She did, and then after getting her stuff, she checked to see that Cynthia said that she wasn't there yet. Fifteen minutes of waiting later (yes, DG's very impatient...), she called, and Cynthia said she was still in line, and they said it was the line for pre-registered people, but Cynthia didn't ask the people in the line, because she's weird like that. Then DG went to find her (and took a picture of the Cloud and Tifa in front of her, yay~), and it turned out she was in the right line. In other words, because DG got lost, she didn't have to wait as long. :D
...why the heck am I talking in third person? It's easier if I use first. >>;;
Um... anyway. DG ended up having to wait in line outside anyway, because Cynthia forced her to, and she died in the heat, along with her three layers of Ed cosplay. However, the line didn't take too long to disappear, and then we went inside... yeah. At which point, we agreed to meet Natalie and her friend under the giant Pikachu again, because it was back, yay! :D And Gabby appeared, too, the graduated senior. I dunno what to call her anymore... this is why people shouldn't graduate...
I got introduced to Sam (Nat's friend) and quickly established my claim on Ed, HA HA HA. My friends supported it, seeing as they have various pieces of his clothing. XD Um... well, yes, we decided we would stop by the Tokyopop booth first to get giant bags to lug everything around in. Oh, but first, since we were at the Nintendo/Pokemon booth anyway, we got some of the Pokemon freebies! And we got Sam and Nat to get them, too! I was like, "...SHINY!" That makes it all worth it. SHIIIIINY notebook. *_*
So we tried to find the Tokyopop booth... keyword there, "find." We got sidetracked an awful lot, by cosplayers and other booths and EDO~ *glomples* Uh, yeah, we stopped by... one of the booths, I forgot which one, and we were just leaving when I saw the Funimation booth and they were playing FMA. And I squealed, loudly, and my voice went into high fangirl pitch, and all my friends groaned and dragged me off. They were being so loud I couldn't hear "Ready Steady Go" playing! And I would've sung along, too. Actually, I did, for like one line.
And and and. Well, it turns out the Tokyopop booth wasn't giving out the big bags for free anymore, meh, but while we were there, we saw Alex! I can't believe him; we find him on the first day of CC this year, and yet last year, while I had his skirt, he was nowhere to be found? Soooo cruuuuuel. T_T But we got autographs and whatnot from a manga creator and we also collected cosplay cards from employees for a raffle later, and picked up samplers, blah blah blah. Um... I stole posters from the Funi booth and got another pic taken with the same Al statue as last year (though my friends were pulling me back... they wouldn't let me go and they almost killed me trying to drag me in another direction... >.>;;), then we went to the Square Enix booth and got COOL STUFF! Like, Final Fantasy stuff. And I took a picture of the Ed and Al statue, and the Sora statue, and the Kingdom Hearts figurines, and I got my picture taken by one of the employees, and I wanted to play Dirge of Cerberus, and I asked a question about Before Crisis but about all the answer I got was that it isn't set for release on my phone. ;-; NYUU! And they had a special drawing of Edo done for Comic-Con by Hiromu Arakawa, the manga-ka of FMA, but they wouldn't let you take pictures!
...but we also got free tattoos of some symbol from FFXII. :D And I got another FMA poster!
Well... um. I was the only one in our group of four that had a camera, so I was forced to take lots and lots of pictures for them, even if I had no idea who the people were. BUT SAM AND NAT SAID THEY SAW A RENO! O__O They said they were on the trolley and were talking to him! I want to see him. I. WANT. TO. GLOMP. HIM. But I didn't find him today, but they said he's probably going all four days and and and - GAH! RENO! T_T
Saw another Edo cosplay, took a picture of her and an Envy, got a hug out of that. Wandered, stole more free stuff from booths... tried to find the yaoi booth. XD But we joined a frat of some kind. My frat name is apparently "Short Ed," and Cynthia's is "Shorter One..." Now's as good a time as ever to mention that the boots were killing my feet. Uh, yeah.
