Series 17 Episode 26 - Ginnie Hole - 8/3/03
Tony and Ben decide to go out for a romantic meal to celebrate moving in together but the evening becomes less than cosy when John turns up drunk at their table. When he blurts out that he and Ben have slept together, Tony storms out of the restaurant, smashing glasses on his way. Chasing Tony down the quayside, Ben desperately tries to get his attention and is met with a punch in the face. A brawl ensues and, as Ben pushes him away, Tony falls over the side into the river, bashing his back on the side of a boat as he goes. Ben manages to rescue him from the water, but Harry and the team have a battle on their hands to save his life.
Meanwhile, Josh is taking over Jeff �s job but things do not run smoothly after Fin and Comfort are called to help a prominent doctor who has collapsed with chest pains during his leaving party. His colleagues try to help, but turn out to be more of a hindrance as Fin is stopped from doing his job. Josh is called in to take control of the situation but Fin is furious when he is later reprimanded for speaking out against the senior doctors, even though they were entirely at fault.
Series 17 Episode 25 - Gregory Evans - 1/3/03
Selina Donovan,arrives in the department to carry out new drug trials. When Selina gets the go ahead from upstairs,Harry is pleased, but Charlie has reservations and thinks it will be disruptive.
Elsewhere, Nikki has to attend a call-out with Jeff, who is his usual annoying self and tries to pull rank at every opportunity. He tactlessly threatens an already twitchy man who turns nasty and holds them both hostage. Things spiral out of control, resulting in a fatality.
Colette breaks the news to Simon about the baby but he thinks she should terminate the pregnancy. Things become clearer when Jane, a prostitute, is admitted to the hospital after falling down a flight of stairs and Colette overhears her talking to Simon. She discovers that Simon may have been sleeping with Jane during their relationship. The staff gossip and Jane, sick of their gawping, discharges herself. Simon chases after her and tells her he loves her in front of everyone.
