Colette is discharged and initially feels ready to return to work resigned to the fact that Josh hates her. However, Simons bumbled excuse for an apology only upsets her. She just cannot work with both men. Comfort makes one last ditch attempt to get husband and wife reconciled and informs Josh. He overcomes his pride and tells Josh he loves her but it is too late. She cannot forgive herself and asks him to let her go. Colette drives off, alone, and Josh is so incense that he tells Simon he is going to ruin his life at the first opportunity.
Elsewhere, Nikki and Jack witness a punch up at the travel agents while booking their round-the-world trip, and one of the men is later found murdered back at the hospital. With all the cash that Jack is flashing around, Nikki goes shopping for her wedding dress with Anna and asks her to be bridesmaid. Meanwhile, Vinnay and his henchmen, break into Tonys empty house and trash it. Tony arrives home to a warning � Next time it wont be the furniture we are breaking. " Tony demands the truth from Jack who reveals the money has been ripped off and most of it is spent.
Luke spends the day shadowing and irritating Lara but, at a loose end, she is persuaded to go for a drink with him. They head to a bar and swop alcohol-induced personal confessions. Lara invites herself back to Luke�s and they end up in a passionate embrace.

Colette tells Simon that he is responsible for the genetic abnormalities found in their child. But their conversation ends abruptly when Josh bursts in on them and an argument breaks out.
Colette talks to Comfort about the difficult decision she faces and is touched when Comfort offers her unswerving support. Colette decides to keep the baby. But,after a nasty jolt in the back of the ambulance, she starts to suffer severe pain and goes for an ultrasound scan.
Everyone warns Nikki about sacrificing her job for a relationship and she eventually decides on a compromise.
Jack is distracted by the presence of Vinnay. He tells Jack that Eddie owed him �300,000 and demands his money back.