Then! It was probably about time for lunch, so we regrouped under Pikachu again, because he's so easy to find. Actually got a picture of the thing this year, too. It's so big... I wanna ride on its back. *snicker* Well, we sat there, talked... I asked Sam if she remembered my name. She didn't, which is why she just called me Ed the whole day, and I actually answered every time, too. Oo;;
Lunch was taken while watching Marmalade Boy. Heh, everyone was lost, including me, and I read the first volume. It was episode 74 or something, what do you expect?
Went back downstairs after that; Gabby mentioned something about a Gaia booth that we wanted to visit along with the yaoi one. Um... well, we saw a Miroku with a sign on his back that said, "Hugs and glomps welcome. Women might be asked to bear children." XD My friends saw that and shoved me forward... I didn't have a choice! It was three against one! @_@ So I glomped him and got a pic. We also saw a kid cosplaying as Sora (so cute~), Valor Form I think, and I went to take a picture. Except my camera died before it saved. Nyah. And he left before I could ask if he was coming other days... ;-; SORAAAA~ I haven't even seen any Organization cosplays yet!
Went back to Tokyopop booth to collect the last card we were missing for the raffle, at which point, some girl asked me to sign something for her sister; she said her sister's weird and wants the signatures of cosplayers. XD So I signed as the black-haired Edward Elric. Then we were going off to visit someplace else, and I found the Joyride booth! Again! So I dragged Nat over there and yelled, "KRISTINA AND NATALIE WANT TO KNOW WHO REMEMBERS THEM!" And the guy at the counter looked over at us and was like, "Oh, no." That made us both crack up, since we actually WERE remembered from last year. We got free stuff (Al promo card and a third FMA poster~), then disappeared off again... more like I was dragged off...

And we found the fourth poster at a small booth along one of the side walls. There were very few left, and one of the guys there said, "Ed and Al are going to be here tomorrow."
Cue DG staring. She did NOT hear that right. Or at least, she didn't interpret it right.
The guy pointed at the sign and said their voice actors were going to be there. DG SQUEALED. VIC AND AARON! VIC MIGNOGNA AND AARON DISMUKE! EDO and ARU! *____* And DG's friends were like, -____-;;, but Sam wanted to come toooooo~ So DG's going there tomorrow! She's already collected all the stuff she wants signed! ^-^
And and and. I think we were looking for the yaoi booth again, except Sam got distracted and was like, "Ooh! DDR!" *moves in a random other direction* Natalie got kinda annoyed at her, but we followed, and that was a good thing, because once there, we found the TWINS! XD The Galinato twins from school! And their little brother and their dad, so they both hugged me and Cynthia and obsessed over Vic and got a pic of me and Cynthia with them and gave me a Risembool Rangers card (sic). x3 It's Vic's fanclub, y'know. I've been to the site before, I'm just too lazy and too possessive to join. Don't want to cause too much trouble.
Uh. SO. Headed to and found the Gaia booth, at which point, I borrowed five dollars from Cynthia to get a Gaia wristband with the wing symbol on it. So pwetty. And then Amanda poofed into being next to us, and we looked around a bit more. Apparently, though we never found the yaoi booth, they were giving out paddles that said "seme" on one side and "uke" on another... and one of Nat and Sam's friends that I didn't know told me that I had to be smacked with the yaoi paddle because I was cosplaying a guy. XD So they did, when my back was turned... *twitch* Though I did try to confuse them by asking about crossdressers. ^o^ Then I decided it was nearly time for me to go, since I was being picked up early and all that. So I left... except saw a super-deformed Cloud doll with a sword, and ran back to get them and show it to them. XD And they obsessed over the Vincent AC poster there, too, oh yes. And then I disappeared.
Comic Con: Day One: 10:00 AM - 2:40 PM

Damage Dealt to a Wallet: $5, but only because I borrowed from Cynthia. I started with no money because I couldn't get change from my parents and my mom hasn't given me my AP money yet.

That's such a terrible picture of me... well, a woman had the Sorting Hat and we asked if it would really tell us what house we were in, she said no, but it would help us draw the right one from her cauldron. I put on the hat and said it was talking to me in my head! XD I pulled Gryffindor, by the way; Nat and Sam got Hufflepuff, Cynthia also got Gryffindor, and, just as I predicted, the only guy with us, Corey, got Slytherin.

HAHA THIS DAY WAS AMAZING. No, seriously... it was... well, let's just get on with it.
Um, anyway, got to CC at about 10:30 because we were running late and had to pick Cynthia up. Pretty much the first thing we wanted to do was head to the Square Enix booth and play Dirge of Cerberus... VINCENT! =^^= So... we went there, or at least tried to, but got sidetracked near the Viz booth. And then I thought I vaguely heard the words "MeruPuri," "creator," and "signing" in the same sentence. I stopped Cynthia and looked at the sign... AND IT WAS TRUE. MATSURI HINO, THE MANGA-KA OF MERUPURI, WAS HAVING AN AUTOGRAPH SESSION. o___o Cue DG squealing and dragging Cynthia into the line, at which point, she also bought the FMA profile book and manga volume nine. Yes, nine isn't supposed to be out for a few months, but it's a convention special~ ^o^ And DG got the Shonen Jump tote bag for dishing out money, too.
Well, they had a sign up saying that you'd get a special MeruPuri/Vampire Knight poster for getting something Shojo Beat, or a subscription, or a MeruPuri volume... and when she was getting her manga, DG looked at the saleslady and said, "I really want that poster, but I already have the entire MeruPuri series..." seeing as it's her favorite manga and all. And she gave me the poster anyway! Squee! =^^= And then Bianca called, and I was basically like, "Get over to the Viz booth. Now."
"Wha...?"
"THE CREATOR OF MERUPURI'S SIGNING."
Pause. "REALLY?"
"YES. Get over here!"
So she did... and we were having quite a fun conversation with the two girls in front of us. :p But Viz was passing out tickets, since only the first hundred people could get stuff autographed, so we were worried that Bianca couldn't get one... until we found one on the floor. After establishing that it didn't belong to anyone near us, Bianca appeared, and I basically shoved it at her and quickly explained that she'd need it. She was confused, so I basically just said, "JUST TAKE IT." Then I went off to grab the manga samplers from Viz, came back, and got my poster signed! I was sooooo elated; it was just amazing, but they would only let us get one item signed. Aw...
So yeah, THEN we went to play Dirge of Cerberus, which is where Nat and Sam found us later... I think. But before that, we got the pic of Vincent and Rufus and Howl! DG fangirled, yay! ^^ So we were playing DC (I got Vincent killed... >>;; I couldn't help it! They dropped on my head and I freaked out and I'm horrible at shooters!), and then I got bored and started interrogating the Square Enix guy nearby about BC. XD He said it's only coming out for Verizon phones before the end of the year, that you won't necessarily need a cameraphone (though you can use it for materia, like in Japan), and that few American phones can play it because phones in Japan are more advanced. T_T Aw...
We were leaving, and then... we were passing by a booth... then Sam was like, "OH! THERE'S RENO!" And we all turned to look to find the Reno that they met yesterday~! Yay! So we got pictures of him, and then when that was done, I asked, "One question. Can I glomp you?"
"Yes."
"YEAH!" So I ran forward and glomped him, and then he looked at my friends and said, "Anyone else?"
"Sure!"
"We should do a group hug..."
"YEAH! GROUP HUG WITH RENO!" So we all ran forward (except for Nat, because she's weird like that) and hugged each other. Squee! =^^= And he also mentioned he saw a Tseng and Elena walking around somewhere, so I started squealing about how I LOVE the Turks. And he agreed. The Turks rock. x3
Um... well, there was one place where we got the autograph of the woman who does the manga Earthsong! ^^ And there was one intersection where I got held up for a while taking pictures and getting pictures taken of me... the cosplay center, I called it. We wandered around for a bit and found out that "Yuko" would be back at around 1:00; that's when the lady would be cosplaying her again. And! While we were at the end of the entrance hall! WE FOUND THE TURKS. *____* And we asked to take a picture, and one of them was like, "Hey, where's the boss? Boss!" And Rufus showed up, and they reminded Rude to put on the sunglasses... :3 So we got them in a group and took pictures and I thanked them so much... I would've glomped them, except there were too many, so I had to content myself with screaming, "WE LOVE YOU!" Ha, and one of them commented that if this was the response they got, they should do this more often. XD
Yeah... well, we found the yaoi booth. :3 And booths with fuzzies and hats and the like! And we met Jenny working at one of the booths. Heehee... got a few more pics, then decided that it was time for lunch, so we went up a floor. On the escalator, some guys asked for my picture when I got to the top, and I basically said, "Sure. ...Bleach, right?" Because yes, they were cosplaying Bleach! Though my friends didn't know, since I'm the only one who collects the manga. Then we came across the green and blue Links while walking to the rooms, and we wanted a picture, but the blue one was going in another direction and we basically thought, eh, later. So Sam and Cynthia yelled, "Run, Link!" to his back, and I got the bright idea of chirping out, "Hey, listen!", which made everyone laugh insanely and express their hatred of Navi, and we got the pic a few minutes later. XD For lunchtime, we once again ate while watching anime... though I don't know what it was. We went into the first room we came to. >>;; I'll look it up later.
After that, we met up with Riley, Mel, and Tony... two of whom have graduated from our school, so I don't know what to call them, either. :p We went downstairs, wandered more, and... I forgot half of what we did. *sweatdrops* Well, when we went downstairs, we found a really awesome PotC2 Jack Sparrow! And then, heading to the yaoi booth, a Marluxia! We obsessed over her (because it was a crossplay again) since she was the first Organization cosplay we'd seen all Comic-Con. Then I wanted to head to Joyride to bother the people there and pick up a few more cards to get signed, because remember, Vic and Aaron! =^-^= Ha... well, we found the booth, wandered around a bit more, got a few more Al promos, and then headed over... it was about 2:30 by this time, and we found Ashley and Nikki already waiting by the signing area - "camped out by the trash can," they called it, at which point, my friends basically said, "Okay! You can wait in line for them, we'll be back later!", and made me wait. But they later passed out tickets that you had to have to get stuff signed, so I got one and they didn't. >D After an hour of waiting, I finally got to the front of the line and there were Vic and Aaron~ Held a mini-conversation with them, got promo FMA TCG cards and a wallscroll signed by them, then asked for a picture and a glomp. *snicker* I was so excited by that point that I wasn't thinking about what I was saying... *cackle* Well, the pic's down there, and I gave them individual glomps, too~
Found a Kadaj cosplay, and had to content myself with telling him that we love him, too, because Kadaj would kill me if I asked for a glomp, and Cynthia said I would defile him if I glomped him. T-T We finally tracked down Yuko and got her picture... I bought a Chocobo pin and tried out some new Starbucks samples... and found Amanda... and THEN. DG was getting tired and her feet were killing her (the shooooes), so we checked the anime listings and decided to watch either Negima or Hare+Guu. But it was fated to never be, because while we were heading out, we met... people in the entrance hall. Yes, people, and Cynthia and Sam squealed because they'd finally found a Cid! Well, he was accompanied by a Squall, a Reno, and someone else we didn't recognize until after we took their picture and he introduced himself. Turns out he was - wait for it...
...Professor Hojo from FF7. "Hey, I just beat Hojo in my game! One Omnislash and his final form was toast!"
Well, he held out a clipboard, and we were like, "What the heck?"
HOJO: "Do you want to donate your organs to Shinra?"
DG: O_O *doesn't wait for further explanation* "YES!"
HOJO: "Then sign here."
DG: *reads* *sees Name, Age, and Materia of Choice columns* "Do we have to put our real names?"
HOJO: "Nope."
DG: "Yay! And can I put down my favorite materia combo instead?" *writes down "Kristina Mustang, 16, Bahamut ZERO + Quadra Magic"*
SAM: "What if we don't want to donate?"
HOJO: "That's fine, but as soon as you walk out that door..."
DG: "Sephy's gonna slice us apart, right?" *hands around the clipboard*
...I only actually read the notes when everyone was done signing. ^^;; And then I got bored, so...
DG: "Hey, can I donate again?"
HOJO: "I don't know..."
RENO: "Do you have a split personality?"
NAT: "I have five personalities."
DG: "...kinda. How about I already donated my organs as myself, so I'll donate as the guy I'm cosplaying as, too?"
HOJO: "That works."
DG: *writes down "Edward Elric, 16"*
HOJO: "And his favorite materia is the transmute materia."
RENO: "Transmutate."
DG: "Actually, that would be Transform..."
RENO: "Not anymore, it isn't."
DG: *shrugs* *writes down Transform/KotR*
And I asked if this had the President's permission, and Hojo said, "Yes... I should find one of them and get them to give it a stamp of approval."
Heh. By the time we got to the actual anime rooms, we had wasted so much time that the shows we were planning to watch were over, so we watched "The World of Narue" instead. ^^;; But it was fun! Those guys were so awesome... and then, well, we went back downstairs, wandered some, and played Dirge of Cerberus some more, at which point, I figured out that, with my suckiness at FPSs, it was much easier to simply run up to the guys shooting at me and take them out in close combat. :D Which basically annuls the whole point of the game, but whatever. Then we had to go... sadly... but not after I listened to Gackt's "Redemption" again!

Yuko Ichihara from xxxHOLiC, also known as the Space-Time Witch from Tsubasa Chronicle! Beautiful job on the costume.
Now this has a story behind it. When we were searching out Yuko, we also found this guy, and after we asked for her picture, he jokingly asked if we wanted his, too. I asked if he really wanted me too, seeing as I would, and he said yes. This is the result. :p
After a grand total of about five minutes of debate, we have decided that this Naruto character is most probably Hayate. Probably. We're still not completely sure.
More Naruto cosplayers. I think Sam mentioned they're the three who died during the Chuunin Exam.
Final Fantasy characters: Reno, Professer Hojo, and Cid Highwind from FF7, as well as Squall from FF8. I loved them enough to donate my organs. :3
There's an infestation of Clouds! And a Rinoa from FFVIII beside him! He threatened me with his sword... said it was probably taller than Edo... I told him I'd transmute him into a frog, and then we got into an argument about the alchemic logic behind that.

Yeah, I know it's late... too bad, I was away. :p As for the anime we watched during lunch on Friday, it turned out to be Mars Daybreak, but I didn't really care because I got bored and started flipping through the FMA profile book instead of watching. *cough*
Anyway! Well, today I went with Bianca, and in my Wufei cosplay instead of as Edo this time! :3 Because my feet were still sore, I wore sneakers instead of shoes that were even vaguely like his; that, and I don't have his shoes, anyway. They're a pain to walk in. >>;; And and and! I stuck a sticker of the Nobody symbol on my forehead to watch everyone give me odd looks as I walked by! :D Um... anyway. We found a ROXAS with PRETTY KEYBLADES! *_* I liked Oathkeeper... well, he didn't really look like Roxas, but seeing as his hood was up, it didn't really matter. But the Keyblades were so PWETTY!
I think it was around this time that I saw Vic standing and talking to someone, and I was like "O____O" and grabbed Bianca. "Look! It's Vic! Can I stalk Vic? Please?" She basically just had a -_-;; face and said no, but by the time we were done taking pictures of cosplayers, he had disappeared and I couldn't find him again. ;_; So no stalking Vic for DG.
*cough* So we headed to the Viz booth in an attempt to go around getting all the stamps on my Naruto passport thing because you get free stuff if you do. Except... there was a long line there, and we were wondering what it was until we looked around and found out that Nobuhiro Watsuki would shortly be doing a signing! :D I asked (because I temporarily forgot why the name sounded familiar), and he's the manga-ka of Rurouni Kenshin! But we couldn't get anything signed because we came too late and couldn't get the signing tickets. T_T
It was around this time that I saw a familiar face and basically went, "What the heck? What is he doing here?" So we wandered over and it was Nick from school! =^^= LOL, he said that Viz is his favorite publisher or something, and he wanted the Shonen Jump tote bags, but to get one, you had to buy something. I suggested he get something for me, but there really wasn't anything I wanted. He just ended up getting a $15 Naruto headband randomly (I would've gotten one, but the cloth part was blue and I wanted black), and he put it on, saying he was one of the geeks now. Pic down there. :D They also had Naruto gloves, and I was tempted, very tempted, but they were $15 too, and I wanted to save my money. I only had twenty, you see.
After that, we dropped by the Joyride booth again to bother them early in the morning, but they seemed a bit distracted, and I noticed they were giving out tickets. "Hey, are those... like last year's?" So we got some again, for the Halo figures, again, and picked up more cards. I got an Edward Elric, Shrimp card (or three... but that's not the point), along with a chase they gave me because I'm DG. =^^= Don't ask.
And then! After that. We got in line again to see Vic and Aaron, and this time, Nat actually joined us and she and Bianca got stuff signed. ^-^ So they signed another two cards for me, as well as my FMA shirt, which means I have a slight dilemna. It's pwetty and I wanna wear it, but I'd risk washing off the signatures... T-T *idiot* And and and. While we were there, they were playing the dub FMA, and I was singing along to the opening and ending themes, but as soon as we got up to the table, it delayed the beginning of one episode, and when it actually started, it skipped the theme altogether! ;-; It hated me! Nat was happy, though... >>;; Well, Vic said it was the birthday of another woman sitting near them, who was Caitlin Glass's (Winry and Rose's) mother, so we sang for her! =^^=
So by that time, it was around lunchtime-ish, and we called up Sam and everyone and figured out that we wouldn't eat lunch in the anime rooms today for... some strange reason. We went upstairs and ran into a crowd that was being held off by CC officials, and we basically went ?_? for a few minutes before finding out that there was a line to get into some Simpsons thing in the ballroom and they were keeping people from cutting (and also, inadvertantly, us taking the easy way to the anime rooms). We had to go back downstairs, walk across that, and then come up from the other side, but along the way... we saw Alex. You know, the same Alex from last year who kept calling me freak? Yes, that Alex. The graduated Alex. The Alex who was - wait for it...

So I got a picture of him, and I realized that the way he was holding the Keyblade was blocking his face... I asked him if he meant to do that, and he said yes. I told him I'd post up the pictures all over school. =^-^= And though he probably noticed the Nobody sticker on my forehead and realized that he made it, he didn't comment. Aw... While down there, we also found a Naruto group, and then we went back upstairs to eat. The Naruto group appeared again before too long, this time with EVEN MORE PEOPLE, and everyone basically went all OMG and took more pics. :D Then we called Cynthia, who had come with her sister, and this kinda got mentioned...
DG: "Ne, we saw a whole group of Naruto cosplayers! And we got a picture of a Roxas with really pretty Keyblades! You have to come see!"
CYNTHIA: "We found a Riku..."
DG: O___O "WHAT?"
CYNTHIA: "Didn't take a picture, though."
DG: "Wha...? WHERE? WHY NOT?"
CYNTHIA: "He wasn't a very good Riku..."
SAM/BIANCA: *from my side of the phone* "What?"
DG: *in an aside* "She found a Riku!"
SAM/BIANCA: O___O *gasp* "YOU FOUND A RIKU?"
DG: *starts laughing* "Did you hear that?"
CYNTHIA: "I heard the gasps, yeah."
DG: "Where did you see him? How long ago?"
CYNTHIA: "I don't know."
DG: >>;; "You should've taken a picture anyway!"
SAM/BIANCA: "SHE DIDN'T TAKE A PICTURE?"
DG: "I know! It's RIKU! She still should've taken a picture!"
And so on and so forth. XD I'm sorry, you don't deny the fangirls their silver-haired bishie! Moving on...
Then we went down again, meeting Cynthia and her sister under the Pikachu on our way, before we went off to one of the booths on the end to get PINS and the like. x3 But while we were looking at stuff, I spent five minutes staring at a Loveless necklace debating whether I should get it; Bianca and Natalie were also talking about the Loveless jewelry stuff, since they were so pwetty. o_o So I finally decided to dish out fifteen dollars to get a necklace with a pretty shiny blue butterfly pendant on it, since butterflies appear a lot in Loveless. x3 It's Soubi, I tell you! Then we bought pins, and I broke my promise to myself to not get any more FMA pins, because there was an ADORABLE one of Roy with Black Hayate on his head! XD And I also got a Sephy and a Cloudy pin, too, but I had to borrow money from Bianca, which was fine, because Nat still hadn't paid me back and whatnot.
By that time, we'd spent so much time looking at the pins and such that we'd lost the others, so we stopped by the Starbucks sample thing and got the Frappuchino juice blend samples again. ^_^;; Pomegranate and tangerine... I liked the pomegranate better, truthfully. Then we went back to the Joyride booth, and guess what? Our tickets won again! XD So we stood there trying to sell them off for a little while... got some more free FMA cards, because a woman came up and asked if the deck spread out on the counter was for free, and they said yes, so she got the shiny Roy card that I wanted but didn't ask about because I thought we couldn't take them. >>;; But I got the SHINY Armstrong cards! This was my order of priority for taking them: 1. Shiny, 2. Edo, 3. Funny/personal favorites, 4. Useful for my deck. XD;; But while we were pawning off our tickets, guess what I overheard?
"Hey, do you remember those two girls who tried to sell their tickets to us last year?"
At which point, I promptly turned around and located the speaker (who I remembered, LOL) and yelled out, "You mean us?" And he was just like, "Yeah." But technically, it was only me, since Nat was the one with me last year and not Bianca. x3 We decided to ask for fifteen dollars for each of the tickets, like last year, but changed it to ten for little kids because we weren't about to extort money from children. o.o But both tickets finally got sold for fifteen each (to different people this year), and Bianca had been getting impatient trying to sell them, but she did thank me for the money-making scheme afterwards. XD The guy we sold our ticket to said it had been practically his whole reason for coming to CC. Wow.
Now that I had money, the Joyride guys convinced me to buy FMA cards. "Hey, see those packs over there? There's a shiny in each one."
DG: O__O "SHINY." *buys a pack of Hero's Passing and stares as it as she buys it; there's a picture of a grave on the front* "You know, this never happened."
And they made fun of me for that, too. >>;; I got a SHINY of Barry the Chopper, heh! XD And another card that wouldn't go with my deck at all (can't use an Elric faction leader, and you get one guess who I use as my main character), and another that technically shouldn't exist. Maes' Funeral? Where'd that come from?
Um... anyway. So then, after Bianca bought more manga (including Fushigi Yuugi Genbu Kaiden... :D I wanna read that), we went back upstairs and I read the latest volume of Ouran High School Host Club, which totally rocks and that I highly recommend. *snicker* But we found Riku up there and took a picture... Cynthia was there, too. ^^ Then, since I had to leave early, we went back downstairs to go claim the Naruto passport thing, and I... kinda got distracted by the Square Enix booth. Because Redemption was playing. Along with a Dirge of Cerberus trailer thing on screen. I wanted to stop and watch it, but my friends wouldn't let me! They literally dragged me away and back to the Viz booth! T____T Vincent... well, we were a little late for the Naruto passport claim thing, since they were already setting up for the Nobuhiro Watsuki thing... aww. I just gave it to Amanda so she could claim it for me later, and then we had to go... and so ends CC for me this year. :D

Money Left: $160-ish? Iunno, but I'm gonna be spending a lot of it on FMA DVDs in the next three or so months. >>;;
